Background: The implementation of Electronic Medical Records (RME) in healthcare facilities still faces a high failure rate, with more than 50% of RME systems not being used optimally. Sawah Besar Hospital, which began implementing RME in August 2023, recorded 1,500 cases of errors in a year, with 60% of system errors and 30% of user errors. This study aims to analyze the factors that affect the intention of using RME by nurses by integrating the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). This quantitative research uses a census method by involving 70 nurses as respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using path analysis. The results showed that perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control, and attitude toward use simultaneously affected the intention to use RME (F=77.917, p<0.05). Attitude toward use acts as a mediator in the relationship between perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness to the intention to use RME. These findings have important implications for hospital management in optimizing the implementation of RME through improving technical aspects and forming positive user attitudes.

The importance of green building concepts is emphasized in the current era due to the drastic decline in global climate conditions. However, their development is hindered as they are primarily applied to new buildings, while almost two-thirds of the world's buildings are already constructed. This study aims to improve the efficiency of Green Retrofitting, accelerating the growth of green buildings in Indonesia. It identifies the procurement and permitting processes for Green Retrofitting in high-rise office buildings in Jakarta, along with high-risk activities from these processes. Additionally, it develops a model of the relationship between these high-risk activities and the implementation efficiency of green retrofitting, using a Monte Carlo approach based on the Regulation of the Minister of Public Works and Housing No. 21 of 2021 and the Green Building Council Indonesia. The analysis uses data from 26 expert respondents on green retrofitting procurement and permitting, finding 83 activities with 214 risk indicators influencing green retrofitting efficiency, including 57 high risks. Identifying the most risky activities, the study develops a relationship model and conducts simulation and optimization to improve project time efficiency, ultimately accelerating the growth of green buildings in Indonesia.

There is not enough research on decision-making and management process of organizations that do not make a profit. Economists should include healthy companies, as well as sick ones, the same way doctors do. Decisions that are rational or legitimate to the point of view of the parties, but which are incomprehensible to the point of view of the third party, can occur in any era, any country or culture. Although many studies in social psychology and management have been done on abnormal decision-making to save such organizations, abnormal decision-making processes that occur in Japan are different from those studied in Europe and the United States. This is due to institutional or cultural background. It is characterized by not knowing who is responsible, not knowing what they are doing for, decisions that are not for the individual benefit of the decision maker or of course not for the organizational goals. Moreover, the decision is inconsistent. The purpose of this paper is to model this aspect. The Escalation Model shows the rigidity of decision-making arising from the sense of responsibility of decision-makers, while the university case is based on the rigidity of decision-making arising from the irresponsibility of decision-making.

Standalone electronic personal health record can be a useful tool that enables individuals to store, arrange and share their health information easily and they can build a history of their health timeline which is crucial for raising healthcare quality and better self-management, the adoption rate of these applications has been identified in several countries to be low and slowly progressing.Although there are some applications of standalone ePHR available in the market for usage free of charge but it’s almost not adopted at all, this study will investigate some of the factors that might affect the adoption of ePHR technology by adults in Egypt and provide business professionals a better picture for what can motivate or hinder the adoption process to achieve better adoption rates and eliminate the barriers. In order to ensure a comprehensive contextual analysis, researchers analyzed the research in hand with the perspective of the proposed contextual framework, the Nine Elements Framework/Model (Elsafty, 2018) that analyzes social studies research in general, and business/management reseaerches as well.Using the nine elements framework, the authors used it to discover the underlying factors that are causing the problems faced by the research in hand, and resulted in the coming contextual analysis defining the research scope and focus, which in the case of this paper is on Perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use were adapted from TAM that was initially developed by Fred Davis (1989) and they proved to have a high predictive power of behavioral intention in CHI context, The extensions of TAM including UTAUT & UTAUT2 seems to be irrelevant to this research context since UTAUT is more oriented towards the organizational context (Venkatesh et al., 2012) and UTAUT2 added factors, Price value seems to be irrelevant in this research context as we are already studying platforms that are provided free of charge, Hedonic motivation maybe irrelevant to this context as healthcare related service is mostly associated with seriousness and urgency, also testing unimplemented platforms that are not yet adopted makes from the habit unrealistic experience that may be inaccurate to measure.Since other several researches recommended extending these factors with other additional factors to make it more relevant to the healthcare consumer context (Kim & Park, 2012), these factors may include health-related factors, technology-related factors and personal-related factors. Findings in this research revealed that adoption rate in Egypt is still very low and high demand for this service which makes this research is significant as it’s trying to find out the reasons behind this gap, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, (privacy and security), eHealth literacy, personalization and awareness had a significant impact on behavioral intention to use standalone ePHR applications. Personalization was found to have the strongest effect on behavioral intention followed by perceived usefulness. Health status was found to have an insignificant effect on behavioral intention which indicates the interest of people with different health statuses in standalone ePHR.

