Pemikiran Pendidikan Akhlak Ibnu Miskawaih dan Relevansinya pada Pendidikan Islam Kontemporer

This articel purpose to explain the concept of moral education with today’s education is inseparable from each other. Morality is very important in the study of Islam. Morality is a psychological condition that causes people to act impulsively and without careful planning, or consideration. The aim of this study is to determine whether Ibn Miskawaih’s moral education is still valid in today’s education. The data sources used are books, scientific journals, and records. The method used is qualitative with the type of research (kepustakaan). The findings of this study show that education is a process of forming human character towards a virtue, a correction of evil, and the process of improving. Ibn ‘Abbas emphasized more on moral education for human development, that is, the development of the soul with priorities comparable to the physics of pleasure, wealth, and power. Thus Ibn Miskawaih’s thought, he stated that if a person’s education is higher then his character will also be better.   Abstrak: Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan Konsep Pendidikan akhlak dengan pendidikan masa kini tidak dapat dipisahkan satu sama lain. Akhlak sangat penting dalam kajian islam. Moralitas adalah kondisi psikologis yang menyebabkan orang bertindak secara impulsif dan tanpa perencanaan, atau pertimbangan yang hati-hati. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan apakah pendidikan moral Ibnu Miskawaih masih berlaku dalam pendidikan saat ini. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitataif dengan penelitian library research dengan sumber data berdasarkan studi literatur. Sumber utama yang digunakan dalam hal ini penelitiannya adalah buku Pendidikan Etika Ibnu Miskawaih. Sedangkan sumber sementara yang sekunder adalah jurnal, berita sumber-sumber yang berkaitan dengan permasalahan yang akan terjadi dibahas. Hasil temuan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan, pendidikan adalah suatu proses pembentukan karakter manusia menuju suatu kebajikan, suatu koreksi keburukan, dan proses perbaikan menjadi lebih baik. Ibnu miskawaih lebih menekankan pendidikan moral untuk pembangunan manusia, yaitu pengembangan jiwa dengan keutamaan sebanding dengan jasmani kesenangan, kekayaan, dan kekuasaan. Dengan demikian pemikiran Ibnu Miskawaih, ia menyatakan jika pendidikan seseorang lebih tinggi maka karakternya juga akan lebih baik. ANALISIS LITERATUR: MUTU PENDIDIKAN ISLAM DITINJAU DARI PRAKTIK DUALISME PENDIDIKAN NASIONAL

This article investigates the quality of Islamic education in the practice of dualism in Indonesia. This dichotomy is related to differences in the quality of Islamic education, as well as its implications for graduates of Islamic education institutions in the field. Through literature research, it shows that dualism in the management and implementation of Islamic education in Indonesia creates significant challenges, including non-uniformity in educational standards, an imbalance between religious education and general knowledge, as well as gaps in the quality of education between institutions. However, this article also identifies efforts to overcome this dualism, such as curriculum integration programs and capacity building for education managers. By analyzing quality in the dualistic dynamics of Islamic education management, this article provides valuable insight for education stakeholders, including the government, educational institutions, and the wider community, to develop a more holistic and integrated strategy in improving the quality and relevance of Islamic education in Indonesia

