The Characteristics of Partnerships Addressing Complex Challenges: A Thematic Synthesis of Case Studies of Collective Action

Purpose: This paper reports the findings of a thematic synthesis of 11 case studies, in which two or more individuals or groups work in partnership, purposefully utilising social capital to engage in collective action towards a positive societal and/or environmental purpose. From the synthesis, a conceptual model is offered to support understanding of the characteristics of effective partnerships that may contribute to addressing complex global problems. Approach: The methodology used is a thematic synthesis, based on Thomas and Harden’s approach to synthesising multiple case studies in the field of medical research. We adapted their method to the formation of general social theory. Findings: The conceptual model posits the presence of six characteristics of partnership, which occur in different combinations and to differing extents as mediated by the context, that contribute to a partnership’s capacity to exchange social capital in order to address complex problems. Originality/Value: As society faces an increasingly complex set of global challenges, and as patterns of human behaviour become more individualistic, it will be increasingly important for the concept of partnerships to inform how organisations contribute positively to social outcomes. The conceptual model for the characteristics of partnerships in addressing complex challenges is a means to generate new understanding of this topic, and from which new organisational practices may develop.

Determinants Of Organizational Transformation, Corporate Culture, On Corporate Performance Mediated By Organizational Citizenship Behavior At PT. Angkasa Pura Aviasi

This study aims to identify and analyze the determinants of Organizational Transformation and Corporate Culture on Corporate Performance with Organizational Citizenship Behavior as an intervening variable at PT Angkasa Pura Aviasi. The sample in this study was determined using the Slovin formula, resulting in a total of 232 employees of PT Angkasa Pura Aviasi as respondents. Data collection techniques used in this study included questionnaires and interviews, while the research approach was quantitative and employing SEM-PLS statistical analysis. The data was processed using SmartPLS 3.3.3 software. The results of the study demonstrate that Organizational Transformation has a direct positive and significant effect on Corporate Performance with a path coefficient value of 0.873, P-Values = 0.000, T-statistic = 32.568. Corporate Culture also has a direct positive and significant effect on Corporate Performance with a path coefficient value of 0.157, P-Values = 0.002, T-statistic = 2.935. The influence of Organizational Transformation on Organizational Citizenship Behavior shows a path coefficient value of 0.180, P-Values = 0.000, and T-statistic = 7.256. The influence of Corporate Culture on Organizational Citizenship Behavior has a path coefficient value of 0.157, P-Values = 0.000, and T-statistic = 3.6374. The influence of Organizational Transformation on Corporate Performance through Organizational Citizenship Behavior shows a path coefficient value of -0.009, P-Values = 0.248, and T-statistic = 0.681. The influence of Corporate Culture on Corporate Performance through Organizational Citizenship Behavior shows a path coefficient value of -0.042, P-Values = 0.236, and T-statistic = 0.721. Finally, the influence of Organizational Citizenship Behavior on Corporate Performance shows a path coefficient value of -0.052, P-Values = 0.235, and T-statistic = 0.722. مؤلفه‌های فرهنگی بروز قتل‌های زنجیره‌ای

این پژوهش، باهدف بررسی مؤلفه‌های فرهنگی در بروز قتل‌های زنجیره‌ای و نقش پلیس در فرهنگ‌سازی عمومی و کنترل آن انجام شده است. قتل‌های زنجیره­ای، به‌عنوان یکی از معضلات اجتماعی موجب سلب امنیت و آرامش ذهنی و روانی جامعه می‌شود و با توجه به آثار سوء و مخربی که این‌گونه قتل‌ها بر سطح اجتماع و امنیت محیط می‌گذارند، استقرار بافت فرهنگی مثبت با نقش هنجارساز، ابزاری برای آگاهی‌­بخشی یک اجتماع محسوب می‌گردد. در پژوهش حاضر، به­‌روش توصیفی-تحلیلی مشخص شد که عوامل فردی و محیطی دو بخش مهم و اساسی علل رفتارهای مجرمانه هستند و فرهنگ به­‌دلیل دارابودن نقش بسترساز برای توسعۀ هنجارهای حقوقی می‌تواند در کاهش عوامل جرم‌زا بسیار مؤثر واقع شود. علاوه‌­بر این، نقش مثبت پلیس در رشد و توسعۀ مؤلفه‌های فرهنگی یک جامعۀ به­‌هنجار می‌تواند تأثیرات مطلوبی درجهت تدابیر پیشگیرانۀ فرهنگی و اجتماعی داشته باشد. همچنین، این نهاد قادر خواهد بود تا با شناخت علل و عوامل وقوع جرائم و به‌تبع آن با اجرای تمهیدات سیاست‌های کیفری و جرم‌زدایی با بهره‌گیری از علم جرم‌شناسی تا حدودی کنترل محیط را در دست بگیرد.

