Transforming Civic Education Through Nationalism Projects to Strengthen Global Diversity Character in Higher Education

Globalization has influenced citizens' mindset, behavior, and attitudes, shifting traditional national values such as mutual cooperation, care, fairness, and mutual respect toward more individualistic and egocentric orientations. These changes pose a serious challenge to shaping national character, particularly among university students. This study aims to develop a Global Civics Learning Model Based on National Projects to strengthen students' character in embracing diversity. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the 4-D model: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. Data were analyzed using the Independent Sample T-Test to assess the model's effectiveness. The results indicate that the model has a very high level of validity, with content validation scoring an average of 94.72% and construct validation at 94.20%. Effectiveness testing revealed a significant difference between the experimental and control groups (sig. < 0.001), demonstrating the model’s effectiveness in enhancing students’ character related to global diversity. It is recommended that the model be applied more widely in civic education courses to cultivate national identity while promoting global citizenship values among students.
A Case Study of Barriers to Emotional Support Towards Successful Aging in Malaysia

The objective of this study is to delve into the difficulties faced by older adults when it comes to receiving emotional support, and how these challenges affect their ability to age well. The study utilized a qualitative approach, conducting in-depth interviews and thematic analysis to present its findings. The sample group consisted of 24 older adults and three government officials who were interviewed. The study identified various obstacles to emotional support, such as family crises, stress from children’s problems, negative attitudes from children, and cultural changes. The analysis proposes several strategies to enhance emotional support for older adults, including encouraging them to volunteer to feel more connected, promoting the concept of self-care and self-love, utilizing technology to communicate, raising awareness about the emotional support needs of older adults, implementing intergenerational programs to promote emotional support across different age groups, and collaborating with community organizations to improve emotional support. Despite the importance of this topic, there is currently insufficient research on the barriers to emotional support in the context of successful aging, particularly in Malaysia.

Teachers’ Understanding and Constraints of Global Diversity Character Learning in Early Childhood Education

The current research aims to describe teachers’ understanding and constraints of global diversity character learning in early childhood education (ECE), especially at the kindergarten level (educational services for children aged 4 – 6 years) seen from several factors, namely: a) kindergarten teachers' understanding of the global diversity concept; b) use of global diversity teaching materials; c) types of global diversity teaching materials; and d) content of global diversity teaching materials. This study is a qualitative study with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through surveys, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The respondents of this study were 55 kindergarten teachers at School Mover who were members of IGTKI Central Java. The data analysis technique used was the Miles and Huberman interactive technique, which included data collection, data reduction, data presentation, conclusion, and data verification. The validity and reliability tests showed that this questionnaire item was valid and reliable. The results show that the majority of kindergarten teachers have a good understanding of the concept of global diversity dimension, use various types and forms of relevant teaching materials, the teaching materials used are from various trusted and varied references, and the content of the teaching materials has met the key elements of global diversity. However, teachers still experience obstacles in teaching materials because the existing teaching materials are less interesting for children. This study suggests the presence of more interesting teaching materials in the form of flipbooks, as flipbooks stimulate children's interest in learning global diversity characters.
The Religiosity of Coastal Communities: A Study of The Implementation of Islamic Religious Education in Fishermen's Families in Tanjung Luar

The purpose of this study was to analyze the implications of Islamic religious education for the religiosity of the coastal community in the village of Tanjung Luar. This research method uses a qualitative-phenomenological approach. The research location is located in Tanjung Luar Village, Keruak District, East Lombok Regency. The data sources in this study consist of primary and secondary data. Data was obtained from observation, interviews, and documentation. The population of this research is the coastal fishing community of Tanjung Luar. The research sample was taken from community leaders, religious leaders, youth leaders, and madrasah students proportionally. Data analysis in this study used descriptive qualitative analysis, by collecting data, classifying data, reducing, evaluating, and making conclusions. Based on the results of the study, shows that Islamic religious education in fishermen's families in the village of Tanjung Luar has significant implications for carrying out Islamic worship and law in everyday life. There are two categories of fishing families in implementing Islamic religious education. First, parents who implement Islamic religious values in their family. Second, parents who lack the motivation in implementing Islamic religious values in their family

