Competition in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry and the cosmetic retail sector in Pontianak City encourages consumers to be increasingly selective in making purchasing decisions, particularly by considering product quality and price suitability. This condition is relevant for CV Kita Beauty Pontianak as a cosmetic retailer that serves as one of the distribution channels for Unilever products. The research problem of this study is whether product and price influence purchasing decisions of Unilever products at CV Kita Beauty Pontianak, both partially and simultaneously. This study aims to analyze the effect of product and price on purchasing decisions of Unilever products at CV Kita Beauty Pontianak. The method used is associative research with a quantitative approach. Primary data were collected through closed questionnaires and interviews, while secondary data were obtained from company documents. The research sample consisted of 100 respondents using a purposive sampling technique, and data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression accompanied by validity tests, reliability tests, and classical assumption tests (normality, linearity, and multicollinearity). The results show that the research instruments are valid and reliable and that the model meets classical assumptions. Partially, product has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions (β = 0.374; t = 4.356; p < 0.05) and price has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions (β = 0.268; t = 3.408; p < 0.05). Simultaneously, product and price have a significant effect on purchasing decisions (F = 30.107; p < 0.05) with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.485, indicating that 48.5% of the variation in purchasing decisions is explained by product and price.

Understanding geometric concepts, particularly angles in circles, is fundamental in junior high school mathematics and is crucial in enhancing students' higher-order thinking skills. Assessing students’ cognitive understanding requires valid and reliable instruments that align with curriculum standards and student abilities. This study aims to construct and characterise a cognitive test instrument on angle material in circles through item analysis using Classical Test Theory with Microsoft Excel and Modern Test Theory with RStudio. A mixed-methods approach combining qualitative and quantitative techniques was used to collect data through observation and item analysis. The test instrument consists of five items to measure students’ understanding and analytical abilities. Content validation using the Aiken formula yielded an Aiken index of 1 for each item, indicating all items were valid. Classical analysis showed that items 1 and 3 were difficult, while items 2, 4, and 5 were of medium difficulty. Using the Partial Credit Model (PCM), all items fell within the medium-hard difficulty range. Power differential analysis revealed that item 3 was poorly constructed and should be removed. The results demonstrate that the developed instrument is valid and can differentiate levels of student understanding. This test is expected to support efforts to improve mathematics learning and better prepare students for numeracy literacy components in the Minimum Competency Assessment (MCA). The instrument also provides a framework for developing similar tools in other areas of mathematics education to enhance the accuracy of student learning evaluations.

The motivation is to develop a device for pacemaker-implanted patients that would automatically alert them in an intense magnetic field. Moreover, the employees working near any strong magnetic environment would benefit by avoiding high exposure. This research delves into a comprehensive process for the implementation and characterization of such a wearable based on the magnetoresistance effect, which is a function of the magnetic field. The program executes on the Arduino IDE platform. Samples are taken for varying magnetic flux density along each axis, for changes in distance of 2.5 mm. The calculations take place accordingly and provide outputs in microtesla units. Subsequently, the device is analyzed by plotting the responses, and it also helps to understand the working procedure. For a certain axis, the magnetic field is generally stronger than others. The goal is to determine the highest absolute value at any instance, including the Earth's geomagnetic field of 22–67 μT. Regulatory standards are followed to divide the magnetic flux density into four states: power saver (below 150 μT), safe (150–500 μT), unsafe (500–750 μT), and danger (over 750 μT). These values consist of ±20 μT error, which is quite insignificant. Depending on the state, the novel device generates different warning signals to mitigate risk from magnetic fields. From the error bar plot, it is realized that the percentage of error decreases while calculating higher magnetic flux. The errors could be reduced remarkably by ensuring better calibration and compensation techniques in the future.

Financial technology (FinTech) is leading a worldwide revolution to increase financial access. Bangladesh’s financial sector is entering a new era of innovation due to the country’s rapid embrace of financial technology. Mobile FinTech service (MFS) providers achieve unattainable economic peaks every year. The growth of conventional banks’ MFS is significant. However, Islamic banks have a good market share but cannot attract more customers to use the Islamic MFS. This study aimed to determine the factors influencing Islamic bank customers to accept the Islamic MFS. This study utilized a modified UTAUT2 model. Data were collected from 310 Islamic bank customers by using online Google Forms. Structural equation modeling was employed to analyze the data by SMART PLS 3.2.9. The results revealed that social influence, facilitating conditions, price, and perceived credibility have a significant positive effect on Islamic MFS acceptance. However, performance expectancy and effort expectancy showed no impact on Islamic MFS acceptance. This research framework is helpful for academicians and researchers to investigate FinTech acceptance in developing countries. Moreover, the study results are beneficial for MFS providers and FinTech firms.