وضعیت اجتماعی-فرهنگی بازنشستگان نیروی انتظامی

هدف این پژوهش، بررسی وضعیت اجتماعی-فرهنگی موجود بازنشستگان نیروی انتظامی و شناسایی مسائل و مشکلات آن­ها بود. این پژوهش از روش ترکیبی (کیفی-کمی)، از نوع طرح اکتشافی سود برده است. در مرحلۀ اول (کیفی)، 25 بازنشسته به ­روش نمونه‌گیری هدفمند و براساس اشباع نظری، از طیف‌های مختلف جهت انجام مصاحبه، انتخاب شدند. در مرحلۀ دوم (کمی)، براساس رمزگذاری و تدوین مضامین اطلاعات حاصل از مصاحبه‌ها، پرسشنامه‌ای تدوین شد. سپس، طبق روش نمونه‌گیری تصادفی ساده و تمام­‌شمار، از بین تمامی بازنشستگان یکی از یگان‌های نیروی انتظامی در سراسر کشور، با توجه به فرمول کوکران، تعداد 338 نفر از 2149 نفر حجم نمونه، برای شرکت در پژوهش برگزیده شدند. پایایی پرسشنامه، با استفاده از روش آلفای کرونباخ به‌­میزان 87% محاسبه گردید و روایی آن با کسب نظرصاحب­‌نظران، اساتید و همچنین ازطریق بررسی ادبیات موضوع این حوزه تأیید شد. نتایج بخش کمی، درقالب جداول توصیفی و با استفاده از آزمون‌ آماری تی‌ ­تست مستقل مورد بررسی قرار گرفت. براساس یافته‌های این پژوهش،  وضعیت اجتماعی-فرهنگی بازنشستگان با میانگین 34/2 درحد نسبتاً مطلوب قرار دارد، اما ایده‌­آل نیست. پاسخگویان، ویژگی بزرگ متمایز اجتماعی-فرهنگی خود را در دوران بازنشستگی، فرد مورد وثوق و اعتماد اهالی محل اعلام نمودند. علاوه‌­بر این، عمده مشکلات اجتماعی-فرهنگی خود را برخوردی نامناسب هنگام مراجعه به سازمان جهت انجام امور اداری و متناسب‌­نبودن نوع مشاغل پیشنهاد­ شده به یک فرد بازنشسته اعلام کردند

Saadi's poetry and its effect on the Persian letters of Maulana Khalid Naqshbandi

