Тема раціонального використання земельних ресурсів у громадах, що отримали автономію в умовах децентралізації, є важливою та актуальною через потребу активізації та раціоналізації цього процесу для розвитку туристичної діяльності. Метою дослідження є обґрунтування економічної доцільності змін пріоритетів землекористування на користь розвитку туризму. Для досягнення цієї мети використано системний підхід, історичний та еволюційний методи, а також аналіз і синтез, за допомогою котрих доведено, що зміни в землекористуванні можуть значно підвищити соціо-еколого-економічну ефективність громад, зокрема через залучення землі в туризм. Основна гіпотеза дослідження полягала в тому, що зміни у використанні земель сприятимуть розвитку локальної економіки вже зараз, що доводить і європейський досівд, де регуляція землекористування ітсорично та традиційно стаивть невиснажливе використання ресурсу на першу позицію. Здійснено оцінку та систематизацію досвіду європейських країн у сфері землекористування, що допоможе громадам адаптуватися до цього процесу в контексті євроінтеграційних поступів України. Охарактеризовано роль туризму як важливого фактору економічного зростання в громадах, що знайшло відображення як результатах, так і у плануванні подальшої діяльності. Перспективами подальших досліджень є удосконалення моделей співпраці між громадами для ефективного використання земельних ресурсів, оскільки більшість проаналізованих стратегій розвитку громад і територій не орієнтуються у найближчі 3-5 років на швидкі доходи від туристів. Потрібні системні рішення, які ляжуть в основу переформатування концептуального бачення майбутнього громади – доведеться балансувати між подальшою підтримкою бюджетогенеруючого індустріального розвитку території та інтересами мешканців, яким необхідно забезпечити робочі місця у постіндустріальній системі економічних відносин. У статті досліджено суть категорії «мережеві бізнес-моделі підприємств торгівлі» та окреслено ключові аспекти їх трансформації під впливом процесів цифровізації. Систематизовано основні типи мережевих бізнес-моделей (маркетплейси, омніканальні платформи, підписні моделі, моделі економіки спільного користування та кастомізовані екосистеми) й розкрито їх специфічні характеристики. Проаналізовано технологічні драйвери формування мережевих бізнес-моделей, зокрема хмарні обчислення, мобільні технології, Інтернет речей, аналітику великих даних, штучний інтелект і блокчейн. Досліджено вплив цифровізації на структуру доходів і витрат підприємств торгівлі, процеси мережевої взаємодії з клієнтами та партнерами, а також на конкурентне середовище галузі. Виявлено бар’єри, що гальмують впровадження мережевих бізнес-моделей, і розроблено рекомендації щодо їх подолання. У дослідженні також розглянуто, як пандемія COVID-19 та воєнні дії на території України виступили каталізаторами цифрової трансформації в торгівлі, стимулюючи розвиток безконтактних моделей торгівлі, систем дистанційного замовлення та доставки, а також цифрових рішень для управління ризиками. Проаналізовано еволюцію мережевих бізнес-моделей через чотири послідовні етапи: цифровізація аналогових процесів, цифрова оптимізація, цифрова трансформація та формування цифрових екосистем. Визначено перспективні напрями розвитку мережевих бізнес-моделей підприємств торгівлі в умовах прискореної цифрової трансформації, зокрема: інтеграція фізичного й цифрового просторів, розвиток метавсесвіту як нового середовища комерційної взаємодії, впровадження технологій квантових обчислень та розвиток децентралізованих фінансових інструментів на основі технології блокчейн.

This study explores the impacts of participatory design (PD) on data-driven decision-making (DDDM) in organisations. Despite the extensive examination of PD and DDDM individually, there is a dearth of research in understanding their integration and their impact on decision-making processes in organisations. This research aims to fill this gap by investigating the potential impacts, challenges, benefits, and critical success factors associated with the incorporation of PD activities into DDDM. The study employs a systematic literature review methodology to provide a comprehensive understanding of the topic. The paper provides a research agenda for future researchers as well as discussing best practices for organizations seeking to optimise their data driven decision-making processes in a participatory manner. The research also discussed the ethical implications of data-driven decision-making. Ultimately, this research advances our understanding of how PD and DDDM can be effectively combined to achieve better decision-making outcomes.