Transformasi Sistem Pendidikan Formal Pesantren

This study explores the transformation of formal education in pesantren following the enactment of Law Number 18 of 2019 on Pesantren, which formally integrates pesantren into Indonesia's national education system. As one of Indonesia's oldest educational institutions, pesantren faces significant challenges in aligning its traditional Islamic curriculum with national education standards despite a robust legal framework. This issue is critical since the limited recognition of pesantren diplomas hinders graduates' access to higher education and employment opportunities. However, with the right support and recognition, these graduates have the potential to significantly contribute to the future of Islamic education in Indonesia. Employing a descriptive-qualitative approach with juridical analysis, this research examines the regulatory changes and their implementation in pesantren. The findings reveal that while pesantren have adopted formal education models such as the Mu'adalah curriculum, Pendidikan Diniyah Formal (PDF), and Ma'had Aly, the practical application of these models still faces challenges, particularly in aligning with regulatory standards. The government's immediate and robust support is crucial to address these challenges. It must enhance oversight, provide sustainable funding, and strengthen professional development for pesantren educators. This study underscores the need for inclusive policies that empower pesantren to preserve their Islamic traditions while improving the employability and competitiveness of their graduates. Additionally, it recommends that pesantren adopt adaptive strategies in curriculum design and human resource management. The findings highlight Pesantren's critical role in balancing Islamic educational heritage with modern educational demands, contributing significantly to Indonesia's national education development.

Pendidikan Antikorupsi Sebagai Pendidikan Karakter Di Sekolah

ABSTRAKBerbagai upaya pemberantasan korupsi di Indonesia, termasuk pembentukanKomisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) pada tahun 2002 yang telah banyak mengungkap Internasional; nomor 100 dari 183 negara di dunia pada tahun 2011. Cara lainuntuk memberantas korupsi adalah dengan melaksanakan pendidikan antikorupsi secara formal disekolah, yang memiliki beberapa keunggulan seperti rendahnya anggaran yang dibutuhkan dankesinambungan dan sistematisasi program. Pendidikan antikorupsi sudah masuksebenarnya bagian dari kurikulum pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PKn). Namun, ituimplementasinya belum mencapai hasil yang diharapkan, khususnya di negara-negara berkembangsikap dan karakter korupsi. Pelajarannya terbatas padapenyampaian informasi secara verbal, tanpa memberikan kesempatan kepada siswa untuk berkembangpengetahuan dan penalaran logis tentang dimensi amoral korupsi. IniArtikel tersebut menjelaskan bahwa pendidikan formal antikorupsi merupakan pendidikan yang pentingkebijakan yang tidak dapat ditunda lagi. Ini adalah investasi untuk mencegah korupsidalam jangka panjang. E-Comic Oriented to Environmental Care Character Education with Natural Science Content

Students need to be more concerned about their environment, which is one of the hot problems in the world of education today. This research aims to develop a comic oriented towards character education that cares about the environment. This type of research is developed using the ADDIE model. The research subjects were two learning material experts and two learning media experts. The trial subjects were two teachers and nine students in small group trials. Data collection methods use observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The data collection instrument is a questionnaire. The techniques used to analyze the data are qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis and inferential statistics. The research results, the assessment given by learning material experts, were 0.95 (very high). The assessment from learning media experts is 0.92 (very high). The teacher's response was 97.33 (very good). The results of the small group trial were 97.03% (very practical). The t-test results showed a significant difference in students' environmental care attitudes before and after learning using e-comics oriented towards environmental care character education. It was concluded that using e-comic media oriented towards environmentally caring character education effectively increased students' environmentally caring attitudes.

Technological, pedagogical, and content knowledge of diploma in professional education graduates teaching biology

Content, pedagogy, and technology knowledge are central to effective teaching. Moreover, the interaction and integration of these knowledge bases challenge teachers, especially non-teacher education graduates including diploma professional education (DPE) graduates. Utilising adapted instruments, this study investigated the teaching competence of biology teachers who are DPE graduates, specifically their Technological, Pedagogical, Content Knowledge (TPACK) and Biology teaching competence to design a teacher professional development (TPD) programme. Most teachers were BS Nursing graduates with professional teaching licenses and teaching experience ranging from 3 to 10 years. Also, most teachers received between one to five TPDs focused on biology, pedagogy, and technology. Among the TPACK components, the teachers perceived that they were least competent in pedagogical knowledge (PK) and pedagogical content knowledge (PCK). Although the teachers agreed on their perceived overall TPACK competence, there is still an avenue to strengthen their TPACK. Teachers also believed that they were least competent in biological cellular processes. Need-based teacher professional development programmes are recommended to enhance Biology teachers’ TPACK, and ultimately, biology education.