Introduction Maulana Khalid Naqshbandi (1243 1193 AH) is the head of the Naqshbandi Way in Kurdistan and one of the famous writers and poets of the twelfth century AH, whose works have a deep connection with Persian poetry and literature. And many cultural components of Iran have emerged in these works Maulana Khalid completed his religious studies in different cities of Kurdistan. But after a while he turned to mysticism and SufismAnd by traveling to India and receiving the Naqshbandiyya way from Sheikh Abdullah Dehlavi and republishing it in different regions, it caused many religious, cultural and literary changes in Kurdistan and the Middle East. The emergence of the Naqshbandiyya sect had many proponents and opponents. The emergence of these differences in the political, social, literary and cultural spheres had an important impact on Kurdistan at that time In the field of literature and culture, we see the writing of many books and treatises in the rejection or approval of Maulana Khalid by his opponents and supporters. This issue itself became a factor for a scientific and cultural movement in the region and the emergence and creation of numerous poetic and prose works.        The rivalry between Naqshbandiyya and Qadiriyya in Iraqi Kurdistan, especially in the city of Sulaymaniyah, lasted for years, and finally Maulana Khalid left the city of Sulaymaniyah for Damascus forever. He remained there until the end of his life, but continued to communicate with his successors, caliphs and followers through letters and correspondence.Throughout his cultural and religious life, he used the correspondence and writing of various epistles to educate his disciples and successors in order to maintain contact with his disciples and followers. In writing these letters, Maulana Khalid has tried to produce a literary text using the older context of the language and using many verses of famous poets in the field of Persian literature. To achieve a kind of literary victory in the literary competitions of the two ways of Qaderieh and Naqshbandiyya And by using all kinds of rhymes and using Persian poems in these letters, he can produce a magnificent text to his audience to a kind of literary pleasure and inner satisfaction. A study and analysis of the literary and intellectual layers of these letters and a description of how and why Maulana Khalid Naqshbandi was influenced by the works of Saadi Shirazi can reveal many intellectual, literary and cultural forms of these letters.   Methodology In this article, based on a descriptive-analytical approach, we have explained the reasons and grounds for the influence of Maulana Khalid's letters on Saadi's poems.This article has also examined the  connection of these letters with Saadi Shirazi's poems based on the library method. For this purpose, we have examined the 195 Persian letters of Maulana Khalid collected by Mullah Abdul Karim Modarres in the book "Yadi Mardan". So that we can show the grounds, goals and reasons of Maulana Khalid in using Saadi's poems in his letters.   Discussion Saadi's presence and his thought have always been an important issue among the elites of different nations, which can be examined in separate articles. In the field of Kurdish language and literature, Saadi's works have received more attention than any other poet, Because Golestan and Bustan Saadi have always been one of the curricula in the old schools of Kurdistan and students of religious sciences have been studying these books from an early age to learn Persian. The frequent publication of translations of Saadi's works in Kurdistan and the interest of the Kurdish community in his words should be related to this issue. In addition, Saadi's words are so comprehensiveness that, in the words of Edward Brown, "there are many things in Saadi's works according to the tastes of every high scholar, mystic and commoner" (Brown 251 1361). This comprehensiveness of the word should also be considered as another reason for Kurdish people to pay attention to Saadi's poetry.also Saadi's spirit of tolerance and avoidance of dogma and prejudice in inducing concepts and also, his short, simple and humorous expression (especially in Golestan) has made his words seem more consistent and acceptable in other multi-layered Kurdish society, which has different religions and differences, than other Persian texts. These reasons, along with Saadi's artistic, rhetorical and intellectual values, Despite the large number of translations of his works, other writers such as "Ali Bapir Agha" (1969), "Mustafa Safwat" (2005) and "Ali Nanvazadeh" (2006) have turned to Saadi's Kurdish translations.Also, part of Maulana Khalid Naqshbandi's letters dependence on Saadi's words and poetry goes back to the power of Saadi's words in convincing the audience. As mentioned, Maulana Khalid's prose letters, in addition to having emotional and lyrical aspects and expressing emotions, are a lyrical teaching set in which the author seeks to persuade the audience and pave the way for the audience to accept his teachings internally. According to what has been said, Maulana Khalid has used Saadi's poems in the following fields.  A:Using Saadi's poems in the context of advice: Saadi's collection of poems and prose is a moral collection. Maulana Khalid has also used Saadi Shirazi's poems in his letters whenever he wants to present an educational and legal subject to the audience in an artistic way that contains a kind of rhetorical persuasion.  B:Using Saadi's poems in the context of warnings:In his educational works, Saadi, this famous Iranian poet, has benefited from the element of religion and cultural acceptance and has explicitly expressed his educational ideas, which are often expressed in a warning way. Maulana Khalid's spiritual and emotional connection with Saadi's works as well as his social status as a religious scholar Also, the promoter of the Naqshbandiyya sect in Kurdistan caused him, like Saadi, to explicitly present his educational letters, which included warnings and reprimands, to his audience and for this purpose, he has usually used Saadi poems. C:Using Saadi's poems in the theme of friendship and love: A large part of the meanings of Saadi's poems, especially in lyric poems, is the expression of lyrical themes and the expression of passion and friendship.  Therefore, Maulana Khalid quotes Saadi's poems in the letters that he calls "Honesty Letter" and "Love Letter".  D:The use of Saadi poems in the context of mysticism and Sufism: As mentioned, Saadi is a teacher of ethics, in his view, ethics leads to mysticism. But his mysticism is moderate mysticism. This Iranian poet and thinker brought to the earth a mysticism that was out of reach and located in the heavens. He tried to make this mysticism available to ordinary people. At a time when some of the mystic authors considered non-Sufi people arrogantly, \"inhabitants of the valley of ignorance\", "Ahl al-Nafs\", Saadi is not afraid to turn to ordinary people and instill in them a tendency to discover the truth. These intellectual characteristics have caused a professional Sufi writer like Maulana Khalid Naqshbandi to pay much attention to the texts left by Saadi to express his thoughts And always use these poems in writing his letters, even in the field of mysticism and Sufism.   Conclusion One of the most important reasons for Maulana Khalid's use of Saadi's poems is the connection of educational and cultural centers of Kurdistan from ancient times with Persian language and literature. And Saadi Shirazi has a special position in this. From the point of view of different periods in the history of literature in Iran, this period is considered as a "period of literary return". The poets and writers of this period took their poetic and literary patterns from Iraqi style poets such as Saadi and Hafez. Maulana Khalid is not exception to this rule, and a part of the connection between his works and his letters With Saadi's poems should be related to the stylistic and literary conditions of this period. In addition, Maulana Khalid has tried to use his "written background and cultural beliefs" in society to bring his audience to a form of inner satisfaction. In Iranian culture, part of these cultural beliefs and written background is related to the artistic and literary creativity of Persian language and literature poets, which plays an important role in convincing the audience. Maulana Khalid has tried to produce a literary text by using the older context of the language as well as the verses of poets of Persian language and literature, including Saadi Shirazi In addition to having educational and guidance themes in the field of mysticism and Sufism, that poem should have an artistic and literary aspect. Who can use this artistic aspect to achieve a kind of immortality and Eloquency. Maulana Khalid has used Saadi's poems to express various goals and intentions That Among them, we can mention topics such as advice, warning and warning, expression of friendship and the breadth of love, mysticism and Sufism.

