Since the journal’s launch in 2018, the Editorial in each issue has been an important space for our team to voice ideas, concerns, and interests, as well as to introduce the new issue. We have used the Editorial to articulate our mission and nurture a shared sense of collective identity. Within the scope of this research, it is aimed to obtain academician opinions on the use of artificial intelligence applications such as ChatGPT in the teaching-learning process and classroom applications in primary schools. In this research, the case study method, which is one of the qualitative research approaches, was used. The study group of the research consists of 10 academicians working in state and foundation universities. A semi-structured interview form prepared by the researchers was used as a data collection tool. The data obtained were analyzed by content analysis method. The findings reveal that artificial intelligence tools make significant contributions to the teaching-learning process in areas such as measurement and evaluation and material preparation; to teachers in terms of saving time and understanding the curriculum; to professional development in terms of following the literature and improving field knowledge; and to students in areas such as increasing motivation and supporting individual learning. However, negative aspects such as ethical and security issues, weakening of higher-order thinking skills in students, and mislearning were also pointed out. In addition, it was stated that artificial intelligence tools can be used effectively in various classroom applications in social studies, Turkish, mathematics and science courses. The study emphasizes the importance of balanced and conscious integration of artificial intelligence in education.

INTRODUCCIÓN. SmashMedicine es una plataforma en línea creada para mejorar el rendimiento de estudiantes de ciencias de la salud. Liderada por la Universidad de Oxford y apoyada por EIT Health (Instituto Europeo de Innovación y Tecnología), el proyecto busca ser un recurso educativo autosostenible.
MÉTODO. En colaboración con SmashMedicine se desarrolló un curso de Anatomía Humana para estudiantes de Enfermería. Utilizando una estructura gamificada, los estudiantes generan y revisan contenido en formato de preguntas tipo test con comentarios teóricos.
RESULTADOS. Participaron 1.158 estudiantes de cuatro cursos académicos, creando 1.782 preguntas, de las cuales el 40 % fueron validadas por expertos y están disponibles en línea. Las preguntas cubren los nueve bloques de contenido del plan docente. La herramienta más utilizada es la simulación de exámenes con contenido validado.
DISCUSIÓN. La plataforma ha demostrado ser eficaz para fomentar el estudio y mantener el espíritu competitivo entre los estudiantes. Sin embargo, mantener el recurso en crecimiento activo requiere tiempo, esfuerzo e implicación tanto de estudiantes como del profesorado experto.

The article adopts a cross-disciplinary perspective on foreign language instruction for non-linguistic students, with particular emphasis on the axiological aspects of developing their professional speaking and writing skills in a foreign language. The theoretical framework of the study integrates contemporary achievements in axiology, cognitive psychology, social studies, and language education into a coherent teaching methodology, designed to reflect the lifestyles, modes of thinking, preferences, values, and cultural practices of today’s youth. The study is aimed at identifying the correlation between professional values and foreign language communicational skills and prove its positive effect on the formation of student’s professional speech culture through a foreign language course titled ‘Professional Speech Culture in the Native and Foreign Language’ for undergraduate science students. The course is tailored to the learners’ specific linguistic, cultural, and professional needs, focusing on oral and written communication in both L1 and L2 to support their future academic and professional success. The course incorporates authentic academic materials in both languages, collaborative activities, and grammar and vocabulary practice, with special attention given to the analysis and categorisation of specialised discourse units and markers within a cross-cultural professional context. The methodology was implemented and tested through a three-stage pedagogical experiment conducted among Physics and Mathematics students at the State University of Education during the 2024–2025 academic year. The results of current and final assessment procedures confirmed the effectiveness of the proposed methodology: students in the experimental group demonstrated greater fluency, fewer grammatical and lexical errors, and more substantial progress in both oral and written communication compared to the control group. Thus, we can state that the proposed methodology makes a valuable contribution to the theory and practice of foreign language instruction.
Nuestro artículo trata la crisis sanitaria mundial, generada por la aparición del Covid-19, cuyo impacto en la vida humana fue muy importante en todos los aspectos, incluidos los servicios educativos con la suspensión de la enseñanza presencial. Por ello, todo el mundo comenzó a buscar alternativas para garantizar la continuidad del aprendizaje aún en condiciones de restricciones, con lo cual se inició la virtualización de la educación a través de todo tipo de plataformas y recursos tecnológicos. El objetivo principal de esta investigación consiste en identificar los impactos de la pandemia del Covid-19 en la educación universitaria, particularmente en los estudiantes del sexto semestre de Estudios Hispánicos de la universidad de Letras y Ciencias Humanas de Fez y Mequínez. Nuestro trabajo va a ser un estudio de campo basado en un cuestionario dirigido a 40 estudiantes, teniendo como fuente y corpus el ámbito universitario, para poder analizar y comentar los resultados obtenidos del mismo.

