The article provides a critical analysis of the relationship between the political and pedagogical approaches, grounded in practical reflection and a review of relevant literature. It identifies three key analytical points: the epistemological need to acknowledge the political nature inherent in every educational act; the realization of orientations and intentions within the pedagogical relationship; and the dynamic, interdependent connection between both fields. From this perspective, education is seen as non-neutral—a space of conflict where tensions, resistances, and opportunities for change are continually shaped. The text encourages developing epistemological perspectives that facilitate understanding educational processes as historical, situated, and deeply political.

En la tercera parte se intenta dar un paso de profundización, a la luz de un concepto que Guenther desarrolla en uno de sus artículos y que podría considerarse una expresión equivalente a la mística de lo cotidiano: atender a lo sagrado. El artículo analiza la distinción entre el ámbito de lo íntimo, lo privado y lo público trazada por Ernesto Garzón Valdés, poniendo de manifiesto la existencia de dos tipos de valoraciones implícitas en dicha caracterización: las relativas a la accesibilidad o divulgación de una conducta, y las relativas a la imposición de límites normativos a dicha conducta. A partir de ahí, y centrándose exclusivamente en el primer tipo de cuestiones, propone una manera alternativa de caracterizar el ámbito de lo íntimo, lo privado y lo público.
