W listach św. Ambrożego z Mediolanu odnaleźć można wiele ciekawych tematów teologicznych, między innymi wątki związane z angelologią. Biskup wierzy, że aniołowie zostali posłani przez Boga, służą Jemu ale też i ludziom, chociażby z tego powodu, że człowiek jest najważniejszym dziełem Stwórcy. Aniołowie, zdaniem Ambrożego, pełnią ważną rolę stróżów i opiekunów względem ludzi. Chociaż zawarta w listach biskupa Mediolanu angelologia nie należy do tematów wiodących, to jednak w oparciu o zawarte w nich wypowiedzi można odczytać, w jaki sposób postrzegał on świat aniołów.

El objetivo de este artículo es analizar la transición de los cultos tradicionales desarrollados en la ciudad sagrada de Díon, en Macedonia, al cristianismo. Por medio del estudio de las fuentes disponibles, principalmente arqueológicas y epigráficas, se expone la información que tenemos acerca del periodo cristiano de Díon, para tratar de explicar los procesos de cambio de las prácticas religiosas de sus habitantes. Este fenómeno se caracteriza por el abandono paulatino de los santuarios, en paralelo a la construcción de estructuras de culto cristiano.

Gertrudę z Nivelles w świetle nowych trendów kulturowych poruszonych przez tzw. „gender studies” oraz w kontekście tych lat, które przy­czyniły się bardziej niż inne do powstania tak zwanego „zachodniego chrześcijań­stwa”. Przez pryzmat działań młodej ksieni merowińskiej, w kluczowym czasie przygotowującym renesans karoliński, możemy obserwować całkowicie orygi­nalny model kobiecej świętości.

The paper is a preliminary outline of the history of views on the teaching of speech to children in ancient thinkers, especially Aristotle, Romans from the times of Republic and Empire, as well as the Church Fathers, especially Western, inclu­ding Augustine in order to determine what John Chrysostom wrote and said on that subject. All the above-mentioned were not really interested in teaching speech to infants and children but in the physiology of this phenomenon (especially Aristotle) and creating the most favorable environment for the shaping of speech through the selection of nannies and child minders. There were no attempts, as Augustine aptly wrote, to teach speech consciously; it was the child himself that had to associate the sound with its material, meaningful background through ob­servations and repeating experiences. What is more, both moral philosophers and Church Fathers described in a friendly manner (also Chrysostom) talking to chil­dren using a special, childlike language since it pleased and still pleases adults, although spoils the way children speak. The Classic Antiquity, which took care about the proper speech and promoted (like Church Fathers) rhetoric in everyday life and science, forgot about the basics, the process of creating speech, which re­sulted from depreciation of the first stage of children’s life, condemned to contacts with slaves – nannies. It was only the school age that stirred up stronger emo­tions but, as some moral philosophers wrote, children already had speech defects, among others, because of parental consent for the language deprivation.

Die Verfasserin des Aufsatzes stellt fest, dass Karol Wojtyła das grundlegende Wissen im Bereich der Literatur, Geschichte und Theologie wahrend des Studiums in den Jahren 1942-1946 an der Theologischen Fakultat der Jagellonen-Universitat in Krakau errungen hat. Er verdankte es vor allem den drei hervorragenden Universitatsprofessoren: Eugeniusz Florkowski, Marian Michalski und Ignacy Różycki. Die patristische Formung, die er dort bekommen hat, brachte Friichte in seiner didaktischen und wissenschaftlichen Arbeit. Die Gestalt des heiligen Augustinus war ihm besonders nahe. In seinen Vorlesungen Wartość i dobro (Der Wert und das Gute) veróffentlicht 1988 im Buch Wykłady lubelskie (Lubliner Vorlesungen), im Studienjahr 1956/1957 an der Katholischen Universitat von Lublin getragen, hat Karol Wojtyła die ausgezeichnete Bekanntschaft seiner Schriften gezeigt. Auf die Meinungen des hl. Augustinus bezog er sich auch im Buch Miłość i odpowiedzialność (Liebe und Verantwortung), herausgegeben im Jahre 1960 in Lublin.