The article is dedicated to a comparative analysis of the possibilities of staffing autonomy in universities in Estonia and Croatia. The research is based on the methodology of the European University Association (EUA), which considers staffing autonomy as a part of institutional autonomy. This includes the ability of universities to decide on recruitment and dismissing rules and procedures, ability to decide on salaries and defining career advancement mechanisms. The selection of countries and universities for comparative analysis is driven by the results of the EUA analytical reports on staffing autonomy, where Estonia holds the highest position (100%) and Croatia the lowest (12%). It is emphasized that university websites offering employment opportunities serve as an innovative tool for human resource management. Based on a comparison of the websites of the University of Tartu and the University of Zagreb, it is concluded that Estonian higher education institutions have greater freedom to define their human resource management policies and practices. In contrast, Croatian universities are constrained by centralized state policies that limit staffing autonomy, define academic personnel as civil servants, and regulate all hiring and career advancement procedures through state legislation. However, the comparative analysis also revealed that both the University of Tartu and the University of Zagreb can set additional requirements for candidates applying for academic positions, which demonstrates the universities’ commitment to staffing autonomy.

Abstrak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa pada materi dimensi tiga ditinjau dari tahapan Polya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII berjumlah 4 siswa terdiri dari 2 siswa laki-laki dan 2 siswa perempuan. Pemilihan subjek penelitian menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setiap siswa memiliki cara tersendiri dalam proses memecahkan masalah. Seluruh siswa sudah mampu melalui tahapan pemecahan masalah menurut Polya yaitu: memahami masalah, merencanakan penyelesaian, melaksanakan rencana, dan memeriksa kembali proses dan hasil meskipun masih terdapat kekurangan dalam prosesnya. Selain itu, jika siswa dibagi ke dalam kelompok belajar, siswa MIPA tampil lebih baik daripada siswa IPS. Sedangkan jika dikategorikan berdasarkan gender, siswa perempuan memiliki kemampuan pemecahan masalah yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan siswa laki laki.

The scientific article substantiates the important role of the initiation and development of professional pre-higher education in Ukraine in modern socio-economic conditions. It is noted that education for sustainable development of society is a holistic education, and therefore mediative, health, based on self-awareness and self-creation of the individual, which implements a new type of relationship in the system «human – nature», meeting personal needs and development through self-organization. The place of professional pre-higher education in the structure of the modern education system in Ukraine is highlighted. The main attention is focused on the analysis of the leading features of the development of professional pre-higher education in Ukraine in the conditions of sustainable development of society, among which the author singles out the creation and approval of the legal framework for educational services in this area; standardization of training of applicants for educational and professional degree «professional junior bachelor»; introduction of the competence approach and principles of student-oriented learning in educational activities; active involvement of experts, scientists, various business entities in the development of standards, modernization of the system of professional development of teachers for professional pre-higher education, expansion of the existing network of vocational education institutions with training and production infrastructure that meets modern requirements. Emphasis is placed on the fact that the introduction of professional pre-higher education in Ukraine opens wide opportunities for lifelong learning; Adult education is becoming more flexible, as a person will be able to obtain several vocational education at the expense of the budget during his or her lifetime. Further development of professional pre-higher education in Ukraine will contribute to the recognition of the national system of vocational education at the world level while preserving the best traditions and practices formed by the previous long-term activities of domestic technical schools and colleges.

Este artigo, escrito a quatro mãos, trata de dois temas intrinsecamente articulados, a saber, os meandros da criação da disciplina EDU 03142 Educação e Cinema no curso de Licenciatura em Pedagogia da FACED-UFRGS e uma pesquisa de mestrado sobre as primeiras edições desta disciplina no novo currículo deste curso de Pedagogia. Tensionando educação e arte nas relações entre os sujeitos, seja durante o processo de criação da referida disciplina, na Comissão de Graduação, seja nas primeiras edições de oferta da disciplina aos alunos, se apresenta como uma provocação e um desafio sobre as contribuições do cinema e do audiovisual para a formação docente, para a produção sensível e intelectual do conhecimento.