Taking into account the priorities of the European economic development for the 2030 agenda, the digital economy and the green economy are priority topics in the development of environmental and digitalization policies of the last decade. Concepts such as "digital economy", "green products", green investments", green energy" have been used in the last decades. The concepts of green economy, ecological growth and ecological society were triggered on the international agenda by the financial and economic crises of 2008-2009. This article attempts to answer questions such as: What is the impact of digitization on digitization in Romania? What is the impact of digitization on the rural environment? What is the impact of developing the green economy and creating green jobs? Why not combine these two priority areas to get the right result. Moreover, in the research I made a connection with the Management of the local public administration, which needs digitalization and which can have a direct impact on the support and development of the green economy at the level of the rural localities and the creation of new digital and ecological jobs.

Since investors, as the main sources of corporate resources, demand complete and accurate corporate information, stock overvaluation and information asymmetry can affect investors, creditors, accounting policy makers, and consequently society as a whole. The present study focuses on public and private lenders such as banks. Because banks are more active than other public lenders in monitoring and reviewing borrowing companies, they can recognize the overvaluation of corporate stocks and widen the bank loan debt gap. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of information asymmetry on the relationship between stock overvaluation and bank loan yield gap. In this regard, to test the hypotheses, 94 companies in the stock exchange during the years 2011 to 2016 were selected and the hypotheses were tested using regression analysis of composite data. The results indicate that information asymmetry increases the effects of stock overvaluation on the bank loan yield gap.

PurposeThe purpose of this paper is to present the findings of a research on collaborative personal knowledge registration (PKR). It seeks to explain the interrelationship between records professionals and human resource (HR) and training professionals, as well as the views of management and quality managers on collaborative PKR. It aims to raise awareness of records professionals as specialists in information management, including personal knowledge.Design/methodology/approachQualitative methodology was used to conduct the research. It was a multiple-case study, covering 12 organizations in Iceland. In these organizations, 32 professionals were interviewed. The research sought to understand how PKR was being facilitated, as well as how personal knowledge was made accessible and usable for employees.FindingsThe organizations had not been as successful as anticipated in PKR. The role and responsibility of records professionals was limited in the PKR process. Different professionals seemed unaware of the possible synergy effect of collaborative PKR.Originality/valueThere is a lack of studies that explore the juxtaposition and collaboration of records professionals and HR and training professionals in organizations. The aim of this research was to bridge this gap. Its originality lies in how it approaches diverse professions and their collaborative PKR effort. This research provides a valuable practical and theoretical contribution to a rapidly growing interdisciplinary field of information and records management. It can lay the foundation for further research into the field.

BackgroundOrganisational culture is an anthropological metaphor used to inform research and consultancy and to explain organisational environments. In recent years, increasing emphasis has been placed on the need to change organisational culture in order to improve healthcare performance. However, the precise function of organisational culture in healthcare policy often remains underspecified and the desirability and feasibility of strategies to be adopted have been called into question. The objective of this review was to determine the effectiveness of strategies to change organisational culture in order to improve healthcare performance.MethodsWe searched the following electronic databases: The Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, MEDLINE, EMBASE, CINAHL, Sociological Abstracts, Web of Knowledge, PsycINFO, Business and Management, EThOS, Index to Theses, Intute, HMIC, SIGLE, and Scopus until October 2009. The Database of Abstracts of Reviews of Effectiveness (DARE) was searched for related reviews. We also searched the reference lists of all papers and relevant reviews identified, and we contacted experts in the field for advice on further potential studies. We considered randomised controlled trials (RCTs) or well designed quasi-experimental studies (controlled clinical trials (CCTs), controlled before and after studies (CBAs), and interrupted time series (ITS) analyses). Studies could be set in any type of healthcare organisation in which strategies to change organisational culture in order to improve healthcare performance were applied. Our main outcomes were objective measures of professional performance and patient outcome.ResultsThe search strategy yielded 4,239 records. After the full text assessment, two CBA studies were included in the review. They both assessed the impact of interventions aimed at changing organisational culture, but one evaluated the impact on work-related and personal outcomes while the other measured clinical outcomes. Both were at high risk of bias. Both reported positive results.ConclusionsCurrent available evidence does not identify any effective, generalisable strategies to change organisational culture. Healthcare organisations considering implementing interventions aimed at changing culture should seriously consider conducting an evaluation (using a robust design, e.g., ITS) to strengthen the evidence about this topic.
