Sound is the voice uttered by the human larynx. The written form of this sound is letters-words-sentences and language. The spelling and meaning of the subject depend on the actual pronunciation of the speaker. If the pronunciation of the sound is not correct, language can never be effective. Again, due to mispronunciation, language regarding spelling, meaning and application fails substantially. Actually, pronunciation is the mirror of a language. If a speaker does not pronounce correctly, the audience resents and abandons him/her. From classroom to meeting, the speaker’s speech comes alive everywhere. For this, the listener can understand the exact meaning by listening to the speaker’s speech. It can be noted that the debut of the Sanskrit language was in the Vedic alphabet. Now a days, however, the Sanskrit language is mostly spoken, read and written in the Bengali alphabet. These paths have been followed in this article. In Sanskrit, pronunciation follows spelling or spelling follows pronunciation. It means that pronunciation and spelling are not changed. In Sanskrit, each letter has its own place of pronunciation. Correct pronunciation is never possible without knowing the actual place of pronunciation. As our main target is the lovers of the Sanskrit language and the ardent students of oratory, we are showing pronunciation place andpronunciation of the Sanskrit alphabet. In this article, the place of pronunciation of the Sanskrit letters, the names of the letters, the pronunciation process of the letters, the pronunciation of the letters, etc. have been presented in the Bengali alphabet.
During the training of highly qualified specialists of the "Business Communications and Translation" program, the course "Linguistic Studies (in German) is studied. In this course, teaching methods and tools are widely used to ensure perception and consolidation with the help of feedback and self-control and taking into account the individual capabilities of students of authentic material of a country science nature. The aforementioned discipline contributes to the formation of communicative and translation competence for effective communication, as well as adequate translation and mutual understanding. Thus, in classes, those methods and teaching tools are widely used, which provide an opportunity to improve students' communication skills in combination with grammar skills. In our study, the methods and means of education are considered through the prism of training students – future translators. This makes it possible to prepare qualified and competitive translators for work on the world market of labour and services with appropriate interdisciplinary coordination of all cycles of humanitarian and specialized educational disciplines. It is a well-known fact, that perfect command of a foreign language involves not only the knowledge and ability of students to correctly use lexical units in combination with grammatical constructions at the level necessary for oral and written communication. In the educational process, students learn to perceive information of authentic content by ear and improve their reproduction skills. In practical classes, future specialists learn to model professional situations in German in order to prepare for foreign language professional communication, as well as when writing business letters, drawing up annotations, able to conduct dialog-conversation, presentation-advertising and presentation-report. When training future translators, it is essential to evaluate the achievements of the culture of native speakers in German-speaking countries, to understand its essence, meaning and role for humanity. The fact of awareness of the importance of using information and computer technologies in order to improve professional activity is integral. It is also worth paying attention to the personal traits of the communicator - the future translator: features of the use of oratory, sociability, self-development skills and self-evaluation in certain professional and communicative situations. Such methods as "Brain-ring", press conference, round aquarium, simulation games, game design, trainings, creation of a situation of success, etc. contribute to this. The following tools are important: the Internet, virtual simulators, audio and video recordings of a creative direction, video conferences, presentations
The article analyses the experience of the management structures of Ancient Greece using the example of the People’s Assembly, the Council of Five Hundred, and the courts of Athens. It is noted that the main feature of political communication in Attica was the direct participation of free citizens in solving problems that ensured the interests of the inhabitants of the polis. At the same time, the issue of the activity of the People’s Assembly, which had a wide range of legislative powers and effective levers of state control, was revealed. The activity of the Council of Five Hundred, which as a representation of the territorial communities of Attica concentrated in its hands part of the powers of the executive power and state control, was studied. The peculiarities of the work of the judicial system, which not only resolved property disputes of citizens, but also partially controlled the political life of the polis, were analysed. It is emphasized how important the birth of the institution of advocacy in the Athenian judicial system became, without which it is impossible to imagine justice in modern Europe. It was noted that the active involvement of free citizens in the work of the mentioned institutions, combined with the personnel rotation system, was supposed to prevent corruption and form the most effective and transparent system of government, with legal and moral legitimacy in the eyes of the free population of Athens. At the same time, it is emphasized that the mass involvement of citizens in administrative structures revealed a number of problems typical for both ancient times and modern Europe. Among them are issues of the professional competence of officials, the level of their civic consciousness, the ability to resist the influence of political technologies, etc. It is noted that the negative phenomena associated with the peculiarities of Athenian democracy were perceived by contemporaries and were lively discussed. This, in particular, is evidenced by monuments of oratory and works of ancient Greek drama. It is emphasized that in ancient Athens, scientific studies of the forms of state power were conducted. In particular, in Aristotle’s writings we find theoretical generalizations of state-building processes both in Ancient Greece in general and in Athens in particular. Some of them still have not lost their relevance. Among them is the problem of raising a conscious and comprehensively developed citizen, the idea of forming a qualified democracy and the importance of the middle class as a guarantee of an effective and stable society, protected from social and political upheavals.