Komunikasi matematis merupakan kecakapan peserta didik dalam menyampaikan ide-ide matematisnya, baik secara tulisan maupun lisan. Komunikasi matematis diperlukan dalam pembelajaran matematika, terutama saat memecahkan masalah matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan komunikasi matematis peserta didik kelas VIII di salah satu SMP Negeri Kota Ambon dalam menyelesaikan masalah sistem persamaan linier dua variabel, dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data, yaitu pendidik matematika dan peserta didiknya. Subjek yang dipilih berdasarkan hasil tes berjumlah 3 orang yaitu 1 subjek dengan nilai matematika tinggi, 1 subjek dengan nilai matematika sedang, dan 1 subjek dengan nilai matematika rendah. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan tes tertulis yang memuat 3 butir soal uraian dan hasil wawancara. Data dianalisis melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa subjek T (subjek berkemampuan tinggi) memenuhi semua indikator komunikasi matematis tulisan dan lisan, subjek S (subjek berkemampuan sedang) memenuhi 2 indikator komunikasi matematis tulisan dan lisan, dan subjek R (subjek berkemampuan rendah) hanya memenuhi indikator kemampuan memahami ide-ide matematis secara lisan. Rekomendasi kepada pendidik matematika di sekolah agar dapat menumbuhkembangkan komunikasi matematis peserta didik dan membiasakan peserta didik menggunakan langkah-langkah pemecahan masalah Polya dalam menyelesaikan persoalan matematika.
Bu araştırmanın temel amacı okul yöneticilerinin COVID-19 salgınında görevlerini nasıl algıladıklarını ve anlamlandırdığını incelemektir. Fenomonolojik araştırma deseniyle yürütülmüş olan araştırmanın katılımcı grubu devlet okullarında görevli 10 okul yöneticisidir. Araştırma verileri açık uçlu sorulardan oluşan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme tekniği kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Görüşmede katılımcıların verdikleri cevaplara bağlı olarak sonda soruları da sorulmuştur. Fenomenolojik çalışmada incelenen araştırma konusuna ilişkin katılımcıların deneyimlerinin özüne ve yapısına ulaşmak hedeflenmektedir. Bu nedenle katılımcıların okul yöneticisi olma deneyimlerinin özünü ve yapısını açığa çıkarmak amacıyla verilerin analizinde “parantezleme”, “fenomenolojik redüksiyon”, “imgesel çeşitleme” ve “anlam ve özlerin sentezlenmesi” olmak üzere dört aşamalı bir süreç takip edilmiştir. Verilerin analizi sonucunda COVID-19 pandemisi sürecinde okul yöneticisi olma fenomeninin yapısını ve özünü birbiriyle ilişkili altı bileşenin oluşturduğu tespit edilmiştir. Deneyimin yapısını oluşturan bu bileşenler veya özler; okul yöneticilerinin (1) Bilinmezlik: Pandemi sürecinin getirdiği bilinmezlik etkisiyle önlerini görememe, (2) İş Yükünün artışı, (3) Yıpranmışlık ve yorgunluk hissi, (4) Motivasyon Kaybı ve çalışma azminde düşüş, (5) Teknoloji Kullanımı artışı ve deneyimleri, (6) Vicdani Sorumluluk’tur. Okul yöneticilerinin pandeminin seyrine göre üstlerinden yazılar geldiği ve buna göre hareket ettikleri ancak pandeminin seyrinin kestirilemez oluşu sebebiyle bilinmezlik algısı yaşadıkları tespit edilmiştir. Uzaktan eğitim süreciyle iş yüklerinin ve yoğunluklarının artan yöneticilerin, bu yoğunluk ve bilinmezlik durumu sebebiyle de yıpranmışlık ve yorgunluk yaşadıklarını, yorgunluğun hemen peşinden motivasyon kaybına uğradıklarını ifade etmişlerdir. Öte yandan uzaktan eğitim sürecine aktif şekilde dahil olarak teknolojide yeni deneyimler elde ettiklerini belirten yöneticiler, çevrim içi eğitim süreci için de öğrencilerine gerekli materyalleri ve imkanları sağlamak için kendilerini vicdani sorumluluk altında hissettikleri belirlenmiştir.

