Vector meson gravitational form factors and generalized parton distributions at finite temperature within the soft-wall AdS/QCD model

Minaya Allahverdiyeva, S. Mamedov

We investigate the vector meson’s gravitational form factors (GFFs) and generalized parton distributions (GPDs) at finite temperatures within the soft-wall AdS/ QCD model. The plotted soft-wall GFFs graphs at zero temperature are close to the hard-wall results (Abidin and Carlson in Phys. Rev. D 77:095007, arXiv:0801.3839 [hep-th], 2008). The dependence on temperature of the GFFs and GPDs is studied using the thermal dilaton approach in the soft-wall model. Plots of thermal GFFs show that they decrease in temperature increase. Also, the gravitational radius of $$\rho $$ ρ meson decreases in temperature growth and becomes zero around the critical temperature $$T_c=0.2 \mathrm{\ GeV}$$ T c = 0.2 GeV . GPDs at zero skewness are plotted and analyzed at zero and finite temperature cases.

Strongly homotopy Lie algebras

T. Lada, M. Markl

The present paper can be thought of as a continuation of the paper "Introduction to sh Lie algebras for physicists" by T. Lada and J. Stasheff (International Journal of Theoretical Physics Vol. 32, No. 7 (1993), 1087--1103, appeared also as preprint hep-th/9209099) which provided an exposition of the basic ingredients of the theory of strongly homotopy Lie algebras sufficient for the underpinnings of the physically relevant examples. We demonstrate the `strong homotopy' analog of the usual relation between Lie and associative algebras and investigate the universal enveloping algebra functor emerging as the left adjoint of the symmetrization functor. We show that the category of homotopy associative algebras carries a natural monoidal structure such that the universal enveloping algebra is a unital coassociative cocommutative coalgebra with respect to this monoidal structure. The last section is concerned with the relation between homotopy modules and weak homotopy maps. The present paper is complementary to what currently exists in the literature, both physical and mathematical.

A new model of agegraphic dark energy

Hao Wei, R. Cai

In this note, we propose a new model of agegraphic dark energy based on the Karolyhazy relation, where the time scale is chosen to be the conformal time eta of the Friedmann-Robertson-Walker (FRW) universe. We find that in the radiation-dominated epoch, the equation-of-state parameter of the new agegraphic dark energy omega(q) = - 1/3 whereas Omega(q) = n(2)a(2); in the matter-dominated epoch, omega(q) = -2/3 whereas Omega(q) = n(2)a(2)/4; eventually, the new agegraphic dark energy dominates; in the late time omega(q) --> -1 when a --> infinity, and the new agegraphic dark energy mimics a cosmological constant. In every stage, all things are consistent. The confusion in the original agegraphic dark energy model proposed in [R.G. Cai, Phys. Lett. B 657 (2007) 228, arXiv: 0707.4049 [hep-th]] disappears in this new model. Furthermore, Omega(q) << 1 is naturally satisfied in both radiation-dominated and matter-dominated epochs where a << 1. In addition, we further extend the new agegraphic dark energy model by including the interaction between the new agegraphic dark energy and background matter. In this case, we find that Wq can cross the phantom divide. (C) 2008 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.

Keywords-Driven and Popularity-Aware Paper Recommendation Based on Undirected Paper Citation Graph

Hanwen Liu, Huaizhen Kou, Chao Yan et al.

Nowadays, scholar recommender systems often recommend academic papers based on users’ personalized retrieval demands. Typically, a recommender system analyzes the keywords typed by a user and then returns his or her preferred papers, in an efficient and economic manner. In practice, one paper often contains partial keywords that a user is interested in. Therefore, the recommender system needs to return the user a set of papers that collectively covers all the queried keywords. However, existing recommender systems only use the exact keyword matching technique for recommendation decisions, while neglecting the correlation relationships among different papers. As a consequence, it may output a set of papers from multiple disciplines that are different from the user’s real research field. In view of this shortcoming, we propose a keyword-driven and popularity-aware paper recommendation approach based on an undirected paper citation graph, named PRkeyword+pop. At last, we conduct large-scale experiments on the real-life Hep-Th dataset to further demonstrate the usefulness and feasibility of PRkeyword+pop. Experimental results prove the advantages of PRkeyword+pop in searching for a set of satisfactory papers compared with other competitive approaches.
