As artificial intelligence (AI) increasingly engages in managing consumer interactions on e-commerce platforms, an important question arises: how do public AI-generated replies to negative reviews compare with human replies in fostering consumer trust? This study investigates consumer trust in reply source (AI review bots vs. human agents) across three reply strategies, namely, default, thinking, and feeling, in a public review context. AI review bots are defined as automated systems that publicly respond to consumer reviews. Using a controlled laboratory experiment, we find that when using the default strategy, human replies elicit greater trust than AI replies, mediated by higher perceived authenticity and persuasiveness. Conversely, when using the thinking strategy, AI replies outperform human replies in building consumer trust, as they are perceived as more authentic and persuasive. In the feeling strategy, there is a convergence between AI and human replies. These findings demonstrate that the effectiveness of AI versus human replies depends on the strategy adopted. Theoretically, this study extends research on human–AI interaction by introducing a three-strategy framework to systematically compare AI and human communicators in public review contexts. Practically, the results guide e-commerce sellers and platforms on when and how to deploy AI review bots to effectively manage consumer trust in response to negative reviews.

Soy protein, as one of the major plant proteins, has good functional properties such as solubility, emulsification and gelation properties. Freezing, as one of the effective ways to extend the storage period of products, is widely used in the food and medicine industries. However, freezing can cause changes in the secondary and tertiary structures of soy protein and further affect the functional properties of soy protein such as emulsification and gelation properties, limiting the application of soy protein in frozen foods. At present, understanding the effect of freezing on soy protein and improving its freezing stability has become a research focus, and several methods such as ultrasound, glycosylation and enzymatic crosslinking have been adopted to improve the freezing stability of soy protein. In order to gain a better understanding of the effect of freezing on functional properties of soy protein, this article focuses on the effect of freezing on the emulsification and gelation properties and structure of soy protein, and it summarizes and analyzes the methods used to improve the freezing stability of soy protein products and their mechanisms in order to provide a theoretical basis for the application of soy protein in frozen foods and the improvement of food quality.

Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo investigar o efeito da legibilidade do Relato Integrado (RI) na captação de recursos e na geração de valor em empresas do setor de energia elétrica no Brasil. Por meio de modelos de regressão linear e modelos Probit com estrutura de dados em painel, a pesquisa examinou a relação entre a legibilidade do RI, medida pelo índice de Flesch e variáveis como grau de alavancagem financeira (GAF), ratings de crédito, oferta pública de ações (IPO e Follow-on) e o valor das empresas (com o Q de Tobin como proxy). A amostra consistiu em 23 empresas listadas na B3, abrangendo um período de 10 anos (2013 a 2022). Os resultados indicam que, para a amostra investigada, a legibilidade não está relacionada com a captação de recursos e geração de valor. Conjecturamos que esses resultados podem estar relacionados a fatores específicos do cenário analisado, como país, setor e período. Este estudo contribui para a compreensão da avaliação do conteúdo do RI no mercado brasileiro e contribui para o debate junto a estudos internacionais, destacando a legibilidade como um aspecto que diverge de estudos anteriores, sendo desconsiderado por investidores e credores no setor de energia elétrica no Brasil.

تتميز بيئة الأعمال الحالية لأغلب الشركات بمنظور ثابت هو التغير، حيث القاعدة الوحيدة في النمو والتطور والبقاء هي اقتناص الفرص، وفي هذه البيئة ازداد عدد الشركات بشكل لم يسبق له مثيل وأصبح تعزيز الاداء التسويقي لهذه الشركات الهدف المهم. حيث هدفت الدراسة على ضوء مشكلة البحث الى تشخيص وتحليل العلاقات المتداخلة بين عملية التسويق الريادي وتأثيرها على الأداء التسويقي وتم صياغة فرضيات الدراسة من خلال استقراء الدراسات السابقة والواقع الميداني، وتم اعتماد استمارة استبيان معدة لهذا الغرض وجرى تحليل البيانات باستخدام وتمثلت اهم استنتاجات الدراسة ان المنظمات عينة الدراسة تعطي اهتمام كبيرا ،SPSS V.20 برضا الزبائن وهذا ما فسرته نتائج التحليل. وخلصت الدراسة الى تقديم بعض المقترحات منها تعزيز دور الجهات الحكومية في الاقليم لدعم المنظمات الريادية من خلال الدعم المستمر لها وإدراك أهميتها في هذا المجال إذا أخذنا بالاعتبار نمو المنظمات وتطورها في المستقبل.

