Abstract Background Digital therapeutics (DTx) are software-based medical interventions used to prevent, manage, or treat health conditions. As mental health DTx become more prevalent, understanding clinicians’ willingness to use them and the systemic and individual factors that shape that willingness is critical for effective implementation. This study aimed to compare perceptions of DTx among mental health professionals in South Korea and Germany. Methods A cross-sectional, web-based survey was conducted between February and May 2024 among mental health professionals in South Korea and Germany. The survey assessed participant characteristics, digital technology use, willingness to use DTx, perceived applicability, motivations, and related concerns. Group differences between countries were analyzed, and logistic regression was used to identify predictors of willingness to use DTx. Exploratory analyses examined differences across professional groups. Results A total of 237 participants completed the survey (South Korea: n = 133; Germany: n = 104). Overall, 63.7% (n = 151) reported willingness to use DTx, with a significantly higher proportion in Germany than in South Korea (71.2% vs 57.9%; p = 0.035). Significant differences were observed in expected DTx functionalities and perceived applicability across mental health conditions. South Korean clinicians reported higher willingness to use AI-based chatbots, wearable-supported monitoring, and digital psychotherapy, whereas German clinicians reported higher willingness to use relaxation-based interventions. Perceived applicability also differed by country: South Korean participants more frequently considered DTx suitable for stress-related and childhood/adolescent-onset disorders, while German participants more frequently considered them suitable for substance use and schizophrenia spectrum disorders. In multivariable analysis, higher technological readiness (OR = 4.92, 95% CI 2.19–11.09; p < 0.001), residence in Germany (OR = 3.37, 95% CI 1.53–7.42; p = 0.003), and being a medical doctor (OR = 2.78, 95% CI 1.23–6.25; p = 0.027) were associated with greater willingness to use DTx. Conclusions Clinicians in both countries reported willingness to use DTx, although levels varied by country, profession, and level of digital engagement. Addressing common and context-specific barriers, including training, reimbursement mechanisms, and regulatory clarity, could support broader use of DTx in mental health care. Clinical trial number Not applicable.

Background: Diabetes mellitus is a chronic metabolic disorder characterized by impaired glucose regulation. Exercise is a key non-pharmacological strategy to improve insulin sensitivity and metabolic control. Emerging evidence indicates that the timing of exercise, especially in the afternoon, may optimize glycemic outcomes. Objective: To analyze the effect of exercise timing on glycemic markers in individuals with metabolic diseases like diabetes. Methodology: For this review, two authors performed literature searches in numerous databases. For quality assessment Modified Downs and Black Checklist has been used. After a comprehensive analysis, seven studies met the inclusion criteria. Results: Afternoon timing results had favorable outcomes, showing a decline in their glucose parameters. Unlike morning timing also showed considerable results in a decrease of glycemic factors. Studies reported statistically significant findings in favor of afternoon exercise. For example, Savikj et al. (2018) reported reduced blood glucose levels based on CGM in the afternoon group (6.1 ± 0.4 mmol/l) compared to the morning group (6.6 ± 0.4 mmol/l; p < 0.05). Mancilla et al. (2020) showed a decline in fasting plasma glucose in the afternoon group (−0.3 ± 1.0 mmol/l) versus an increase in the morning group (+0.5 ± 0.8 mmol/l), with a significant intergroup difference (p = 0.02). VO₂ max improvements were significant in both groups with p-values of 0.003 (morning) and 0.001 (afternoon). Additionally, Gomez et al. (2015) found that hypoglycemic events were significantly lower following morning exercise sessions compared to afternoon (p < 0.001). Conclusion: Afternoon timing plays a pivotal role in reducing the glycemic parameters. Future research endeavors should focus on incorporating larger sample sizes, and more randomized control trials should be conducted on the female population Keywords: Circadian Rhythm; Diabetes; Exercise Timing; Muscle Clocks; Morning Exercise; Afternoon Exercise

Background: Infant carrying, which involves holding an infant in arms or using a baby carrier, enables a newborn to remain physically close to their mother. However, the physical demands of caring for a newborn can make nursing mothers more prone to developing musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). Objective: To determine the association between infant carrying methods, duration, and trunk position among nursing mothers of Lahore. Methodology: A descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted using a non-probability convenience sampling technique. The study included 176 female participants of childbearing age (18-35 years) with a body mass index (18.5-24.9 kg/m²) and infants aged 0-2 years. Data was collected from six immunization centers and four postnatal clinics in Lahore. A standardized questionnaire, consisting of three sections, was used. Section A focused on socio-demographic and infant-maternal characteristics, while sections B and C addressed various infant carrying methods (ICMs) and related musculoskeletal injuries. The test-retest reliability coefficients of this questionnaire were 0.80 and 0.79, respectively. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS version 26. Results: Out of 176 participants, 31.3% (n=55) commonly carry their infants in their arms, primarily adopting a forward trunk lean position (35.2%, n=62). Additionally, 76.1% (n=134) carry their infants for 1 to 6 hours daily. Musculoskeletal pain was predominantly reported in the upper limbs (65.4%, n=115) and upper back (68.2%, n=120). A significant association (p<0.05) was found between the infant carrying methods, trunk position, and time spent carrying an infant. Conclusion: A greater number of participants used in-arms ICM for 1-6 hours daily, and reported forward lean trunk position, as well as upper limbs and upper back pain, suggesting an association between ICM duration and musculoskeletal discomfort. Introduction: Intra-articular Hyaluronic acid (IAHA) injection provides intra-articular (IA) anti-inflammatory effect and improves synovial fluid flow dynamics and viscoelasticity. The aim of this prospective observational, clinical study was to evaluate the safety and efficacy of Hyaluronic Acid (HA) (40mg/2ml) 3 times with one week interval for the treatment of osteoarthritis (OA). Methods and materials: A total of 105 adults with OA were enrolled in the study. Each patient received 3 injection cycles of HA with one week interval. WOMAC OA Index was used to assess the effectiveness of injection and SF-36 to observe the change in quality of life. Physical examination was performed before injection and at the 3rd and 6th months following injection. Results: WOMAC score showed significant reduction from baseline (61.6) to 3rd treatment procedure visit (32.1), 3 months (16.2) and 6 months follow up visit (4.8) respectively (p<0.001). Significant improvement was observed in quality of life from baseline values to 3 month and 6 month follow up visit (p<.0001) Discussion: Studies have shown that HA is safe and well tolerated to achieve clinically significant improvement in patients with mild to moderate knee OA. It is presented that repeated IAHA injections are an effective treatment for knee OA, and reduce pain and contribute to recovery. It was concluded that HA with higher molecular weight improved pain more and suggested that the use of HA products may be effective in knee OA. A significant increase was observed in SF-36 parameters reporting quality of life with IAHA, and HMW-IAHA added to usual care is effective for knee OA in working individuals. Conclusion: Three weekly IA injections of HA provided pain relief and functional improvements with high treatment satisfaction in patients with painful knee OA lasted for a minimum 6 months.