EFL students' deadlock in argumentative writing: Voices in gender perspective

Writing difficulty and constraints have gained much attention nowadays, particularly in the EFL context. However, the writing difficulties of EFL male and female writers perceived in developing an argumentative essay were still under-researched. To fill the void, this concurrent mixed method study aimed to scrutinize the variation and frequency and explore the perceptions of being argumentative writers among 113 EFL university students in Jakarta, Indonesia. Online questionnaires were distributed through a survey and the framework of interpretative phenomenological analysis (IPA), and the interviews were conducted concurrently. The findings illustrated that EFL male and female writers experienced almost similar major difficulties, including argumentative text genre, language use, difficulty in source/reference, problems in the cognitive process, and other technical difficulties. Further, to be argumentative writers, female writers tend to feel various combinations of feelings and apply more learning strategies. In contrast, male writers express more on the cognitive process of essay completion. However, either male or female writers become more aware of their weaknesses in the English language, such as reading skills.

Pemanfaatan Sumberdaya IKM dalam Meningkatkan Produktivitas dan Pemasaran Produk Melalui Transformasi Digital Masyarakat Desa

Perguruan Tinggi adalah salah satu lembaga pendidikan yang membatu dan berperan aktif di dalam mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa dengan mentransfer ilmu pengetahuan atau knowledge transfer kepada lembaga-lembaga pendidikan lain, lembaga-lembaga lain baik yang setara ataupun yang berada di bawahnya, baik pendidikan formal atau non formal. Salah satu industri yang membutuhkan knowledge transfer adalah Industri Kecil Menengah (IKM). IKM yang dijadikan mitra adalah IKM milik Ibu Siti Rokhanah yang berlokasi di Kelurahan Nawangsari Kecamatan Weleri Kabupaten Kendal. Berjarak kurang lebih 60 km dari Universitas Dian Nuswantoro Semarang. IKM katering dan snak (kue tradisional) yang mengalami masalah yaitu masalah pemasaran produk, produksi katering dan snack (kue tradisional), masalah manajemen usaha dan masalah manajemen keuangan. Masalah pemasaran produk terjadi karena dilakukan dari mulut ke mulut sehingga target penjualan tidak tercapai, masalah produksi terjadi karena masih menggunakan alat memasak tradisional dan tidak adanya oven yang digunakan dalam produksi sehingga pemanasan yang tidak merata dan proses produksinya berulang-ulang, masalah manajemen usaha tidak adanya pengelolaan sumberdaya yang baik untuk jalannya sebuah industri dan masalah manajemen keuangan tidak adanya pencatatan keluar masuk keuangan sehingga tidak diketahui rugi dan labanya. Untuk membantu mengatasi keempat masalah tersebut maka diusulkan dengan memperbaiki proses pemasaran, proses produksi, proses manajemen usaha dan proses manajemen keuangan. Untuk memperbaiki keempat proses tersebut yaitu untuk pemasaran diadakan pemasaran melalui media internet, brosur, MMT dan media sosial,  untuk manajemen usaha dan manajemen keuangan dilakukan pelatihan manajemen keuangan, manajemen usaha dan pelatihan pemasangan iklan di internet dan media sosial, sedangkan untuk proses produksi pembuatan alat masak dengan penggunaan oven otomatis dengan panas merata. Hasil akhir dari Program Kemitraan Masyarakat ini adalah pemanfaatan sumberdaya Industri Kecil Menengah (IKM) dalam meningkatkan produktivitas dan pemasaran produk melalui transformasi digital masyarakat desa.

