Integrating positive energy representations of the Virasoro algebra
André G. Henriques, James E. Tener
We show that every unitary positive energy representation W of the Virasoro algebra exponentiates to a holomorphic *-representation of the semigroup of annuli by bounded operators on the Hilbert space completion of W. We use this to show that every representation of the Virasoro conformal net also carries a representation of the semigroup of annuli of the same kind.
El juicio de Salomé
Paula Echalecu

Canto a tenore e altre polifonie sarde. Riflessioni e proposte attorno alla Convenzione UNESCO ICH 2003
Matteo Casari, Diego Pani
The article examines the evolution of UNESCO's paradigms concerning the Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH 2003) compared to the Convention for the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage (1972). Specifically, employing an anthropological approach, the analysis centers on authenticity and cultural identity. As a case study, the article takes the "Canto a tenore, Sardinian pastoral songs," inscribed in the list of intangible cultural heritage due to its association with pastoralism. The objective is to contemplate the limitations and challenges associated with this designation and the broader issues surrounding ICH 2003. The article explores the journey undertaken by Sardinian singers and institutions following its recognition in 2005, culminating in Modas, the most recent initiative to study and preserve the practice of tenore singing. Through its activities, this project aspires to be more inclusive of polyphonic practices featuring multiple vocal components that have not yet found a place on UNESCO's list.

Fusion systems in representation theory
Benjamin Sambale
These notes arose from three lectures on fusion system I gave at the University of Valencia in February 2023. We first consider fusion phenomena in classical group theory. Then we develop the abstract theory of fusion systems. Finally applications to representation theory are given. We will not consider applications in topology.

The Songs of Black Experiences
Luciano Mendes de Jesus, Sayonara Sousa Pereira
It is proposed in the paper to observe the role of African-diasporic songs in the work of Jerzy Grotowski and in the context of continued research at the Workcenter of Jerzy Grotowski and Thomas Richards. We reflect on the songs from their epistemological and political potencies and as fundamental elements for an ethnic-racial discursivity in studies of this important work in the field of performing arts. The notion of songs of black experiences proposes the understanding of the term tradition songs, central in Grotowski’s work, as means of communication of diasporic and Afro-descendant experiences, contrary to the solely instrumental and uncritical use of these performative technologies.

Refusal and Adhesion: resistance between studies of cognition and theater education
André Luiz Lopes Magela
This article presents reflections on certain public education policy guidelines, oriented to the labor market and exemplified by Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) recommendations, concerning their influence on artistic education and, more precisely, theater education. It addresses existing problems in the field of education in Brazil and France, with emphasis on conceptual causes. In a possible contribution to debates on utilitarianism in theater education, the concept of resistance, present in Michel Foucault’s works, is used as mediator in the utilization of cognition studies to analyze the planning, practice and evaluation of theater classes in primary schools.

Artivismo in rete. Le beffe degli anni Dieci
Martina Coletti

Non-commutative Rank and Semi-stability of Quiver Representations
Alana Huszar
Fortin and Reutenauer defined the non-commutative rank for a matrix with entries that are linear functions. The non-commutative rank is related to stability in invariant theory, non-commutative arithmetic circuits, and Edmonds' problem. We will generalize the non-commutative rank to the representation theory of quivers and define non-commutative Hom and Ext spaces. We will relate these new notions to King's criterion for $σ$-stability of quiver representations, and the general Hom and Ext spaces studied by Schofield. We discuss polynomial time algorithms that compute the non-commutative Homs and Exts and find an optimal witness for the $σ$-semi-stability of a quiver representation.

Lectures on the Geometry and Modular Representation Theory of Algebraic Groups
Joshua Ciappara, Geordie Williamson
These notes provide a concise introduction to the representation theory of reductive algebraic groups in positive characteristic, with an emphasis on Lusztig's character formula and geometric representation theory. They are based on the first author's notes from a lecture series delivered by the second author at the Simons Centre for Geometry and Physics in August 2019. We intend them to complement more detailed treatments.
Szczęśliwy książę Jana Dormana jako autoarchiwum
Magdalena Rewerenda
The paper proposes to study the documentation of Jan Dorman’s production based on Oscar Wilde’s Happy Prince as a model for Jan Dorman’s thinking about a connection and a feedback loop between theatre and archive. The production forms the basis for a more detailed examination of Dorman’s multi-layered interest in his own archive as well as the ways in which memories of his art and private life can be preserved. Using the findings developed in the area of archival turn and hauntology, the paper elaborates on the most important spheres of Dorman’s intentional self-archiving: his frantic collecting and cataloguing, the habit of constructing a cultural repository for himself and his co-workers, confabulating and self-mythologising, recycling of objects, characters and motifs to be used again in subsequent productions. In the resulting vision of Dorman’s archive, it appears to be a deliberately constructed performative space rather than merely a collection of material traces of his professional and private life.

Contragredient representations over local fields of positive characteristic
Wen-Wei Li
It is conjectured by Adams-Vogan and Prasad that under the local Langlands correspondence, the L-parameter of the contragredient representation equals that of the original representation composed with the Chevalley involution of the L-group. We verify a variant of their prediction for all connected reductive groups over local fields of positive characteristic, in terms of the local Langlands parameterization of Genestier-Lafforgue. We deduce this from a global result for cuspidal automorphic representations over function fields, which is in turn based on a description of the transposes of V. Lafforgue's excursion operators.
0-cycles on Grassmannians as representations of projective groups
R. Bezrukavnikov, M. Rovinsky
Let $F$ be an infinite division ring, $V$ be a left $F$-vector space, $r>0$ be an integer. We study the structure of the representation of the linear group $\mathrm{GL}_F(V)$ in the vector space of formal finite linear combinations of $r$-dimensional vector subspaces of $V$ with coefficients in a field $K$. This gives a series of natural examples of irreducible infinite-dimensional representations of projective groups. These representations are non-smooth if $F$ is locally compact and non-discrete.
Luigi Rasi
Francesca Simoncini
An atypical actor of the 19th century theatre world, Luigi Rasi retired from the stage early to assume, in 1882, the direction of the Royal Acting School in Florence. His most famous work, I Comici italiani. Biografia, Bibliografia, Iconografia, a two-volume biographical dictionary (1897-1905), is still regarded today as a precious source for the history of actors. The bibliographical and documentary material gathered by Rasi during his studies is kept at the Museo Biblioteca of Burcardo in Rome.

On Generalized Minors and Quiver Representations
Dylan Rupel, Salvatore Stella, Harold Williams
The cluster algebra of any acyclic quiver can be realized as the coordinate ring of a subvariety of a Kac-Moody group -- the quiver is an orientation of its Dynkin diagram, defining a Coxeter element and thereby a double Bruhat cell. We use this realization to connect representations of the quiver with those of the group. We show that cluster variables of preprojective (resp. postinjective) quiver representations are realized by generalized minors of highest-weight (resp. lowest-weight) group representations, generalizing results of Yang-Zelevinsky in finite type. In type $A_n^{\!(1)}$ and finitely many other affine types, we show that cluster variables of regular quiver representations are realized by generalized minors of group representations that are neither highest- nor lowest-weight; we conjecture this holds more generally.