У сучасній економіці підприємствам потрібно швидко адаптуватися до змін у зовнішньому середовищі. Для досягнення високого рівня конкурентоспроможності продукції організації повинні активно займатися інноваціями. Навіть великі міжнародні компанії, маючи достатні ресурси, намагаються створити умови, де інновації можуть виникати всередині організації. Це можливо завдяки перетворенню креативних ідей, здібностей, знань і досвіду працівників у внутрішній інноваційний потенціал компанії. Залучення та розвиток талантів цьогоріч стала однією із цільових індустрій нової технологічної події – Nexus2050, де провідні менеджери міжнародних компаній ділились досвідом у сфері управління персоналом та визначали майбутні кроки у цьому напрямку. Це вкотре підтверджує те, що управління талантами організації є актуальним. Дане дослідження націлене на визначення ролі креативного менеджменту в управлінні талантами організації, виявленні потенційних шляхів його впровадження та оптимізації задля досягнення стратегічних цілей сталого розвитку організації. Дослідження проведено за допомогою широкого спектра методів, включаючи як загальнонаукові, так і специфічні. Серед них — діалектичний, екстраполяційний, абстрактно-логічний методи, а також метод порівняльного аналізу. Крім того, застосовувались підходи до узагальнення отриманих результатів. У статті розглядається поняття управління талантами, актуальність створення інноваційного освітнього середовища у процесі підготовки майбутніх кваліфікованих спеціалістів. Разом з цим акцентується увага на перешкодах, що виникають на шляху до управління талантами, а також на стратегічній ролі креативного менеджменту у цьому процесі. Проаналізовано можливі стратегії розвитку талантів організації з використанням принципів креативного управління, що допомагають їм бути більш інноваційно конкурентоспроможними порівняно з конкурентами. Практичне значення проведеного дослідження полягає у аналізі важливості ролі креативного управління талантами на засадах розробки мотиваційних механізмів стимулювання творчості, підкресленні важливості зосередження уваги менеджерів вищих рівнів на розвиток та утримання кваліфікованого персоналу у сучасних умовах господарювання. Перспективи подальших досліджень вбачаємо у визначенні механізмів сприяння розвитку талантів на засадах міжособистісних комунікаційних взаємодій у колективі. Стаття є теоретичною.

This study aims to analyze the impact of fuel price fluctuations, exchange rates, and profitability on inflation and stock returns. The study employs statistical analysis utilizing SEM techniques and is tested using Smart PLS version 3.0. The study reveals that Fuel price fluctuations have no effect on Inflation. The direction of the relationship between Exchange Rate and Inflation is negative. Profitability has no effect on Inflation. Fuel price fluctuations have no effect on stock returns. Exchange rate has a significant effect with a positive direction on stock returns. Profitability has no direct effect on stock returns. Inflation has a significant effect directly with a negative direction on Stock Returns. Exchange rate has no effect on stock returns through inflation as an intervening variable. Profitability has a significant effect with a positive direction on stock returns through inflation as an intervening variable. The novelty in research is inflation as an intervening variable. Investors are advised that fluctuations in fuel prices and inflation rates need not be a primary concern in their investment decisions. Instead, the focus should be on assessing the potential impact of these factors on company profits. Consequently, investors should emphasize monitoring stock returns periodically while also taking into account variables that could influence a company's stock returns. The study is limited in its scope by examining only three independent variables—Fuel Price Fluctuations, Exchange Rates, and Profitability. Additionally, the research is confined to the period from 2013 to 2017.