Islamic School Leadership Model: The Challenge in Digital Era

This study aims to obtain a leadership model in Islamic schools in the digital era. The principal's leadership must be able to face today's global challenges and be by the character of Islamic schools. The gap in this study related to the role of the leader is very influential on the sustainability of all activities in school institutions, and the needs of the current context provide different demands. The research method uses descriptive qualitative through surveys. Data collection techniques using observation and interviews. The research was conducted in 5 Islamic elementary schools in Ampenan Mataram District. Data analysis uses three stages, namely 1) the reduction stage is carried out by the process of data categorization and data collection. 2) The stage of presenting data, articles and observations that have been obtained is entered into a work table that has been prepared and then analyzed. 3) The conclusion drawing stage is carried out after the data analysis process is complete. The results of the study indicate that the leadership model in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in the digital era has a character that is quite by the needs in the context of globalization. The leadership characteristics possessed are transformative, managerial, collaborative, democratic, participatory, upholding morals and religious values. Leadership is also open to various changes in science and technology so that schools lead schools according to the context of the needs of the global era and digital technology

Emergent Curriculum in the Form of Creative Class in Kindergarten

The implementation of an emergent curriculum that is developed spontaneously based on children's interests needs to be balanced by a creative class so that learning in class will be very fun for children. This study aims to analyze the potential for implementing an emergent curriculum based on creative classes in kindergarten. This type of research is a qualitative case study approach with data sources derived from observations, interviews, and documentation. The unit of analysis in this study were teachers, principals, and children with a total of 210 people. The data analysis used adopted the Miles and Huberman analysis model which was carried out in four steps, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and verification or concluding. The results showed that the emergent curriculum based on creative classes in terms of indoor classes was found not to be dynamic, conducive, and ideal to be able to increase children's creativity, but the institution had used the area learning model but it was not optimal in its realization. While the outdoor class has been done neatly and beautifully, but the children have not been well organized when playing in the schoolyard, even though the development of children outdoors is good stimulation for children so that they can be stimulated in various conditions while in kindergarten institutions. -child. In addition, the classroom atmosphere has not been developed creatively and imaginatively even though many parts of the class can be maximized, such as walls being used to periodically display children's works. For this reason, principals and teachers need to be given self-development in the field of the creative classroom-based emergent curriculum so that principals and teachers can carry out the learning process in a spontaneous atmosphere but still on target and according to the interests of the child's potential.

Pengembangan Pembelajaran Matematika Siswa SMP: Koneksi Matematis Pada Realistik Mathematics Education

Abstrak. Penelitian ini menjelaskan bagaimana proses dan hasil pengembangan pengajaran matematika berbasis pendidikan matematika realistik untuk meningkatkan kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa SMP. Model pengembangan bahan ajar mengacu pada model pengembangan 4-D Thiagarajan yang memiliki 4 langkah yaitu mendefinisikan, mendesain, mengembangkan, dan menyebarluaskan. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII SMPN 2 Candi Sidoarjo. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan lembar validasi, lembar observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa, angket respons siswa, dan tes kemampuan koneksi matematika. Produk dari penelitian ini adalah rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran, lembar kerja siswa, dan tes kemampuan koneksi matematika. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa materi pembelajaran memenuhi syarat validitas, praktis, dan efektif. Hasil tes kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa meningkat berdasarkan t-tes berkorelasi dan analisis N-gain. Oleh karena itu, dimungkinkan untuk mengatakan bahwa pengembangan pengajaran matematika berdasarkan pendidikan matematika yang realistis dapat meningkatkan kemampuan koneksi matematika. Sebagai saran, guru dalam mengelola pengajaran matematika sangat diperlukan untuk mengembangkan alat yang tepat, sehingga memiliki dampak positif pada hasil belajar siswa, terutama kemampuan koneksi matematika siswa.

