Abstract In this paper, we propose some new measures of wind power variability based on reliability indexes. The measures are computed for continuous-time Markov models of wind power generation and for different wind parks. This allows us to compare the differences in the measurement of the variability of wind power due to the different geographical positions of the wind plants. The results have direct practical relevance and utility in the real-world wind energy sector, as they contribute to a more in-depth understanding of the variability risk of wind power generation plants.

Apesar de sua incontestável importância para a preservação da biodiversidade e para o combate às mudanças climáticas, a floresta amazônica está passando por um alarmante processo de destruição. Com índices de preservação muito acima da média geral, as terras indígenas evidenciam o papel central dos povos originários no enfrentamento do desmatamento e de outros tantos desafios amazônicos, convidando a olhares mais atentos para as práticas, estratégias e estruturas organizacionais adotadas no âmbito do movimento indígena. Atento para a relevância dos recursos financeiros na dinâmica dessas iniciativas, este artigo buscou compreender a construção e a gestão de um mecanismo de financiamento não apenas voltado para indígenas, mas também criado e gerido por eles. Por meio do caso do Fundo Podáali, apontamos como mecanismos de financiamento inovadores, adaptados às especificidades da Amazônia, podem desburocratizar o acesso a recursos e ainda fortalecer os saberes ancestrais e os modos de vida dos povos originários.

Land degradation in Ethiopia is a pressing issue that demands immediate attention. Although various sustainable land management options have been introduced through top-down approaches, farmers have shown low adoption rates. The objective of this research was to assess the community prioritization of landscape restoration technologies and the appropriation of ecosystem services in the Basona-Worena and Doyo-Gena woredas of Ethiopia. The evaluation of land management option tool was used to survey farmers' preferences and compare different land management options based on input, cost, perceived advantages, and potential drawbacks.Data from 64 participants revealed that farmers were interested in a wide range of benefits. However, their top three preferences were increased food supply, enhanced soil fertility, and improved water supply. The study emphasized the need for site-specific land management measures. Farmers in Basona-Worena favored terrace and bund practices, while farmers in Doyo-Gena preferred exclosure and agroforestry practices. Conversely, the propensity of terracing to attract rodents and pests, the lengthy time takes to see results from bunding, and the cost of gabions were among the shortcomings that farmers identify in conservation techniques. Terracing was the first option for supplying fundamental ecosystem services in both locations, followed by biological measures, water percolation pits, and bunds. All farmers ranked the business-as-usual option as their least preferred option because they perceived it to have limited potential for yielding desired benefits. These findings provide a robust model for informed decision-making on suitable restoration technologies, holding promise for landscape restoration initiatives in Ethiopia and similar locations worldwide.

A pesquisa teve como problema compreender de que forma o uso do smartphone pode ser entendido como recurso de aprendizagem na formação docente. Teve como objetivo geral analisar a função do smartphone no processo formativo de professores, considerando suas possibilidades pedagógicas e os desafios para sua aplicação no ensino. O estudo foi desenvolvido por meio de uma pesquisa bibliográfica, com abordagem qualitativa, fundamentada na análise de publicações entre os anos de 2015 e 2025. Foram utilizados livros, capítulos e artigos científicos que abordaram a relação entre tecnologias móveis e formação de professores. Os resultados apontaram que o uso pedagógico do smartphone favoreceu a autonomia discente, a colaboração e o protagonismo, contribuindo para práticas de ensino interativas e contextualizadas. Também se identificaram desafios, como a resistência docente, a falta de infraestrutura e a carência de formação continuada voltada à cultura digital. A análise demonstrou que o uso planejado e ético do smartphone pode fortalecer a formação docente e ampliar as oportunidades de aprendizagem. Concluiu-se que a integração das tecnologias móveis à prática educativa requer ações formativas permanentes e políticas institucionais que promovam o uso consciente desses recursos.

The purpose of this article is to provide a comprehensive examination of the informational and organisational capabilities of marketing activities in the market for digital products and services. It highlights the importance of data analysis, web analytics and technology partnerships for success in the digital marketplace. It also examines modern organisational strategies to help IT companies effectively implement marketing initiatives and adapt quickly to changing business landscapes. Methodology. This article is based on a theoretical and methodological review of the existing scientific literature on digital technologies, the marketing of digital products and services, and an overview of current technological and organisational solutions in the digital field. In addition, it includes a survey of marketing managers from renowned IT companies with the aim of delineating the typology of organisational structures within marketing departments. Results. Information delivery, data analytics, monitoring tools and web analytics are critical to digital marketing in IT organisations, facilitating the collection and analysis of data from multiple sources such as websites, social media and CRM systems. By leveraging big data and machine learning algorithms, it is possible to identify complex dependencies and predict consumer behaviour. Technological partnerships and collaborations with startups are becoming increasingly important for IT companies' marketing efforts, providing access to fresh ideas, technologies and a competitive edge. Organisational structures in the marketing departments of IT companies emphasise agility and cross-functional teamwork, often using agile methodologies. This promotes adaptability to market changes. Marketing structures typically include inbound approaches, flexible growth-oriented setups, and streamlined hierarchies. Practical implications. These marketing tools and organisational methods are recommended for implementation in the marketing departments of IT companies. The correlation between informational and organisational capabilities contributes to the achievement of marketing goals and the competitive advantage of IT companies in the marketplace. Scrum and Kanban, widely used agile frameworks, are not limited to technology companies but are also common in financial services and retail. Value / Оriginality. In the context of the ongoing military conflict, successful operation of Ukrainian IT companies in the modern world requires not only technological superiority, but also effective marketing and a well-organised internal structure. To accelerate the recovery of the Ukrainian IT sector and improve existing practices, the following recommendations have been made.