Supplemental Digital Content is available in the text EXECUTIVE SUMMARY Value-based initiatives are growing in importance as strategic models of healthcare management, prompting the need for an in-depth exploration of their outcome measures. This systematic review aimed to identify measures that are being used in the application of the value agenda. Multiple electronic databases (PubMed/MEDLINE, Embase, Scopus, Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials) were searched. Eligible studies reported various implementations of value-based healthcare initiatives. A qualitative approach was used to analyze their outcome measurements. Outcomes were classified according to a tier-level hierarchy. In a radar chart, we compared literature to cases from Harvard Business Publishing. The value agenda effect reported was described in terms of its impact on each domain of the value equation. A total of 7,195 records were retrieved; 47 studies were included. Forty studies used electronic health record systems for data origin. Only 16 used patient-reported outcome surveys to cover outcome tiers that are important to patients, and 3 reported outcomes to all 6 levels of our outcome measures hierarchy. A considerable proportion of the studies (36%) reported results that contributed to value-based financial outcomes focused on cost savings. However, a gap remains in measuring outcomes that matter to patients. A more complete application of the value agenda by health organizations requires advances in technology and culture change management.

ABSTRACT This study attempts to analyse the historical records and satellite images, and determines the dynamic morphological changes using Remote Sensing (RS) and Geographic Information System (GIS) techniques in order to delineate the paleo-course and the dimensions of the Brahmaputra River. Additionally, land transformations due to route change from Old Brahmaputra-Meghna to Jamuna River were also evaluated. The study revealed that owing to the route changes, the Jamuna River grabbed about 2817 km2 of invaluable land resources that were well developed. Whereas Brahmaputra-Meghna river course was associated with ∼4563 km2 newly developed lands which are currently being used for settlement, business, and agricultural purposes. Thus, if the river system changes its route again and follows the former path, the lands associated with the Brahmaputra-Meghna river course may again be scoured by the river. Hence, it is suggested that the necessary preparations should be adopted to maintain the current flow of the Brahmaputra through the Jamuna River which may help to protect the newly developed landmasses. Since the present route is straighter than the old Brahmaputra course, it would be easier to manage and maintain the current route of the Brahmaputra via the Jamuna River. Finally, a sustainable river basin management approach may be lucrative for both local as well as international communities.

Investigasi faktor pendukung dan penghambat belanja secara online di kota kendari. Intensitas belanja online terus meningkat. Perbaikan ekosistem penunjang terus diusahakan, tetapi sejumlah harapan belumlah di rasakan secara maksimal dan juga resiko masih terus membayangi saat belanja online. Menjadi urgen untuk mengetahui apa yang menjadi faktor pendorong dan penghambat belanja online. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan asosiatif kausal. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh konsumen online, dengan jumlah sampel 204 konsumen online di kota Kendari yang dijangkau menggunakan quesioner yang dikirim via google form. Data dianalisis menggunakan aplikasi SPSS regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menujukkan harapan kinerja, kemudahan penggunaan, pengaruh sosial, hedonis, dan cara pembayaran Cash On Delivery menjadi faktor pendorong belanja online yang sangat signifikan. Sementara dukungan lingkungan dan kemudahan pemesanan nampaknya belum memberikan dampak signifikan dalam mendorong intensitas belanja online. Disisi lain, resiko pengiriman produk dan resiko privasi telah menambah deretan faktor penghambat untuk berbelanja online. Sedangkan resiko kinerja produk dan resiko keamanan tidak lagi menjadi faktor penghambat belanja online yang signifikan.