Arabic Language Education Program at Islamic Boarding School Ibnul Qoyyim Putri Yogyakarta: Study of Code Mixing, Code Switching, and Interference

This study aims to determine code-mixing, code-switching, and Arabic interference in the Arabic language education program at the Ibnul Qoyyim Putri Islamic Boarding School in Yogyakarta. It is based on two arguments; First, code-mixing, code-switching, and language interference are language “diseases” that are sociological and will be hereditary, especially in a particular program. So far, studies on sociolinguistics have separated code-mixing, code-switching, and interference, even though all three are interrelated. This study raises two issues: the forms of code-mixing, code-switching, and interference, and the causes of these three things. This research is qualitative research, with the methods used in this research being observation, interviews, and documentation. While the theory used is Fishman’s sociolinguistic theory of language in a socio-cultural context. The results of this study indicate that; First, code-switching that occurs in Arabic education programs  Pondok Pesantren Ibnul Qoyyim Putri Yogyakarta is a form of code-switching at the word and phrase level, while the code-mixing that occurs is at the word level. The interference that occurs includes phonological, morphological, syntactic, and semantic interference. Second, code-switching, mixing, and interference in Arabic language education programs are caused by the instructors’ lack of a correct model and inadequate mastery of Arabic theory.

Students' Learning Interest Using Computer and Android in Acid Base Teaching

This research is motivated by the influence of high technology on education; hence educators need to choose the right technology device to use and compare student learning interests with and without the support of computer and android multimedia.  It was quasi-experiment research with posttest only and non-equivalent control group designs.  The subjects of this research were the eleventh-grade students of Natural Science. There were 2 sample classes—the eleventh-grade students of Natural Science 3 (experiment I) taught using computer multimedia, and the students of Natural Science 1 (experiment II) taught using android multimedia. Interview with teachers, preliminary data test that was homogeneity test, final data test, learning interest questionnaire, interview, observation, and documentation were used to collect the data. The analysis result showed that the learning interest percentage of experiment I was 73.88% with the high category, and experiment II was 81.19% with the very high category.  An independent t-test was used to see whether there was a significant difference between experiments I and II. It showed a significant difference in chemistry learning interest between students taught by using computer-based multimedia and those taught by using android-based multimedia on the acid-based lesson of chemistry subject at the eleventh grade of Natural Science.  Therefore, Android-based learning could be developed in the learning process to support student chemistry learning interests. Industrial trainees learning experiences of English related tasks at the workplace

This study aims to examine (a) the needs and usage of English language by Industrial Trainees at their workplace, (b) the challenges they faced, and (c) the relevance of Diploma in English courses in a public university in Malaysia to their language and communication needs at the workplace. The sample consists of 55 final year Diploma in English students who had just completed their three months of industrial training at various organisations. The data was collected by means of a questionnaire and semi-structured interviews. The findings of the study indicated that English was widely used in the organisations and all the four language skills were required in conducting various tasks at the workplace. However, most of the trainees experienced difficulty in making online ticketing and online hotel reservations, holding briefings, attending to clients’ concerns and complaints, negotiating with clients to make a deal, making oral presentations, contacting with other firms, preparing the filing system, preparing flyers/brochures/posters/advertisements and preparing accounts. It is thus suggested that the essential courses especially concerning public speaking and interpersonal communication skills to be taught before the students underwent their internship. The findings of the study have some pedagogical implications. Higher education institutions that offer similar courses can make use of these findings in revising the program in line with current demands of education and the workforce. Besides, the lecturers can also rethink the way how specific courses should be taught to meet the students’ needs and allow them to explore meaningful learning through experiential learning.

Analisis perkuliahan daring mahasiswa PJKR Universitas PGRI Semarang sebagai dampak pandemi covid 19

