Проаналізовано понад двадцять подорожніх нарисів про Італію, у яких наявні українські алюзії. Досліджено, що серед яскравих опосередкованих та прямих українських алюзій і порівнянь можна виділити такі умовні групи: 1) короткі екскурси в українську історію та окремі історичні вкраплення; 2) використання українських реалій у порівняннях, згадки про українських письменників і цитування їхніх творів, співзучних настроям авторів; 3) рефлексії щодо впливів італійської культури й мистецтва на українську; 4) сприйняття італійцями України та «українізація» західноукраїнськими авторами імен італійських митців. З’ясовано, що провідні західноукраїнські часописи першої третини ХХ ст., такі як «Літературно-Науковий Вістник», «Діло», «Новий Час», «Час» та «Назустріч», систематично публікували подорожні нариси, у яких наявні українські алюзії. Однак редакційна політика видань щодо публікації подорожніх нарисів була різною. У більшості з цих часописів друкувалися подорожні нариси різних за фахом авторів, що сприяло багатовекторності поглядів та емоційного сприйняття історичного, мистецького й духовного світу Італії, однак в «Літературно-Науковому Вістнику» та «Новому Часі» містилися подорожні есеї виключно їхніх редакторів, що суттєво звужувало широту поглядів та різноманітність емоційного тла. У подорожніх нарисах відомих учених, митців та журналістів – Михайла Грушевського, Гавриїла Костельника, Осипа Назарука, Михайла Посацького, Святослава Гординського, Григорія Смольського, Михайла Островерхи, Миколи Троцького та ін. – виразно простежуються українські алюзії, які сприяли спорідненню нашого народу та його історії з іншими народами, їхньою культурою й дозволяли українцям відчувати себе частиною європейської цивілізації.

Higher education institutions record a significant amount of data about their students, representing a considerable potential to generate information, knowledge, and monitoring. Both school dropout and educational failure in higher education are an obstacle to economic growth, employment, competitiveness, and productivity, directly impacting the lives of students and their families, higher education institutions, and society as a whole. The dataset described here results from the aggregation of information from different disjointed data sources and includes demographic, socioeconomic, macroeconomic, and academic data on enrollment and academic performance at the end of the first and second semesters. The dataset is used to build machine learning models for predicting academic performance and dropout, which is part of a Learning Analytic tool developed at the Polytechnic Institute of Portalegre that provides information to the tutoring team with an estimate of the risk of dropout and failure. The dataset is useful for researchers who want to conduct comparative studies on student academic performance and also for training in the machine learning area.

Este trabalho pretende delinear uma perspectiva ampliada sobre o fenômeno das fake news para problematizar o ambiente (des)informativo e revisionista em curso. Partimos do pressuposto que há uma proliferação cada vez mais proeminente de narrativas – que aqui definimos como “historiográfico-midiáticas” - capazes de reconfigurar o ecossistema informacional, evidenciando a conformação de novos atores, formatos e linguagens no cenário contemporâneo. Desta forma, propomos alguns olhares interpretativos sobre a produtora de conteúdo Brasil Paralelo, empresa que vêm se destacando com um reconhecido protagonismo na construção de narrativas deliberadamente revisionistas sobre a história recente brasileira. Como uma estratégia de embate político, estas narrativas serão pensadas sob um viés que as tensionem para além das notícias e do jornalismo propriamente dito, nos mostrando como a noção de (pós)“verdade” está circunscrita a uma problemática que envolve questões de ordem social, política e epistemológica, responsáveis por incitar - nos espaços comuns propiciados pelos ambientes digitais – a profusão de agendas específicas e muito bem delimitadas

[Purpose/Significance] A large number of image resources in digital humanities have not been in effective use for a long time, and the phenomenon of "isolated image islands" is intensifying. The International Image Interoperability Framework (IIIF) opens a new window for more in-depth interactions with image applications. Image annotation is the key to breaking image islands and enhancing image recognition. [Method/Process] Based on IIIF framework, this paper proposes three dimensions of image annotation: image-level metadata injection, object-level content transcription, and semantic-level deep annotation connection. At the same time, the ontology management platform built in the paper provides ontology support for semantic annotation of image resources. [Results/Conclusions] This paper takes Night-Shining White, a monochrome ink-on-paper painting by Han Gan, as an example. In this case, the paper discusses the new interactive experience and research mode brought by the use of image annotation and IIIF technology in semantic enhancement of images, object tag clustering and precise associations of resources. It indicates that the combination of IIIF, linked data and artificial intelligence (AI) is bound to open a new era of digital humanities research.