Development of Digital Fiqh Books to Improve Learning Outcomes SMP IT As-Sunnah Makassar

Rapid advances greatly influence the world of education in technology, information, and communication. Teachers must be able to use technology to create innovative and effective learning. This research aims to identify the need for digital books, design the development of digital books, and measure the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of digital books. This research uses research and development methods focused on developing digital books. The development model refers to the ADDIE development model with five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research was conducted at SMP IT As-Sunnah Makassar with 30 research students, 1 Fiqh subject teacher, and two validators. The digital book developed was declared very valid by media content/design experts and valid by material experts. The level of practicality was measured from questionnaire responses by teachers and students. Both assessments stated that it was convenient. The level of effectiveness of digital books is measured by pretest and posttest, which shows an increase in learning outcomes and that they are declared very effective. Based on the analysis results, it can be concluded that the development of digital fiqh books can be used in the learning process.
Abstrak
Dunia pendidikan sangat dipengaruhi oleh kemajuan pesat dalam teknologi, informasi dan komunikasi. Guru harus mampu menggunakan teknologi untuk membuat pembelajaran inovatif dan efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan buku digital, mendesain pengembangan buku digital dan mengukur tingkat validitas, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan buku digital. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) yang difokuskan untuk mengembangkan buku digital. Model pengembangan yang digunakan mengacu pada model pengembangan ADDIE dengan lima tahapan; analysis, design, development, implement, dan evaluate. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMP IT As-Sunnah Makassar dengan penelitian 30 siswa, 1 orang guru mata pelajaran Fiqih, dan 2 orang validator. Buku digital yang dikembangkan dinyatakan sangat valid oleh ahli isi media/desain dan valid oleh ahli materi. Tingkat kepraktisannya diukur dari angket respon oleh guru dan siswa, dari kedua penilaian dinyatakan sangat praktis. Tingkat keefektifan buku digital diukur dengan pretest dan posttest yang menunjukkan terjadinya peningkatan hasil belajar sehingga dinyatakan sangat efektif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan buku digital fiqih dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Identification of Science Misconceptions Using Two-Tier Multiple Choice for Elementary School Grade IV Students

This study aims to identify the level of science misconceptions about plant parts and their function in fourth-grade students of Batumarta Public Elementary School. This study uses descriptive research with the quantitative method. The research was conducted at Batumarta Public Elementary School. The sampling using a saturated sampling technique. The sample of this study consisted of 28 students. The data collection instrument used two-tier multiple-choice questions that had previously been tested for construct validation with biologists, other lecturers, or supervisors. The data analysis technique uses data grouping and data interpretation. This misconception will be identified using a diagnostic test with a research instrument in the form of two-tier multiple-choice questions. Based on the results of the study, it was found that students who experienced misconceptions in the material of plant parts and their functions in the category of knowing concepts as much as 16.42%, students in the category of pure misconceptions as much as 18.03%, student category of misconceptions guessing as much as 15.88%, and students in the category of not understanding as much as 49.63%. the conclusion was that the students of Batumarta Public Elementary School experienced misconceptions in the very low category, namely as much as 18.03%.

PENERAPAN NILAI-NILAI KEARIFAN LOKAL DALAM MEMPERTAHANKAN BUDAYA KAMPUNG ADAT CIREUNDEU DI ERA MODERNISASI

Kampung adat cireundeu yang berlokasi di Kota Cimahi, sebuah kampung yang memiliki kebudayaan unik dengan beragam adat dan tradisinya. Penerapan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal merupakan suatu upaya untuk meminimalisir dampak negatif dari arus globalilasi pada era moderenisasi ini. Karena dampak globalisasi akan menjadi suatu ancaman yang serius apabila generasi muda tidak didasari oleh kesaddaran akan pentingnya nilai-nilai adat dan tradisi yang berlaku dalam lingkungannya. Metode yang dilakukan yaitu kajian pustaka. Hasil dari kajian ini menunjukan bahwa kearifan lokal dalam upaya menjaga ketahanan budayanya yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat kampung adat Cireundeu mampu hidup berkembang dalam masyarakat adat tersebut selama ratusan tahun yakni terhitung sejak 1918 hingga saat ini. Kemampuan mereka mempertahankan kebudayaannya dari generasi ke generasi. Kearifan lokal Kampung adat Cireundeu memiliki konstribusi terhadap swasembada dan diverifikasi pangan yang baik dengan angka yang kecukupan bahkan surplus produksi pangan, tumbuhnya ekonomi lokal berbasis bahan baku setempat, kemandirian pangan, industri rumahan serta kegiatan pariwisatawan.