The purpose of conducting this research is to obtain data on the form of lectures and the results of information on students' efforts to take part in online lectures on PJKR students at the University of PGRI Semarang as a covid effect 19. The research method uses quantitative descriptive using survey methods. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The subjects in this study were PJKR University PGRI Semarang students in the second, fourth and sixth semesters. Research conducted obtained the following results: (a) Aspects of the distribution of students in the second semester 47.7%, semester four 21.2% and semester six 31.1%. (b) The most widely used application aspects are Zoom 34.7%, SIP 41.2%, SPADA 1.3% and Google Classroom 22.8%. (c) The duration of online learning is more than 60 minutes 18.6%, 30 minutes to 60 minutes 64.8% and under 30 minutes 16.6%. (d) Material aspects, namely: easy to understand 71.2% and material difficult to understand 28.8%. (e) Aspects of student readiness, in the ready category of 20.9%, quite ready 52.4%, less ready 26.7%. (f) The biggest obstacle for students is challenging the signal of 58.9%, quota of 25.3%, and time of 15.8%. From the research that has been carried out it can be concluded: (1) The form of lectures conducted at the PJKR Study Program of the University of PGRI Semarang utilizes online learning platforms such as Zoom, Google Classroom, SPADA, and SIP. While for field practice lectures using video and assignment forms, (2) The efforts of students to take part in online learning are quite good with the acquisition being quite ready and the percentage is 52.4%.

The Development of Knowledge Enrichment Books Concerning Ice and Snow Physical Studies for High-School Students

This research aims to develop a knowledge-enrichment physics book of ice and snow that is worthy of use as an enrichment material on physics subject. This research is a research and development with an ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model. The developed book referred from the Central of Curriculum and Book guideline so that the developed book can be recommended as enrichment material for high-school students. The developed book uses communicative language, attractive illustrations, and information concerning ice and snow with updated science knowledge. The result by physics expert on the developed enrichment book is 94.12% with a category "very good," media expert 87.50% with a category "very good," and with the same category is also given by education expert who gave a score 92.04%. The result of the product trial test shows that students accept the developed enrichment books with "very good," which represent an average score of 90.06%. Based on the validation and product trials test, it concluded that the enrichment book titled “Ice and Snow” are worthy to be used as enrichment materials on physics.

STRATEGI PENYELESAIAN MASALAH PADA PERKULIAHAN ANATOMI TUMBUHAN UNTUK MENUMBUHKAN KETERAMPILAN BERFIKIR MELALUI IDE INOVATIF

This study aimed to describe the innovative ideas related to the concept of plant natomy and learning outcomes are achieved. This research was carried out by implementing a pattern of lecture-based problem solving. Through problem solving, students can develop the thinking process to find the problem and think about a solution, at the same time bring innovative ideas.  Indicators of thinking skills that can be used to mark the emergence and possible feasibility of innovative ideas include learning outcomes (1) formulating the proposed study plant anatomy relevant to the phenomenon that is chosen as the background of the results of the appreciation of the performance problem resolution and (2) the visibility of innovative ideas, including ( a) formulation of the problem, (b) the formulation of objectives, (c) the formulation of temporary answer, (d) the definition of the factors or variables that were examined, (e) definition of factors or variables are equal, (f) the definition of the factors or variables were observed, (g ) formulation of outcome indicators, and (h) working draft. The results obtained showed the longer experience of student learning through problem solving, the more students are able to formulate innovative ideas. There is a link between the learning outcomes concept of plant anatomy with the achievements of thinking skills are realized through innovative ideas formulated. Pengembangan Modul Mata Kuliah Penilaian Pembelajaran Sosiologi Berorientasi HOTS