Today, one of the countries where Turkish language teaching is common is the Republic of North Macedonia, located in the Balkan peninsula. Many ethnic communities live in North Macedonia. Macedonians, Albanians, Turks, Bosnians, Serbs, Vlachs and Romani constitute the different ethnic national structure of North Macedonia. As in many countries of the Balkans, Turks living in North Macedonia have preserved their mother tongue, culture and traditions. In addition, ethnic groups in North Macedonia were given the right to education in their mother tongue, and thus education and training in Turkish continued. Since Turkish was the language of education, science, art and commerce in this region during the Ottoman period, it has been able to maintain its influence and existence until today. The speakers of Turkish as a heritage language in this region are not only Turks. Other ethnic groups (Romani, Bosnian, Serbian, Vlach, Torbesh, Bulgarian), especially Albanians, are both carriers and protectors of Turkish as a heritage language. In the Balkan geography, where linguistic and cultural heritage is a richness that creates mutual understanding, Skopje is one of the places where individuals from different cultures and ethnic origins come together. The aim of this study is to reveal the socio-cultural role of Turkish in intercultural interaction in Skopje. Today, the existence of Turkish as a heritage language in the Balkans, especially in Skopje, is influenced not only by the Turks in the region, but also by the existence of other ethnic groups. In the study, non-interactive qualitative research design was used. In this study, it is aimed to define the existence of Turkish in Skopje and to evaluate it within the scope of heritage language. In this context, it is thought that the study will contribute to the field by adding new and different dimensions to the concept of heritage language due to the presence of Turkish in the Balkans.

Purpose – This study estimates impact of remittances from internal migration on households' use of bank services in Vietnam. Design/methodology/approach – This study uses data from the Vietnam Household Living Standards Survey and the two-stage least squares method (2SLS). Findings – The results show that receiving internal remittance increases households' probability of having bank accounts and using card services. However, these impacts are different between rural and urban areas. Research limitations/implications – The results of this study reveal the useful role of internal remittance in increasing the probability of households using bank services, thereby enhancing financial inclusion in Vietnam. Originality/value – Different from the previous studies, the purpose of this paper is to analyse the impact of internal remittance on the use of bank services in Vietnam at the household level. This paper targets internal migration because it is the main type of migration in Vietnam. Besides, to the best of the authors’ knowledge, this research is the first one that compares the role of internal remittance on households' use of bank services in rural and urban areas in Vietnam.

The article discusses the theoretical foundations of the development of global e-commerce in the processes of globalization. The analysis of the definition of the concept of e-commerce, identified its varieties. The authors investigated the main trends that have developed in the e-commerce market, and provide statistical indicators. In addition, the factors that influence the process of development and distribution of e-commerce in the world are identified. Also highlighted the main problems that do not allow the process of distribution of e-commerce technology to develop the maximum rate.

ABSTRACT The economic and social gains from electronic commerce (e-commerce) that promote innovation, industry upgrading and economic growth have been widely discussed. China’s successful experience with e-commerce has had a positive effect in transforming consumer-goods sectors of the economy and motivating economic reform. This article looks at how e-commerce reduces barriers to entry and enables firms to move up the value chain by using the global value chain framework to analyse the impact of e-commerce on the upgrading trajectories and governance structures of China’s apparel industry. For large Chinese brands, e-commerce has enabled end-market diversification. For small- and medium-sized enterprises, e-commerce has facilitated entry with functional upgrading as well as end-market upgrading. In the “two-sided markets” created by platform companies, the “engaged consumers” are the demand side of this market, and “e-commerce focused apparel firms” are the supply side of the new market. Consumers and platforms are more directly involved in value creation within this emerging internet-based structure.