Optimizing the Potential Resources of Tahfidz Al Qur'an Educational Institutions: Quality Management Review

This study aimed to determine the management of improving the quality of resources at the Tahfidz Al-Qur'an Al Haromain Banjarmasin Institute. This research is descriptive qualitative research, using interviews, observations, and documentation as data collection techniques. The data analysis is carried out in stages: data reduction, data display and concluding. The study results indicate that the Tahfidz Al-Qur'an Al Haromain Educational Institution has managed to improve the management of the quality of resources in its institution. Planning efforts for all resources are carried out; the supervisory process is also carried out on the management of human resources, leaders, teachers, students, and parents, then the management of financial resources for those who apply mandatory infaq and for those who have donors have the control of donations from outside donors, management facilities and infrastructure and others that are by the existing theory.

Menguji Kesiapan Belajar Siswa Berbasis High Order Thinking Skill di Indonesia

Even though HOTS-based learning has been implemented since 2018, students' readiness has not been tested. This study aims to test the willingness of students to learn based on HOTS in Indonesia. Readiness is reviewed based on the 4C criteria: critical thinking, creative, communicative, and collaborative. This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach. The sample was selected by random cluster sampling of 2.645 Indonesian students. The test method uses a questionnaire and observation. Data were taken by using observation, interview, and questionnaire techniques. The results show that students look active during discussions but still find it challenging to develop their creativity to solve problems. In quizzes, students should start to get used to the thinking process at levels C4 to C6, but students still choose C1 to C3. This study concludes that students are ready for criteria C1 to C3 and unprepared for learning at levels C4 to C6. Students need intense coaching and mentoring to support the successful implementation of HOTS-based learning.
EFFECT OF BREAST CARE IN PUBLIC WOMEN ON NEONATE WEIGHT INCREASE

Background: Breastcare is one of the interventions that can be done to increase and overcome the lack of breast milk so that it can rule out formula milk as an alternative. One of the signs that breast milk is finally in the sufficient phase can be seen in the baby's weight gain. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of breastcare on postpartum mothers on increasing neonatal weight at PMB Noris Hadi Boyolali. Methods: quasi-experimental research design with pretest-posttest control group design. The number of samples was 22 postpartum mothers with purposive sampling technique. The independent variable was breast care for postpartum mothers for the intervention group once a day from day 10-13 (a total of 4 times) and the control group once on day 10, the dependent variable was the increase in neonatal weight which was examined on days 10 and 14. The instruments used are SOP for postpartum mother's breastcare and baby scales. Data analysis used Wilcoxon test, paired t test, and Mann Whitney test. Results: The results of the analysis of the effect of breastcare on postpartum mothers on increasing neonatal weight with the Mann Whitney test obtained p value = 0.208, meaning that there is no effect of breastcare on postpartum mothers on increasing neonatal weight. Conclusions: There was no difference in neonatal weight before and after breastcare was given to postpartum mothers between groups. There was no effect of breastcare on postpartum mothers on the increase in weight of neonates statistically, but the increase in weight of neonates in the intervention group was greater than in the control group.