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul matakuliah Penilaian Pembelajaran Sosiologi berorientasi HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills). Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) yang dikembangkan oleh Thiagarajan, Semmel, and Semmel yang meliputi tahap pendefinisian, tahap perancangan, dan tahap pengembangan. Data dikumpulkan dari penilaian dua orang pakar melalui lembar validasi ahli dan respon dari 75 mahasiswa melalui angket respon mahasiswa. Analisis data menggunakan teknik deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar dalam praktik penyusunan instrumen penilaian HOTS. Hal ini didasarkan pada penilaian ahli materi sebesar 83,33 (sangat baik) dan hasil respon mahasiswa dengan rata-rata skor sebesar 83,89 (sangat baik). Beberapa saran dari ahli meliputi aspek struktur modul, organisasi penulisan materi, dan bahasa. Saran dari mahasiswa agar contoh-contoh soal HOTS lebih diperbanyak. DEVELOPING HOTS MODULES FOR SOCIOLOGY LEARNING ASSESSMENT COURSE. Abstract: This study was aimed at developing HOTS modules for sociology learning assessment course. This research used Research and Development (R & D) design by Thiagarajan, Semmel, and Semmel, includes: define, design, and develop. The data collected from 2 experts through expert validation sheets and 75 questionnaires from students. Data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative. The results of this study indicate that module is feasible the learning materials used as a practice instrument for drafting assessment HOTS. It is based on the 83.33% expert validation and83.89% of the students respond positively toward the modules. Some advices from experts includes: the structure module, the organization of writing material, and language. Students have recommendations to make examples of HOTS’s questions many more.

KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR KRITIS MENGGUNAKAN MODEL CONTEXTUAL TEACHING AND LEARANING DI SEKOLAH DASAR

Learning activities in primary schools are still dominated by teachers, consequently the students' critical thinking skills are low. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation and improvement of students' critical thinking skills on the characteristics of wake up flat by using Contextual teaching and learning model. The results showed an improvement in the observation of students' critical thinking skills as well as aspects of teachers and students. The students' critical thinking ability in cycle I was 69 and increased in cycle II to 86. The result of observation of student aspect in cycle I was 76.75% with good qualification, and increased in cycle II to 92% with excellent qualification. It was concluded that, Contextual Teaching And Learning model can improve students' mathematical critical thinking ability. Keywords: critical thinking skills; Contextual Teaching And Learning model

PENGARUH PENAMBAHAN BERBAGAI BAHAN TAMBAHAN (SINGKONG, PEPAYA, NASI AKING) DALAM BERBAGAI PERBANDINGAN TERHADAP KUALITAS TEMPE CAMPURAN SEBAGAI MEDIA LEAFLET MATERI BIOTEKNOLOGI SMA KELAS XII

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan bahan tambahan (singkong, pepaya, nasi aking) dan perbandingannya yang paling optimal terhadap kadar protein, kadar air, dan organoleptik pada tempe campuran. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian True Experiment Design dan Studi Pengembangan. Design yang digunakan adalah Faktorial Contras Ortogonal Design. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) pola faktorial, dengan faktor pertama jenis bahan (kedelai-singkong, kedelai-pepaya, kedelai-nasi aking) dan faktor kedua perbandingan kedelai: bahan tambahan (50%:50%, 60%:40%, 70%:30%). Data berupa kadar protein, kadar air, dan organoleptik pada tempe. Teknik Analisis data yang digunakan adalah Analisis Varian Dua Faktor dan Uji Beda Jarak Nyata Duncan (BJND) 5%. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis bahan dan perbandingan tidak berpengaruh terhadap kadar protein, kadar air, dan organoleptik pada tempe campuran. Kadar protein pada keseluruhan tempe campuran masih berada di atas standar SNI yaitu minimal 16,00 %. Tempe kontrol (kedelai murni) memiliki kandungan protein paling tinggi dengan nilai 19,37%. Pada tempe campuran yang memiliki kadar protein paling tinggi yaitu tempe campuran nasi aking dengan kadar protein 18,42 %. Kadar air pada keseluruhan tempe campuran masih berada di bawah standar SNI yaitu maksimal 65,00 %. Tempe kontrol (kedelai murni) memiliki kadar air paling rendah dengan nilai 46,63%. Pada tempe campuran yang memiliki kadar air paling rendah yaitu tempe campuran nasi aking dengan kadar air 47,73 %. Bahan tambahan nasi aking berpengaruh paling baik terhadap sifat organoleptik tempe campuran yaitu dengan rerata nilai 4,93 (sangat suka).  Kata Kunci: Tempe Campuran, Bahan Tambahan, Kadar Protein, Kadar Air, Organoleptik
