Disruptive Solutions for Carbon Neutrality and Sustainable Development: Evidence From <scp>CS</scp>‐<scp>ARDL</scp> Approach

Sunil Tiwari, Arshian Sharif

ABSTRACTNet zero emission and attainment of SDG‐13 was the core agenda in COP 26, 27, and 28. In this regard, the present study measures the nexus between environmental policy stringency, renewable energy, green technology innovation, globalization, and carbon emissions. The CS‐ARDL model is utilized to study the said variables in G7 (Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States) nations. Results reveal that carbon emissions, renewable energy, environmental policy stringency, and globalization are positively associated with green technology innovation and strongly impact the development and implementation of green innovations in the long run, particularly by CO2 emission. Whereas in the short run, the aforementioned associations and impacts are weak and less impactful besides carbon emissions with green innovation. Overall findings show that green technology innovation is the powerful and most crucial tool for the reduction of carbon emissions and climate change impacts. Policy implications are suggested to attain the net zero emission and SDG‐13 in G7 nations through green innovation and its associated products, processes, and practices.

From Sound to Setting: AI-Based Equalizer Parameter Prediction for Piano Tone Replication

Song-Ze Yu

This project presents an AI-based system for tone replication in music production, focusing on predicting EQ parameter settings directly from audio features. Unlike traditional audio-to-audio methods, our approach outputs interpretable parameter values (e.g., EQ band gains) that musicians can further adjust in their workflow. Using a dataset of piano recordings with systematically varied EQ settings, we evaluate both regression and neural network models. The neural network achieves a mean squared error of 0.0216 on multi-band tasks. The system enables practical, flexible, and automated tone matching for music producers and lays the foundation for extensions to more complex audio effects.

Web Content Analysis of <scp>CSR</scp> and <scp>CS</scp> Disclosures in Green Star‐Certified Hotels in Antalya

Ayse Himmetoglu

ABSTRACT This study investigates how corporate social responsibility (CSR) and corporate sustainability (CS) are communicated by Green Star‐certified hotels in Türkiye. A total of 162 five‐star hotels in Antalya were screened through their official websites. Among them, only 13 hotels, representing approximately 8% of the total, disclosed CSR and/or CS‐related information; therefore, the analysis is limited to these hotels. Using qualitative content analysis, disclosures were categorized into social, environmental, and economic dimensions. Findings reveal that environmental disclosures, particularly those related to waste and energy management, were most frequent, while economic disclosures were scarce. The study contributes to theory by extending ethical perspectives with legitimacy, institutional, stakeholder, and signaling frameworks. From a managerial perspective, the paper recommends adopting GRI‐aligned reporting templates, updating website content regularly, and standardizing disclosure of key social and community metrics. Limitations include the small sample size, reliance solely on web content, single time‐point analysis, restriction to Turkish data, and the absence of inter‐coder reliability.

Allpass impulse response modelling

Matt R. Flax

This document defines a method for FIR system modelling which is very trivial as it only depends on phase introduction and removal (allpass filters). As magnitude is not altered, the processing is numerically stable. It is limited to phase alteration which maintains the time domain magnitude to force a system within its linear limits.

Metamathematics of Algorithmic Composition

Michael Gogins

This essay recounts my personal journey towards a deeper understanding of the mathematical foundations of algorithmic music composition. I do not spend much time on specific mathematical algorithms used by composers; rather, I focus on general issues such as fundamental limits and possibilities, by analogy with metalogic, metamathematics, and computability theory. I discuss implications from these foundations for the future of algorithmic composition.

Read it to me: An emotionally aware Speech Narration Application

Rishibha Bansal

In this work we try to perform emotional style transfer on audios. In particular, MelGAN-VC architecture is explored for various emotion-pair transfers. The generated audio is then classified using an LSTM-based emotion classifier for audio. We find that "sad" audio is generated well as compared to "happy" or "anger" as people have similar expressions of sadness.

VISUALISASI GLOBAL WARMING UNTUK SD DENGAN ADOBE FLASH CS

Rohmawati, Rizka Safitri Lutfiyani, Mariana Windarti

One of the obstacles of elementary school learning process is there of material that cannot be directly observed by students. Childrens quickly get bored and not focus on materials like that. Science is one of the subject that has a lot of material that cannot be directly observed, example a global warning. Through learning media with visualization, it be expected that the material can be delivered well. There are four stages of this research, that is data requirenment, design, implementation and testing. The techniques used at the data requirenment stage are interviews and observations. Meanwhile, at the design stage, storyboards and other designs of this learning media were made. In the third stage, the previously created design is implemented by the Adobe Flash CS3 application. The final stage, the results of the design are examined by means of a questionnaire. The result of this research is a learning media made with lots of visuals so that students stay focused on the material. The suggestion of this research is that this research can be developed using a smartphone, android.

Semi-equilibrated global sea-level change projections for the next 10 000 years

Jonas Van Breedam, Heiko Goelzer, Philippe Huybrechts

Abstract. The emphasis for informing policy makers on future sea-level rise has been on projections by the end of the 21st century. However, due to the long lifetime of atmospheric CO2, the thermal inertia of the climate system and the slow equilibration of the ice sheets, global sea level will continue to rise on a multi-millennial timescale even when anthropogenic CO2 emissions cease completely during the coming decades to centuries. Here we present global sea-level change projections due to melting of land ice combined with steric sea effects during the next 10 000 years calculated in a fully interactive way with the Earth System Model of Intermediate Complexity LOVECLIMv1.3. The climate forcing is based on the Extended Concentration Pathways defined until 2300 AD with no carbon dioxide emissions thereafter and the inclusion of a methane-emission feedback for the highest forcing scenario, equivalent to a cumulative CO2 release of around 460 to 5800 GtC. After 10 000 years, the sea-level change rate drops below 0.05 m per century and a semi-equilibrated state is reached. The Greenland ice sheet is found to nearly disappear for all forcing scenarios. The Antarctic ice sheet contributes only about 1.6 m to sea level for the lowest forcing scenario with a limited retreat of the grounding line in West Antarctica. For the higher forcing scenarios, the marine basins of the East Antarctic ice sheet also become ice free, resulting in a sea-level rise of up to 27 m. The global mean sea-level change after 10 000 years ranges from 9.2 m to more than 37 m. The projections of multi-millennial semi-equilibrated sea-level rise for a given CO2 forcing are shown to be in good agreement with geological archives.