نقش HSE (ایمنی، بهداشت و محیط‌زیست) در نت نیروهای مسلح (موردمطالعه: فرماندهی انتظامی همدان)

هدف این پژوهش، بررسی نقش HSE (ایمنی، بهداشت و محیط‌زیست) در نت نیروهای مسلح در راستای توسعۀ پایدار و افزایش بهره‌وری است. جامعۀ آماری این پژوهش 33 نفر از کارکنان شاغل در معاونت آماد و پشتیبانی ف.ا.ا. همدان بود، که با روش نمونه‌گیری خوشه‌ای به‌عنوان نمونۀ آماری انتخاب شدند. این پژوهش ازنظر روش‌شناسی، توصیفی از نوع همبستگی است و بر اساس زمان جمع‌آوری داده‌ها، از نوع پژوهش‌های مقطعی بود. جهت نرمال بودن داده‌ها از آزمون کولموگروف–اسمرینوف(k-s) استفاده شد. داده‌های جمع‌آوری‌شده با نرم‌افزار spss نسخۀ20 تجزیه‌وتحلیل شدند و با تدوین ابزار پرسشنامه، نسبت به اجرای آن اقدام شد. نتایج پژوهش حاکی از این است که بین نقش HSE در نت نیروهای مسلح رابطه وجود دارد. در ارتباط با رابطۀ بین HSE در نت نیروهای مسلح سازمان باید اهداف بهداشت شغلی و ایمنی مدونی در هر بخش و سطحی در درون خود که مرتبط باشد، ایجاد کرده و برقرار نگهدارد و هنگام تعیین و بازنگری اهداف خود الزامات قانونی و سایر الزامات، خطرات (عوامل زیان‌آور) بهداشتی ـ ایمنی و ریسک‌ها، گزینه‌های فن‌آوری، الزامات مالی و عملیاتی و بازرگانی خود و نیز نظرات طرف‌های ذینفع را در نظر گیرد.