The author of this work tries to answer the question: „what picture of St. Peter is showed by the first Gospel?". It appears that the figure of St. Peter is not changed meaningly in texts taking over from Mark's version (4,18; 8 ,14nn; 6, 18; 16, 23; 17, 1-8; 26, 33; 26, 69-75) by Matthew. Meaning of describing events is the same in both cases though a little changes emphasizes the role of Apostles' Prince. In the other hand, missing by Matthew Mark's texts about Peter (Mk 1, 36; 5, 37; 13, 3; 16, 7) is not the trial of decreasing the role of St. Peter. There are three novelty Matthew's texts in view of St. Peter's person. These texts don't run parallel to synoptics' words. There are: going to Jesus on the water (14, 28-31), confession somewhere Caesarea Philippi way (16, 16-19) and the matter of temple taxes (17, 24-27). The most suggestive is the person of St. Peter in the fundamental! texts for Matthew Mt 16, 17-19. It is obvious that meaning and priority of St. Peter comes down from earth activity of Jesus.

The paper examines a Late Latin construction consisting of a relative or an interrogative pronoun followed by a bare infinitive. It has been often proposed that the syntactic structure of such sentences results from a contamination of two distinct clause types. This paper proposes an analysis in terms of the Minimalist framework, rejecting the traditional approach and explaining syntactic and semantic properties of the structure on the basis of mechanisms independently motivated for other Latin structures. The surface shape of such clauses is argued to result from changes in morphological parameters. The analysis provides therefore support for the thesis that language change involves primarily the morphological module, which remains the main locus of diachronic and synchronic variation.

Pronunciar una laudatio tiene tanto de honor como de osadía. Honor por poder elevar la voz elogiando y evocando la figura de alguien a quien todos debemos algo, osadía por creer que se puede hacer bien y con justicia. Quien conozca al profesor Antonino González Blanco sabrá que ha sido y es un hombre dedicado plenamente a su familia y a su trabajo con toda la energía de la que es capaz; y quien le conoce sabe que esa energía es mucha. Su aportación a la ciencia ha sido extraordinariamente fecunda, despertando el asombro de cualquiera ante una actividad en la que cabrían muchas vidas, pues como todos sabemos, la historia de la Antigüedad no ha sido el único campo en que se ha movido don Antonino, quien ha cultivado también la antropología, la arqueología, la toponimia y heráldica, entre otras ciencias. En efecto, ante sus muchos servicios prestados podríamos hablar hasta cansarnos; en especial si nos referimos a sus investigaciones en campos hasta entonces inéditos o poco conocidos en la historiografía de este viejo reino de Murcia. Fue él quien impulsó los estudios de la toponimia, que se habría perdido irremisiblemente sin su trabajo tanto de documentación como de campo, porque entrevistó a gentes de muy diversa condición municipio por municipio y comarca por comarca. Asimismo debemos recordar aquí la catalogación de la heráldica de la Región, también municipio a municipio, que igualmente hubiera sido poco conocida y notables ejemplos hubieran permanecido inéditos sin su aportación. Recordamos también aquí sus empeños, recogidos en varios libros y congresos para estudiar la red de caminos y el poblamiento antiguo en Murcia. (...)

Los hallazgos de monedas en el Cabezo Roenas, ya conocidos desde antiguo1, no han sido, sin embargo, muy numerosos en las diversas campañas de excavaciones llevadas a cabo. Ello se explica si tenemos en cuenta que este tipo de hallazgos se concentran, como en otras ciudades del mundo antiguo, en determinados lugares propicios para ello, los cuales no han sido aún puestos al descubierto; no hay que olvidar, asimismo, que lo hasta ahora excavado no es sino una mínima parte del conjunto excavable, el cual promete, sin duda, nuevos e interesantes resultados, considerando las especiales características del yacimiento, enclavado cronológicamente en ese mundo tardoantiguo tan poco conocido en sus diferentes aspectos, incluido el numismático.