Technology advancements in the present era have tremendous impact on teaching and learning as well. The present research aims to answer the research question; whether use of technology would help and support autonomous learning and also enhance student engagement? To assess this, blended learning approach was applied in a business course. “Blended learning” refers to combining face-toface learning with online learning experience. The detailed findings of a study conducted to assess the impact of blended learning initiative on student’s engagement and overall learning in a business course has been reported in the paper. In addition, it also draws student’s perspective on blended learning approach. LMS (Learning Management System), the eLearning platform, was extensively used for flipped classroom and other activities which were applied in Organizational Behavior course throughout one semester (16 weeks). Multiple sources were used for data collected; focus-group interviews; student surveys and LMS records. For comparison purpose, the course learning outcome achievement data were collected from two sections of this course; first, the test group (Section A) and second the control group (Section B). The results clearly show an increase in students learning in the test group (where blended learning was applied), in terms of learning outcome achievement and overall engagement with online activities as well as in class activities. This was depicted in their online quiz results, time spent and quality of contribution on online forums, discussions and glossary. According to student’s perspective (test group), they felt motivated as they had some control over time, place or pace for learning. The evidence is found for the positive outcomes of blended learning approach; leads to higher student achievement and improves student engagement. Based on the analysis, the study contributes with its fruitful findings to the literature of Blended learning. Strong implications can be drawn for both the Instructor and the Institutions who wish to implement blended learning approach. Consequently, meaningful reforms in the higher education can be future direction for the government.
Highly competitive and continuous business changes in telecommunication industry make organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) strategically important. This research aims to test the impact of transformational leadership of the direct supervisor on working motivation of the employees. Does supervisor's leadership capability impact on employees' work motivation more intrinsically or extrinsically? The study was conducted in an Indonesian telecommunication company which provides television cable and high-speed internet services for the high-rise building in Java and Sumatra. It involved 199 employees as the respondents. The collected data was analyzed with structural equation modelling approach. The statistical test has proved that transformational leadership has a positive impact on work motivation and organizational citizenship behavior. The motivation – both extrinsic motivation and intrinsic motivation, impacts on organizational citizenship behavior significantly. Although transformational does impact on organizational citizenship behavior both directly and indirectly, but the working motivation does not play a mediating role in the relationship between transformation leadership and organizational citizenship behavior.
This research aimed to 1) study the success factors for knowledge management through electronics industry supply chains, and 2) study guidelines and recommendations regarding the success factors for knowledge management through electronics industry supply chains. The study employed the quantitative research methodology. The statistical devices used included frequency, percentage and Structure Equation Modeling (SEM). The population and sample group comprised executives of the electronics industry in the electronics and electrical appliances sector in Thailand. The results revealed that the factors regarding the information technology system, leadership support and knowledge management had positive effects on the success of the knowledge management through electronics industry supply chains with the statistical significance (β) of 0.519, 0.621 and 0.448, respectively. However, the factors regarding human resource management affected the success of the knowledge management negatively at the statistical significance of 0.323. As for the effects of variables on the success of the knowledge management, it was found that the factors with the most positive indirect effects (IE) and total effects (TE) were those regarding 1) leadership support (IE = 0.278, TE = 0.278), 2) information technology system (IE = 0.233, TE = 0.233), and 3) knowledge management, which had a positive direct effect (DE) at 0.448 and a total effect (TE) at 0.448. However, the factors regarding human resource management had a negative indirect effect (IE) on the success of the knowledge management at -0.145.
The present study aimed at identifying the reasons for the customer's exit and determining their effects on social word-of-mouth through the means of social media applications. Four customer exit drivers were selected after a review of the literature: service failure, service recovery failure, price problems, and customer dissatisfaction as independent variables. The social word-of-mouth was also chosen as a dependent variable. The study sample consisted of 468 users of the social media. The criterion of entry into the sample was the experience of at least one restaurant and the publication of a comment via social media. The number of electronic questionnaires filled by users were 355 questionnaires. The questionnaire consisted of 20 items measuring the study variables, which were extracted after reference to the previous study related to the subject of the study. After confirming the suitability of the study model, the hypotheses were tested. The results show acceptance of all hypotheses, which means that the four customer's exit drivers lead to negative messages through social media, i.e., negative social word-of-mouth. The study recommended that firms should take care of the drivers of customer exit first and then participate in the means of social media to justify their position and contribute to the formulation of a positive opinion. The contribution of this study to literature is that it distinguishes between two types of customer exit drivers that have been studied, which are called controllable drivers by the firm, compared to another type of exit drivers.