Y Kuşağı Bilgi Çalışanları: Duygusal Zeka ile Örgütsel Bağlılık İlişkisi Üzerinde Öz-Yeterliliğin Rolü

Bu araştırma, Y Kuşağı bilgi çalışanlarının duygusal zekâları ile örgütsel bağlılıkları ilişkisi üzerinde öz-yeterlilik düzeylerinin etkisini inceleyen bir model sunmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemini, Ankara ilindeki üç üniversitede yer alan tekno-parklarda bulunan 37 teknoloji şirketinde görev yapan 591 Y Kuşağı bilgi çalışanı oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma verileri anket tekniği kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Araştırma değişkenlerinin ölçülmesinde Duygusal Zekâ,  Öz-yeterlilik ve Örgütsel Bağlılık ölçekleri kullanılmıştır. Ölçeklerin geçerlilikleri doğrulayıcı faktör analizi ile test edilmiştir. Değişkenler arasındaki ilişkiyi belirlemek için korelasyon analizi, aracılık rolünü tespit etmek için ise yapısal eşitlik modellemesinden yararlanılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular Y Kuşağı bilgi çalışanlarının duygusal zekâlarının öz-yeterlilik ve örgütsel bağlılıklarını olumlu yönde etkilediğini göstermektedir. Y Kuşağı bilgi çalışanlarının öz-yeterlilikleri ile örgütsel bağlılıkları arasında olumlu ve anlamlı bir ilişki tespit edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak, Y Kuşağı bilgi çalışanlarının duygusal zekâlarının örgütsel bağlılıkları üzerindeki etkisinde öz-yeterlilik düzeylerinin tam aracılık etkisine sahip olduğu belirlenmiştir.

A Pattern of Competency - Oriented Compensation System of Employees

The purpose of this research is to propose a competency-Compensation Assessment System Through Succession Planning. Having reviewed the research literature as well as experts' opinions, the primary model was proposed and then, the final research model was presented using the experts' opinions. The study was carried out via mixed methods research. The statistical population included the experts and academic specialists in the field of human resources and senior managers of Bank Saderat Iran in the qualitative section and experts and managers at various levels of Bank Saderat in the quantitative section. Non-judgmental purposive sampling and random stratified sampling were employed in the qualitative and quantitative sections respectively. In the qualitative section, 17 persons participated in the interview and in the quantitative section, 400 persons participated as the research sample. Tools of data collection were interview and researcher self-made questionnaire. Reliability of the questionnaire was calculated equal to 0.93 and its validity was approved. The results of the survey in the qualitative section illustrate that there are 25 components for competency-oriented compensation system in five dimensions including competency, foresight, flexibility, justice, and comprehensiveness. In the quantitative section, the findings showed that competency has the highest effect on employees' competency-oriented compensation. Likewise, among the secondary components in the subset of competency dimension, "absorption, retaining and development of organization's talents" has the highest effect on employees' competency-oriented compensation system. T-statistic of this component is equal to 11.82 and its path coefficient is equal to 0.8.

Building a Caring Democracy: Four Cornerstones for an Integrated Progressive Agenda

Why do people vote for “strong” leaders who condone violence, debase women, and stoke fear and scapegoating? If free elections alone are not the answer, what will it take to build a caring democracy that promotes the wellbeing and full development of all people? This paper examines these questions from a perspective that takes into account the connection between politics and economics, on one hand, and what children first experience and observe in their family and other intimate relations, on the other. It describes the study of relational dynamics, a multidisciplinary method of analysis that reveals social categories that transcend conventional ones: the partnership system and the domination system. It looks at modern history through the lens of the partnership-domination social scale, focusing on the struggle between the movement toward partnership and regressions to domination. It compares the integrated regressive worldview and political agenda with the fragmented progressive one. It identifies four cornerstones for partnership or domination systems: family/childhood, gender, economics, narratives/language. It then details how to build these cornerstones so they support a more humane, caring, and sustainable future, and provides practical resources for this urgent task.