ANALISIS KEBIJAKAN PENDIDIKAN DI JEPANG, FINLANDIA, CHINA DAN INDONESIA DALAM MENDUKUNG SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kebijakan pendidikan yang mendukung SDGs pendidikan berkualitas di beberapa negara dan juga untuk memberikan solusi bagi kebijakan pendidikan di Indonesia yang berkaitan dengan SDGs pendidikan berkualitas. Metode yang digunakan yaitu library research dengan mengambil referensi dari buku, website, dan jurnal internasional. Sustainable Development Goals atau yang biasa disingkat SDGs merupakan tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan yang dihasilkan dari KTT PBB pada tahun 2012. Salah satu dari 17 tujuan yang dihasilkan yaitu mengenai pendidikan berkualitas. Untuk mendukung pendidikan berkualitas di semua negara tentu diperlukan sebuah kebijakan pendidikan. Beberapa negara seperti Jepang, Finlandia, Cina, dan Indonesia telah menunjukan adanya kebijakan pendidikan yang diterbitkan untuk mendukung SDGs pendidikan berkualitas. Jepang membuktikan kebijakan yang mendukung SDGs dengan diberlakukannya pendidikan gratis dari pendidikan anak usia dini hingga pendidikan tinggi, lalu Jepang juga melakukan upaya untuk meningkatkan pendidikan kebutuhan khusus. Di Finlandia, SDGs telah menjadi salah satu dari tujuh topik yang ditekankan dalam kurikulum inti untuk pendidikan dasar. Kebijakan pendidikan di China adalah berupaya mengarahkan fungsi pendidikan menuju sumber daya masyarakat dan individu, dan menumbuhkan kualitas pendidikan kewarganegaraan. Di Indonesia kebijakannya untuk peningkatan aksesibilitas dan kualitas pendidikan, peningkatan kualitas pendidik dan sarana pendukung pendidikan, peningkatan layanan pendidikan, dan memperkuat dan mengembangkan pendidikan karakter.

Pendidikan merupakan hal yang penting bagi setiap orang. Dengan adanya pendidikan maka negara juga akan semakin berkembang. Untuk mencapai pendidikan yang baik tentunya pemerintah sudah membuat sebuah kebijakan ataupun peta pendidikan agar pendidikan semakin teratur dan dapat mencapai tujuan secara maksimal. Kebijakan yang dibuat oleh pemerintah tentu saja sudah melalui proses pemikiran yang panjang, jika nantinya terdapat kendala dalam penerapan kebijakan maka hal tersebut bisa dijadikan perbaikan atau pelajaran agar kedepannya semakin baik. Didalam penelitian ini akan dibahas mengenai analisis kebijakan peta perjalanan pendidikan nasional 2020-2035. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu : (1) Bagaimanakah gambaran pendidikan di Indonesia?, (2) Apa saja tantangan yang dihadapi dalam dunia pendidikan?, (3) Bagaimanakah kebijakan peta jalan pendidikan nasional Indonesia?. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskripsi analitik dan studi literatur kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan Indonesia pernah mengalami suatu perubahan sistem pendidikan, karena pada saat itu terjadi pembaharuan Undang-Undang yang berkaitan dengan pendidikan. Kemudian, tantangan yang dihadapi dalam dunia pendidikan berkaitan dengan proses input, pelaksanaan, dan output dari pendidikan. Untuk membuat pendidikan semakin berkembang maka dibuatlah Peta Jalan Pendidikan Nasional dimana program atau kebijakan Merdeka Belajar menjadi strategi utamanya.
Pendidikan Merdeka dalam Perspektif Ki Hadjar Dewantara dan Relevansinya Terhadap Merdeka Belajar di Indonesia

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis konsep pendidikan merdeka dalam perspektif Ki Hadjar Dewantara dan relevansinya terhadap kebijakan merdeka belajar di Indonesia. Jenis penelitiam yang dilakukan adalah library research dengan menggunakan sumber buku, jurnal, dan artikel ilmiah. Data yang telah dikumpulkan dianalisis dengan metode content analysis. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa Ki Hadjar Dewantara memberikan konsep pendidikan merdeka dimulai dengan memerdekakan peserta didik, merdeka batin, mereka pikiran dan fisik dengan mengimplementasikan panca dharma dalam sistem Taman Siswa. Pendidikan merdeka Ki Hadjar Dewantara relevan terhadap kebijakan merdeka belajar di Indonseia dilihat dari tujuan pendidikan, sistem pembelajaran, guru, dan peserta didik.Kata Kunci: pendidikan merdeka, merdeka belajar, panca dharma, sistem among.
Sistem Pendidikan Pesantren dan Tantangan Modernitas