Purpose – The Industrial Revolution 4.0, which facilitates open internet access, has presented an era of disruption in human life. The impact is the rapid dissemination of news and information in society. Using religious issues in Indonesia, the radicalism (radical movements) use this situation to spread provocations through social media. This study aims to examine deradicalization efforts through the development of intellectual traditions at the Fadhlul Fadhlan Islamic Boarding School Semarang (Pondok Pesantren Fadhlul Fadhlan Semarang). Design/methods/approach – This research is a qualitative field research with a case study approach. Field data were obtained through observation, documentation, and interview techniques on two groups of resource persons, boarding school caregivers (Kiyai, Bu Nyai) and 20 students. Findings – Deradicalization efforts at the Fadhlul Fadhlan Islamic Boarding School are carried out without any social frictions, namely by developing digitalization of pesantren traditions, such as creating content for yellow book recitation, halaqah, and seminars. These activities can be accessed not only by students but also by the general public through Pesantren's digital media like YouTube and Facebook. Research implications/limitations – This study provides a scientific contribution that has a significant impact on the learning development in Islamic boarding schools in the disruption era. However, some limitations still exist, such as limited research places, namely only conducted in one Islamic boarding school. Therefore, similar research needs to be carried out in other Islamic boarding schools to strengthen or develop deradicalization models in Islamic boarding schools. Originality/value – Digital technology has a significant role in the dynamics of Salaf Islamic boarding schools (pesantren salaf). These findings contribute to the discourse of education in Islamic boarding schools that can adapt to modern educational paradigms. From this discourse, it was found that the integration of Islamic boarding schools with modern technology can be a means of massive deradicalization.

The issue of verifying the status of children is a recurring topic within the community. Unfortunately, amidst the numerous daily issues that arise, this particular matter tends to be overlooked. While it was previously a prominent subject of discussion across different societal levels, it has been overshadowed by subsequent concerns. One contributing factor to this is the absence of a definitive ruling from an authoritative religious body in Malaysia. Additionally, disagreements among scholars on this matter persist, compounded by the fact that religious affairs fall under the jurisdiction of the Sultan, the King, and the States as stipulated in Article 3(2) of the Federal Constitution and the Eighth Schedule II of the same Act. This study adopts a problem-based learning approach commonly employed in Shariah lectures. Its objectives encompass cultivating critical thinking among law pupils/students to objectively identify problems, generate solutions, and subsequently justify those solutions. Throughout this process, students are encouraged to explore various methods of data collection and analysis, thereby comprehending and analyzing the study's underlying concepts. The analytical techniques employed encompass descriptive, deductive, inductive, and comparative analysis. The outcomes of this systematic problem-solving process facilitate a comprehensive understanding of legal issues, thereby contributing to the development of law students' skills, particularly in Shariah, when confronted with similar cases. This study suggests the application of a case study-based approach, similar to the one employed here, to other relevant cases. By doing so, the skills of law pupils/students, particularly in the field of Shariah, can be enhanced, leading to more effective learning and teaching processes. The resistance of Muslims to shamanism began when lies of the shamans were exposed on social media. Many shamans practise fraud under the guise of religion. Magical objects such as luminous daggers or stones that emit smoke, used by shamans as occult actors are also known to be objects of magic tricks that are sold freely and can be used by anyone. Scholars also continuously preach that Muslims’ belief in shamans is forbidden. Therefore, Muslims in Indonesia fear that believing in shamans degrades human dignity and makes worship unacceptable. The purpose of this research is to identify the factors that cause the resistance of Muslim youth to shamanism. This study used a cross-sectional design which was conducted by interviewing 3025 Muslim youths who had the desire to highlight shamanism phenomena in North Sumatra. The analysis in this study used a logistic regression test with Jeffreys’s Amazing Statistics Program (JAPS 16 software). The results of this study indicate that Muslim youths have a high resistance to shamanism. The resistance of young Muslims to shamanism is influenced by emancipative Islamic theology (p 0.001; Exp [β] = 2.504) and hifz al-din [maintaining religion] (p = 0.001; Exp [β] = 2.293). Muslim youths have high resistance to shamanism due to the fear that this culture will reduce the dignity of the human caliphate if it is subject to anyone other than Allah. Muslim youth also have high resistance to shamanism because they are of the view that shamanism makes worship unacceptable to Allah SWT. Contribution: This article explains the resistance of Muslim youth to shamanism. It also demonstrates how Muslims live in a multicultural society.

Purpose − Analyze the psychology of patients related to halal healthcare tools that impact their loyalty intentions to Sharia hospitals in Indonesia for health visits and the implications of word of mouth on the community. Methodology − The research employed quantitative techniques by utilizing cross-sectional survey information gathered from Sharia hospital patients in Indonesia, selected through convenience sampling methods. The study analyzed a total of 229 patient responses through the application of structural equation modeling. Findings − Sharia facilities, doctor-nurse services, medical expertise and administrative conduct as indicators of halal health services affect patient satisfaction in sharia hospitals. However, there is resistance to the influence of the medical facility atmosphere on satisfaction caused by the concentration of patients in medical services and solving health problems. Patient satisfaction affects loyalty which in turn gives a positive word of mouth effect. Implications − Islamic hospitals should prioritize patient assessment and satisfaction by reviewing their physical facilities, cleanliness, comfort, and spiritual needs. Medical personnel should enhance communication and sharia-compliant practices. Digitalization and improved service standards are essential, requiring adaptability and technology integration. Regular evaluations and external monitoring are vital. The government should collaborate with relevant ministries and organizations to intensively monitor and improve the quality of sharia hospitals. Originality − This study develops new knowledge on indicators of special services for sharia hospitals according to halal standards by integrating the outputs of satisfaction, loyalty and Word of Mouth (WoM) outputs which have been separated so far but have a chronological sequence in line with existing marketing theory.

A leader. The person's behavior and deeds are exemplary, in other words being role models. The prevalence of our society sees that understanding is the meaning and purpose of the uswatun hasanah words contained in the Qur'an. The meaning is to imitate the Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam). We have understood that education is a series of efforts that guide, direct the human potential of life in the form of basic abilities and learning ability, so that there is a change in his personal life, as individual mujluq, and social and in relation to the natural environment in which he lives . The process is always in the Islamic values, the values that gave birth to the norms of shari'ah and akhlak al-karimah.