The Moderating Effect of Helping Behavior on the Relationship Between Ingratiation and Supervisor Satisfaction

This study investigates the combined effect of ingratiation and helping behavior on supervisor satisfaction in the workplace. Based on a sample of 168 supervisors and 453 employees working in Pakistan’s hospitality sector, we find that the effect of ingratiation is insignificant at lower levels of helping behavior. However, the relationship between ingratiation and supervisor satisfaction becomes significant as helping behavior increases. This suggests that a combination of ingratiation and helping tactics is more effective in achieving supervisor satisfaction than relying on a single influence tactic.

Expressing the Role of Personality Aspects on Networking Behavior

Communicational networks have an essential role in managers's successful innovation. As people in organizations have more communicational skills, they can reach more success. With this paper, we try to evalute the impact of extraversion, consistency and openness to experience-which are essential aspects of personality- on networking behavior. Research method was descriptive-exploratory method and also it was applicable one. For gathering data, questionnaire was used and research validity and  relaiability  was testified by content validity, construct validity and then alpha  cronbache. The population of this research were the representatives of  Karafarin  insurance company in Mashhad which has 120 personnel. The sampling method was randome simple sampling. To analyze the data of different methods of statistical analysis, such as Pearson correlation analysis was used. Results show that extraversion, consistency and openness to experience influence networking  behavior. extraversion aspect has more impact on developing networking communication. Consistency aspect influences networking communication usage and maintenance. Also this is true about openness to experience.

Investigation the Relationship Between Organizational Virtuousness and Organizational Citizenship Behavior

The aim of this study was evaluating the relationship between Organizational Virtuousness and Organizational Citizenship Behavior of Rasht Municipalities’ employees. The research method in terms of purpose applied and in terms of method was descriptive research and correlation type, and required data have been collected using questionnaires and survey method. Rasht Municipalities’ Managers and experts (257 people) were selected as the target population and the sample size was set equal to 154 by using Cochran's formula. The gathered Questionnaires and data were analyzed by SPSS Software through simple linear and multiple regression tests. The results showed that there was a positive significant relationship (correlation coefficient 60.3) between organizational virtue and citizenship behavior of employees of municipality districts of Rasht. Moreover, investigating aspects of organizational virtue with citizenship behavior showed that optimism (17.1), compassion (20.5), honesty (27.9), and generosity (14.4) could explain organizational citizenship behavior of municipality districts of Rasht.

Organizational Justice and its Effects on Employees Voice and Performance

The purpose of this paper is to examine the effects of organizational justice on employee voice and also their effects on employee performance. Thus, we first described organizational voice and justice and their dimensions. Also, by reviewing the literature we have provided the appropriate assumptions. Next, we collected data from target community to investigate hypothesis. Data collection tool was a questionnaire and the sample size was 257 employees and faculty members from Guilan university. Then, using exploratory factor analysis we identified the dimensions of organizational justice and voice. Organizational justice was compromised of three dimensions that includes distributive, procedural and interactional justice. Also, it was determined three dimensions for organizational voice that includes acquiescent, defensive and prosocial voice. Then, using confirmatory factor analysis and path analysis technique we examined hypothesis. The results show that the three dimensions of organizational justice has a significant influence on prosocial voice but they have no significant influence on acquiescent and defensive voice. Also, the results show that three types of organizational justice effect on employee performance.

Measuring Internet Banking Service Quality in India: An Empirical Study

The measurement of Internet banking services is a key management activity that provides information necessary for making effective decisions, monitoring performance, and allocating resources effectively. In this context, the E-S-QUAL scale is widely used to measure service quality in various service industries. This study attempts to measure Internet banking service quality in India based on data collected from a sample of 274 respondents through nonprobability-based convenience sampling. In order to test the reliability of the scale and determine if there are significant differences between respondents’ demographic variables and factors related to E-S-QUAL, we employ Cronbach’s alpha (reliability test), the t-test, ANOVA, and correlation analysis. Our preliminary analysis indicates that, in terms of internal consistency/reliability, the E-S-QUAL (when applied to India) performs just as a scale measuring service quality should. The findings suggest there are no significant differences across respondents relating to gender and age, but there is a significant difference where income is concerned. There is a high and strong level of correlation between the factors of service quality.