The meaning of hijrah is also a trend to show off that it has routine activities that are useful not on the basis of the heart's movement to change, then the meaning of hijrah is also limited to changing clothes that are more closed and more arrogant, of course this has the wrong meaning. Full meaning of something will certainly produce good conclusions, especially on the meaning of hijrah. Having the wrong meaning of hijrah that is not in accordance with Islamic values will certainly make a teenager who does not have a positive self-concept. The research method used was experimental, pretest-posttest control group design, with the mediator variable that will be involved in this study. Involving 14 research subjects who were selected purposively from 114 first year students of BPI UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. The research instrument used was a self-concept scale consisting of 16 items. The results of the analysis using the Regression Test to show that there is a significant relationship and increase between positive self-concept and the meaning of hijrah using a humanistic counseling. The findings of this study also show that the experimental group using a humanistic approach experienced a significant increase in self-concept through the meaning of hijrah. There is a significant relationship between the meaning of hijrah and self-concept.

The purpose of this study was to provide a model for predicting job stress on the basis of self-compassion, sense of coherence (SOC) and affective control. To this end, we used structural equation modelling (SEM). The sample in this research consisted of 330 staff of steel companies selected via simple random sampling. For collecting data, Antonovsky's sense of coherence, Williams et al.’s affective control, self-compassion, and job stress questionnaires were used. Data were analysed via Sobel and Bootstrap statistical tests using SPSS and AMOS, Ver. 22. The results revealed that the direct effect of SOC, self-compassion, and affective control on the staff’s stress was significant. The indirect effect of self-compassion and SOC on job stress through affective control mediation was also significant. In total, 20% of job stress variance was explained by the variables of the model. Considering the direct and indirect effects of the exogenous and mediating variables on staff job stress, it can be concluded that job stress can be reduced by enhancing affective control, SOC, and self-compassion.

INTRODUCTION The Clinical Outcome in Routine Evaluation - Outcome Measurement (CORE-OM) was developed in the 1990s, with the aim of assessing the efficacy and effectiveness of mental health treatments. OBJECTIVE To adapt the CORE-OM for use in the Brazilian population. METHOD The instrument was translated and adapted based on the international protocol developed by the CORE System Trust which contains seven steps: translation, semantic equivalence analysis, synthesis of the translated versions, pre-testing in the target population, data analysis and back translation. RESULTS After semantic analysis, modifications were necessary in seven of the 34 original items. Changes were made to avoid repetition of words and the use of terms difficult to understand. Internal consistency analysis showed evidence of score stability in the CORE-OM adapted to Brazilian Portuguese. CONCLUSION The instrument was successfully adapted to Brazilian Portuguese, and its semantic and conceptual properties were equivalent to those of the original instrument.

The purpose of the present study was to explore facets of the client- and therapist-rated therapeutic alliance as predictors of suicide attempts, nonsuicidal self-injury, depression, and introject during the course of 2 psychosocial treatments for borderline personality disorder. A total of 101 women meeting Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders-IV DSM-IV criteria for borderline personality disorder participated in a randomized controlled trial of dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) versus community treatment by experts. Clients and therapists rated the therapeutic alliance at 4 time points during 1 year of treatment. Multilevel models showed no significant differences in client ratings of the alliance by treatment condition. DBT therapists reported greater working strategy consensus early in treatment and an overall greater alliance during treatment. Client ratings of commitment and working capacity were associated with fewer suicide attempts in DBT. Client ratings of commitment were also associated with reduced nonsuicidal self-injury in DBT only. Therapist ratings of the alliance were predictive of reduced suicide attempts in both treatments. Therapist ratings of the alliance in community treatment by experts were predictive of increased nonsuicidal self-injury. Client and therapist ratings of the alliance were not significantly associated with changes in depression or introject across both treatments. The study supported theoretically predicted relationships between facets of the therapeutic alliance in DBT and suicidal behavior. Results are discussed in the context of recommendations for developing the therapeutic alliance in DBT.