Abstract The “Ayo Mondok” Movement is part of the pesantren's response to modernity. In the modern era like this, there are still many Muslim societies in Indonesia that make pesantren a reference for formal and informal educational institutions. Indeed, initially the pesantren was only traditional and only aimed to explore the science of religion. However, along with the modernization of the times, Islamic boarding schools have not only become institutions to explore religious sciences but also general science. This paper explains the history and development of pesantren, and how the system of pesantren education answers the challenges of modernity. To get the desired results, the research library was chosen by researchers as the research method in this study. The results of this study reveal that Islamic boarding schools are a gathering place for santri to get religious knowledge from a cleric. The beginning of the pesantren was only a simple hut which was built as a makeshift with the aim of getting closer to the kyai or the teacher intended for the purposes of studying religion. While the system of pesantren education is still using the book of salaf or more familiarly called kitab kuning. Di era modern seperti ini, masyarakat Muslim di Indonesia masih banyak yang menjadikan pesantren sebagai rujukan lembaga pendidikan formal maupun informal. Memang pada awalnya pesantren hanya bersifat tradisional dan hanya bertujuan untuk mendalami ilmu agama saja. Akan tetapi seiring dengan modernisasi zaman, pesantren tidak hanya menjadi lembaga untuk mendalami ilmu agama saja tetapi juga ilmu umum. Tulisan ini menjelaskan tentang sejarah dan perkembangan pesantren, dan bagaimana sistem pendidikan pesantren menjawab tantangan modernitas. Untuk mendapatkan hasil yang diinginkan, maka library research dipilih oleh peneliti sebagai metode penelitian dalam studi ini. Hasil dari kajian ini mengungkapkan bahwa pesantren merupakan tempat berkumpulnya para santri untuk mendapatkan ilmu agama dari seorang kyai. Awal mula pesantren hanya berupa pondok sederhana yang dibangun seadanya dengan tujuan untuk mendekatkan diri kepada kyai atau guru yang dituju untuk keperluan menimba ilmu agama. PENANAMAN NILAI-NILAI PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER DISIPLIN PADA SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR

This study aims to describe the implementation of disciplinary character education in elementary schools and is expected to be able to find policies that support the success of character education. This type of research uses a qualitative approach. The study was conducted at SDN 29 Lubuk Alung, with the subject of principals, teachers, and students. Data is collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data validity checking technique used is the triangulation technique. The results showed that in carrying out disciplinary character education at SDN 29 Lubuk Alung through six policies, namely (1) making character education programs, (2) establishing school rules and class rules, (3) doing Dhuha prayer and Dhuhur prayer in congregation, ( 4) making affective posts in each class, (5) monitoring the discipline behavior of students at home through a daily activity logbook, (6) involving parents (7) involving the school committee.Keywords: Discipline Character Education, Elementary School

Effective leadership is based on those they lead (conditions and situations). The leadership in Islamic educational institutions will be very effective in accordance with the conditions and situations that arise at the time. There is no effective leadership style but with the situation and the growing conditions. In the management of Islamic educational institutions must have some component of the right to produce a proper and prudent performance include planning, organizing, actuating, dan controlling.

Berbagai masalah pendidikan di Indonesia seperti budaya mencontek, tawuran antar kelompok, bullying, pergaulan bebas, pornografi, narkoba,dan sebagainya saat ini menjadi pertanda bahwa negara ini benar- benar sedang mengalami pengeroposan sendi-sendi kebangsaan. Krisis pendidikan karakter ini perlu menjadi perhatian penting bagi seluruh masyarakat. Sejatinya, sumber daya manusia merupakan faktor terbesar dalam kemajuan bangsa. Maka, sebuah bangsa bisa hancur jika generasi penerusnya kehilangan karakter. Oleh karena itu, proses pendidikan idealnya tidak hanya menitikberatkan pada aspek kognitif saja, namun juga diperlukan keseimbangan pada ranah aspek afektif dan psikomotorik.