There is no unambiguous perspective on Russia’a cultural and political processes of the second half of the 19th century. Their patterns are largely approached through the lens of the key figures that had a determining influence at a relevant period. Yevgeny Feoktistov was a writer, a journalist, a staff member of the magazines Sovremennik and Otechestvennye Zapiski, the editor of Russkaya Rech and Journal of the Ministry of National Enlightenment (1871–1883), later a censor, the privy councillor (since January 1, 1883), the head of the Central Administration for Printing Press for almost 13 years (1883–1896) (Russia’s censor-in-chief), a senator (from May 23, 1896 until his death), and part of Russia’s administrative elite. He came an impressive way of personal growth that brought him from the ranks of active liberals and Otechestvennye Zapiski journalists to the position of Russia’s censor-in-chief, who signed the order to close that same magazine twenty years later. His biography is partly captured in Ivan Goncharov’s novel The Same Old Story. This article investigates the modifications of linguistic peculiarities in Feoktistov’s essays and statements and draws his linguistic portrait, which doesn’t only explain the patterns of his behavior and everyday style but also sheds light on the shady sides of the events that Russia witnessed in the 1860s–1890s and shapes new optics of the elite circles Feoktistov was part of.

The Russian presence of Dickens can generally be reduced to several types: first, he is a “teacher” admired at the national level, the creator of the “Christmas narrative canon”; second, a mythological figure, his texts being the source of parables and anecdotes; finally, his name has turned into a common thing, an object of everyday life, a symbol in the representative list of European writers. Mandelstams' poem “Dombey and son” is a pattern of Russian Dickensian.

This article examines representations of mental health in young adult (YA) litearature, taking up Stephen Chbosky’s The Perks of Being a Wallflower (1999) as its case study. Paying attention to the affordances of the genre of “teen sick-lit,” I connect such YA literature to the broader field of narrative medicine and consider what can be gained from this relationship. After a careful analysis of Chbosky’s novel, I conclude with a set of criteria that serve as markers of YA texts that productively convey mental health experiences. Although my focus here is on mental illness representations, my criteria and textual analysis can be extended to narratives that focus on other illness and diseases, as well.

This paper examines, from a psychoanalytic standpoint, the intersection between identity and writing in the novel The Real Life of Sebastian Knight (1941) by Vladimir Nabokov. In particular, in the wake of Freud and Lacan, the following contribution will take the notions of desire, signifier, and the process of sublimation involved in artistic creation as interpretative devices. The main focus of the analysis will be the relationship between the two half-brothers of the novel, V (the narrator) and Sebastian. First, I will show that Sebastian Knight holds the role of the object of desire for the characters who have established a close relationship with him and, in particular, for V. Secondly, the paper will be devoted to the analysis of the trauma experienced by the characters because of Sebastian's death, with a particular focus on the narrator's mourning through writing (the fictional biography we read in the novel); in the end, I will give evidence of the so-called signifier’s fallacy, crucial episodes in which the narrator can experience an insight into the truth of desire. Because of the not negligible question of the fictional paternity of The Real Life and the equally essential matter of V’s ‘stylistic touch’, metaliterary aspects of the novel will also be part of the following reading of the text.