The present study is a field study that aimed at identifying the extent towhich the components of information sources are available in university students'writings in Assiut University bathrooms. The study consisted of an introduction, apractical section and a conclusion. One of the most remarkable findings of thestudy is that the components of information sources are available in universitystudents' writings in Assiut University bathrooms, albeit with differentcharacteristics and percentages. Its cover is comprised of the bathrooms of sixfaculties, its body is comprised of 579 writings, and its pages, totaling 148 pages,are the walls and doors of 37 bathrooms. The walls have 111 pages (66.8%) vis-à-vis 37 pages (33.2%) for the doors.These writings are distributed to six chapters according to the bathroomsof the faculties under study. The biggest chapter is the chapter on the writings ofthe bathrooms of the Faculty of Social Work with a percentage of 31.4%, and thesmallest chapter is the one on the writings of the bathrooms of the Faculty ofScience with a percentage of 5.4%. As for the languages in which these writingsare written, Arabic comes first with a percentage of 49.7%, followed by Englishwith a percentage of 39.9%, and then Arabic and English together with apercentage of 9.8%. They take the form of statements (35.4%), symbols (16.9%),words (7.1%), drawings (2.9%), and figures and numbers (2.6%).

O presente trabalho apresenta um relato sobre a Política de Gerenciamento, Acesso e Uso do Repositório Institucional do Instituto de Logística da Aeronáutica (RILA). Iniciando-se na fase de desenvolvimento da proposta e o estudo da implantação do projeto. A partir da Política do RILA, pretende-se estabelecer uma rotina de atividades e procedimentos a fim de, assegurar o recebimento, o tratamento, a preservação, o acesso e o uso dos documentos e/ou informações contidos no RILA. O RILA tem por finalidade organizar e preservar a documentação de caráter de ensino, técnico-científico, técnico-administrativo e de memória produzidas no âmbito do Instituto de Logística da Aeronáutica (ILA), visando a qualidade no gerenciamento da informação e da documentação institucional. del papel de las emociones en las protesta. Centrando el análisis desde abajo, dedicaremos especial atención a la experiencia de los participantes y a su dimensión emocional. </span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;"><span style="font-family: " lang="ES-TRAD">Desde los primeros resultados de nuestra investigación hemos observado que las emociones juegan un papel importante en las prácticas cotidianas de los grupos que hemos analizado e interactúan con la cognición determinando las conductas de las personas. Las emociones no sólo motivan a los individuos, sino que pueden hasta cambiar sus creencias. Concluyendo, hemos comprobado que las emociones juegan un papel importante en la protesta, no sólo influenciando la motivación para la acción y la participación, sino también afectando algunos resultados de la protesta, como el empoderamiento. </span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;"><span style="font-family: " lang="ES-TRAD">La metodología empleada en nuestra investigación incluye entrevistas en profundidad, historias de vida y análisis narrativo del material biográfico. Presentaremos algunos resultados basados en el análisis de distintos estudios de casos: la insurrección de Oaxaca, México, 2006, los indignados españoles, #yosoy132 y algunos conflictos ambientales locales en España y México.</span></p> <!--EndFragment-->

This article explores the role and implications of reference group theory in relation to the field of library and information science. Reference group theory is based upon the principle that people take the standards of significant others as a basis for making self-appraisals, comparisons, and choices regarding need and use of information. Research that applies concepts of reference group theory to various sectors of library and information studies can provide data useful in enhancing areas such as information-seeking research, special populations, and uses of information. Implications are promising that knowledge gained from like research can be beneficial in helping information professionals better understand the role theory plays in examining ways in which people manage their information and social worlds.