Resumo: O objetivo da pesquisa foi compreender como o ensino de Agroecologia em uma escola agrícola, em regime de Pedagogia da Alternância, tem influenciado no ensino-aprendizagem dos estudantes e como isso tem afetado o âmbito familiar e comunitário. Utilizaram-se as metodologias quantitativa, com aplicação de questionário aos estudantes, e qualitativa, baseada em entrevistas abertas e estruturadas aos estudantes, professores, pais e pessoas ligadas à fundação da escola. O processo de ensino-aprendizagem baseado na interação com a realidade local, como propõe o método “Tempo Escola e Tempo Comunidade” aplicado na Pedagogia da Alternância, mostrou-se efetivo por apresentar maior ligação com as relações do campo. Os entrevistados relatam que essa metodologia tem proporcionado maiores trocas de conhecimento com a família e a comunidade, o que pode influenciar positivamente as formas de cultivo a partir de um novo pensar. No entanto, verificou-se que há uma distorção relacionada às práticas agrícolas locais e ao ensino de Agroecologia. De acordo com os estudantes e pais, há necessidade de realizar a transição agroecológica, pois muitos ainda seguem práticas convencionais de cultivo, o que dificulta o uso dos conhecimentos adquiridos pelos estudantes. Compreende-se que a alteração de paradigmas é feita gradativamente e a Pedagogia da Alternância aplicada ao ensino de Agroecologia pode auxiliar no aprimoramento de práticas para que as mudanças ocorram.
The research interest to such phenomenon as giftedness has already been taken place in the discussions in some areas: anthropological about human nature, pedagogical about the interaction between bringing up, education and training of a gifted child, social about the circumstances of revealing of special abilities of children, psycological about nature, classification and sources of giftedness. On the base of theoretical-empirical methods of scientific research (theoretical analysis of philosophical, pedagogical, psychological, methodical, historical literature; content-analysis of normative-methodical documents, methods of comparison and classification) the following results of retrospective analysis of theories of giftedness. The stages in the development of the idea of giftedness and its fundamental distinctive definitions are highlighted, the methodical principles of theories of giftedness are defined, the necessity of working out the methodological basis of the process of continuous development of gifted children. The retrospective analysis of evolutional development of the theories of giftedness points out that their conceptual differences are based on different scientific theoretical and methodological researches, are determined by the dynamics of socio-political, economical and socio-cultural processes. On the other hand, the diversity of concepts is the consequence of versatility and difficulty of giftedness nature, impossibility to work out the general references and strategies of development for all its demonstrations. The giftedness is defined as gradually developing competence, performing as the basis of effective activity of the talented personality. The study, analysis and generalization of the main elements of the giftedness theories given in the works of Russian and foreign scientists, form the scientific platform for search and working out the scientific and practical methods of giftedness development aimed to find out and develop of potential and hidden opportunities of schoolchildren, aimed to individual accompaniment of their educational paths, aimed to formation of social motivation.

Goals of the Study
• Identify the statistical indicator of the level of feeling of the psychological quality of educational counselors.
• Identify the indication of statistical differences of the feeling level of the psychological quality according to gender variable.
The population of the thesis consists of the educational counselors of the academic year (2020-2021), the sample of the final study included (120) male and female counselors which represent approximately (50%) of the population.
The researcher prepared a scale, the number of its items in its final form is (50) items with five alternatives (totally agree, agree, neutral, disagree, totally disagree) to measure the feeling of the psychological quality, and the researcher extracted the face validity, and the consistency was measured by test retest method and the scale recorded (0.75).
To investigate the goals of the study, the statistical portfolio for the social science (SPSS) has been used and the data has been analyzed by using (T-test) for one sample, and for two samples Chi-Square test and Pearson’s correlation. The study found the following results:
• There is statistical indicator difference between the mediocre and in favor of the arithmetic mean of the sample in the feeling of the psychological quality.
• There is no statistical indicator difference in the feeling of the psychological quality according to gender variable.

Este artigo se configura como uma pesquisa participante, portanto, uma pesquisa pensada para transformação social na qual pesquisador e comunidade intervém juntos em uma demanda da própria comunidade. Cabe salientar que um dos pesquisadores é quilombola. Assim, objetivou-se discutir a seguinte questão: como saberes e fazeres tradicionais de matriz africana dialogam com o ensino de química? Para responder essa questão desenvolvemos um trabalho em comunidades quilombolas (kalungas) do Estado de Goiás, primeiro, ouvindo e aprendendo sobre conhecimentos tradicionais mobilizados pelos Griôs, bem como sobre suas demandas e, em seguida, planejando intervenções pedagógicas intentando estabelecer um diálogo entre esses saberes e a ciência escolar (química). Nossos resultados mostraram ser possível concatenar saberes tradicionais e o conhecimento químico, possibilitando a valorização da ciência de matriz africana culminando na proposição de uma sequência didática e reflexões acerca da mesma que podem orientar a prática docente, especialmente no âmbito da Educação Escolar Quilombola.

