The paper surveys the history and state-of-the-art of the study of Jordan homomorphisms.
Kristo Väljako
In this note it is proven that an idempotent ring cannot be Morita equivalent to its idempotent proper ideal.

$n$-ary algebras of the first degeneration level are described. A detailed classification is given in the cases $n=2,3$.

We prove that the Lie commutator subalgebra of the associative algebra containing a matrix subalgebra is perfect.
Steven Weinell
This paper characterizes the potential behaviors of higher commutators in a simple algebra.
Vladimir Gorbatsevich
The Lie algebras over the algebra of dual numbers are introduced and investigated.
Walter Wyss
We derive two formulae for (A + B)^n, where A and B are elements in a non-commutative, associative algebra with identity.
Be'eri Greenfeld
We construct affine algebras with an arbitrary amount of simple modules of each dimension.

A non-degenerate associative bilinear form and a positive definite symmetric bilinear form on Weyl algebra are constructed.

In a Hom-Malcev algebra an identity, equivalent to the Hom-Malcev identity, is found.

In this article we continue to study $\aleph_0$-injectivity.

In a previous paper we exhibited the somewhat surprising property that most direct links of prime ideals in Gorenstein rings are equimultiple ideals with reduction number $1$. This led to the construction of large families of Cohen--Macaulay Rees algebras. The first goal of this paper is to extend this result to arbitrary Cohen--Macaulay rings. The means of the proof are changed since one cannot depend so heavily on linkage theory. We then study the structure of the Rees algebra of these links, more specifically we describe their canonical module in sufficient detail to be able to characterize self--linked prime ideals. In the last section multiplicity estimates for classes of such ideals are established.

Let A denote the ring of arithmetical functions with unitary convolution, and let V be a finite subset of the positive integers having the property that for every v in V, all unitary divisors of v lie in V. We study the truncation A_V, an artinian monomial quotient of a polynomial ring in finitely many indeterminates, isomorphic to the ``Artinified'' Stanley-Reisner ring C[\bar{Δ(V)}] of a certain simplicial complex Δ(V).

In this note we provide a simple formula of general term of recurrent sequence.

We extend a recent result of McKenzie, and show that it is an undecidable problem to determine if 4 appears in the typeset of a finitely generated, locally finite variety.

The purpose of this paper was to give an algebraic analog of Poincare duality. But there is a mistake in the proof of the main theorem. It will be corrected as soon as possible.