Due to the competitiveness of production over the past years, managers have been trying to improve their business performance by increasing productivity and profitability. Maintenance plays an important role in increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of production lines, reducing costs and improving quality. In this paper, a model is presented for the simulation of JIT production systems in different operating conditions with various maintenance policies. The simulation model is designed for a production line that includes five work stations. The results show that the use of CBM can improve the productivity and profitability of production lines.
The objective of the research was to analyze the influence of the factors of capital adequacy ratio, third-party funds, non perfoming loan, operating expense and operating revenue and loan to deposit ratio simultaneously and partially on the financial performance. The population was 41 conventional bank listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2010 to 2014, and 20 were used as the samples, using purposive sampling technique. The data were processed by using multiple linear regression tests with an SPSS software program. The result of the research showed that capital adequacy ratio, third-party funds, non perfoming loan, operating expense and operating revenue and loan to deposit ratio simultaneously on the financial performance. Partially, capital adequacy ratio had positive and significant influence on the financial performance, operating expense and operating revenue had negative and significant influence on the financial performance while third-party funds, non perfoming loan and loan to deposit ratio did not have any significant influence.

This study investigated how debt management impacts the performance of small scale enterprises in the Kumasi Metropolis of Ghana. In total, 120 small scale enterprises were interviewed. The study showed that most small scale businesses lacked in-depth knowledge on the issue of debt management. The study further revealed that the major cause of debts among small scale businesses were lack of advice on the business type and finances, lack of knowledge on the type of business and poor methods of keeping financial records. The study therefore recommends that Small scale businesses must hire financial experts to help them manage their businesses through prudent record keeping. Moreover, it argues that small scale businesses should work within their budgets in order to avoid higher expenditure and subsequent incurring of debts which could be detrimental to the running of their business. It posits that financial institutions should strive to give expert advice on business management to their clients.
Purpose The purpose of this paper is to report the findings of a research project that analyzed records management (RM) and electronic records management (ERM) course syllabi from North American archival studies’ programs. By identifying the convergences and divergences of the topics and literature found within the syllabi, the authors sought to understand the relationship between the two courses and gain insight about how these courses continue to serve as an integral component of archival studies education. Design/methodology/approach The paper is based on a qualitative analysis of 23 RM and 12 ERM course syllabi from 26 academic institutions from North America. The research examined three different aspects of the syllabi: textbooks, required articles and weekly topics. The syllabi were analyzed as separate data sets (RM syllabi and ERM syllabi), which was followed by a comparative analysis of the two types of syllabi. Findings The findings of this study reveal that RM, ERM and (to a lesser extent) DA (digital archives) knowledge as represented in archival education converges in some course contents but diverges in others. Archival educators should pay close attention to overlapping areas so that the courses can better complement each other and advance knowledge representation within archival studies. Research limitations/implications This study only considered graduate-level programs in the USA and Canada. The study did not include syllabi or instructional guides from associate-level programs or professional organizations such as the International Certification of Records Managers or Association of Records Managers and Administrators (ARMA) International. Practical implications The results of this study lead the authors to present two different approaches for how RM and ERM knowledge may be incorporated into archival curriculum. Originality/value This is the first research project to analyze RM and ERM syllabi with regards to the enhancement of records and information management education and archival curriculum development.

Nowadays, Quality function deployment (QFD) is one of the total quality management tools, where customers’ views and requirements are perceived and using various techniques improves the production requirements and operations. The QFD department, after identification and analysis of the competitors, takes customers’ feedbacks to meet the customers’ demands for the products compared with the competitors. In this study, a comprehensive model for assessing the importance of the customer requirements in the products or services for an organization is proposed. The proposed study uses linguistic variables, as a more comprehensive approach, to increase the precision of the expression evaluations. The importance of these requirements specifies the strengths and weaknesses of the organization in meeting the requirements relative to competitors. The results of these experiments show that the proposed method performs better than the other methods.