The article deals with the conceptual foundations and the search for effective ways of developing the system of higher education in Ukraine. It has been determined that the general tendency of professional training of specialists in the countries of the European Union is the applied interdisciplinary approach. An interdisciplinary approach is analyzed in the process of studying humanitarian disciplines. The quality of professional training depends on the relationship between teaching disciplines, as well as the ability of the teacher to call and support the subjects of learning interest in such relationships. The concept of «integration» is specified, the meaning of «interdisciplinary connections» is substantiated. The strategic directions of updating the learning process based on the application of the principles of interdisciplinary connections in the process of studying a foreign language are determined.
The article presents the results of a theoretical study of the requirements of the Professional standard «Teacher» and the FSES in the field of training «Teacher education». The author considers the content complementarity of normative documents requirements and presents the content of mandatory professional competencies and recommended professional competencies in the profile of «life safety».

The authors emphasize that the educational environment of the modern university is an important resource for the formation and development of the student's personality. The university acts as a social institution, performs socio-cultural tasks of modern society development and acquires new qualities.

Resumo: Neste artigo, apresentamos uma proposta em Ciências Naturais realizada durante o segundo semestre letivo do ano de 2017 em uma escola da rede pública de São Paulo em um município do interior do Estado. Esta proposta foi realizada no intuito de aproximar o conteúdo científico do cotidiano de alunos matriculados em um 5º ano do Ensino Fundamental para investigar a hipótese de influências geradas por tal aproximação no desenvolvimento de habilidades em língua portuguesa. Para tanto, foram estabelecidas relações entre o uso desta proposta e o processo de alfabetização científica (AC) na perspectiva de ciência-tecnologia-sociedade-ambiente (CTSA). A análise desta intervenção efetuou-se por indicadores que pudessem demonstrar se a alfabetização científica estaria ocorrendo, bem como na observação do processo de produção textual guiada por bilhetes orientadores. Os resultados demonstraram a possibilidade de articulação entre às duas disciplinas através do planejamento didático considerando o uso de gêneros textuais. As conclusões deste estudo revelam que o planejamento de ensino interdisciplinar através do uso dos gêneros textuais oferece sentido às ciências em suas práticas sociais, assim como, a presença de indicadores de AC como resultado das intervenções feitas pela pesquisa evidencia um estimulo para demonstração de habilidades em ambas disciplinas.

Abstract: In this article we present a didactic proposal in Natural Sciences carried out during the second semester of 2017 in a public school in the State of São Paulo, located in the interior of the State. This proposal was made with the purpose of approaching the scientific content of the daily life of students enrolled in a 5th year of Elementary School in order to investigate the hypothesis of influences generated by such an approach in the development of Portuguese language skills. Therefore, relations between the use of this proposal and the scientific literacy (SL) process from the science-technology-society-environment (STSE) perspective were established. The analysis of this intervention was made by indicators that could demonstrate if scientific literacy was occurring, as well as the observation of the textual production process guided by guiding tickets. The results demonstrated the possibility of articulation between the two disciplines through didactic planning considering the use of textual genres. The conclusions of this study reveal that the planning of interdisciplinary teaching through the use of textual genres makes sense to the sciences in their social practices, as well as, the presence of SL indicators as a result of the interventions made by the research shows a stimulus for demonstrating skills in both disciplines.

Este artigo tem como objetivo analisar o quantitativo e volume financeiro dos projetos de ensino, pesquisa e extensão, firmados pelas Fundações de Apoio no âmbito dos Centros de Ensino da UFSC, durante o ano de 2015. A pesquisa caracteriza-se como descritiva, bibliográfica e documental, com abordagem qualitativa e quantitativa. A partir do levantamento das informações disponibilizadas pelas quatro Fundações de Apoio da UFSC foram analisados os projetos gerenciados em cada uma delas, seus respectivos valores, suas áreas de atuação - entre ensino, pesquisa e extensão e as distribuições destes pelos Centros de Ensino da instituição. A análise dos dados demonstrou que a UFSC se destaca na área da pesquisa em campos como a tecnologia e inovação e na extensão em áreas como a saúde e a tecnologia. No que tange aos recursos financeiros, observa-se que há concentração de projetos e movimentação de recursos em três Fundações de Apoio de forma homogênea. Esta característica persiste na alocação dos recursos por Centro de Ensino, assim como no montante de recursos destinados a projetos de extensão.
