Mityczna historia. Czas w Podróży komediantów i Spojrzeniu Odyseusza Teo Angelopulosa
Wojciech Sławnikowski
The article centres on two films by Theo Angelopoulos, The Travelling Players and Ulysses’ Gaze, which are analysed with respect to time and with a particular emphasis on the issue of mythical and historical time. Crucial to the presentation of the temporal structure of the films are techniques such as the “editing of time” and foregrounding of duration through the use of long takes. Mythical time is analysed with reference to the theories of myth developed by Mircea Eliade and Claude Lévi-Strauss, which help to show how Angelopoulos melds together the two seemingly mutually exclusive times. Historical time is examined with reference to Krzysztof Pomian’s theory of time. Interpretative conclusions derived from that theory relate to the differences between the two films’ approach to representing history, with The Travelling Players using hindsight for a historiosophical synthesis of Greek history and Ulysses’ Gaze portraying an inability of such synthesis without hindsigh.

Micro-packets containing generic representations
Nicolas Arancibia Robert
For a real group $G$, it is known from the work of Kostant and Vogan that the L-packet associated with an L-parameter $\varphi$ of $G$ contains a \emph{generic} representation if and only if the ${}^{\vee}G$-orbit in the variety of geometric parameters corresponding to $\varphi$ is open. In these notes, we generalize this result slightly by proving that the same equivalence holds when the L-packet of $\varphi$ is replaced by the micro-packet attached to $\varphi$ by Adams-Barbasch-Vogan. As a corollary, we deduce the Enhanced Shahidi Conjecture for real groups: the Arthur packet attached to an A-parameter $ψ$ of $G$ contains a generic representation if and only if $ψ|_{\mathrm{SL}_2}$ is trivial.

Projective (or spin) representations of finite groups. II
Tatsuya Tsurii, Satoe Yamanaka, Itsumi Mikami
et al.
In the previous paper, we proposed a practical method of constructing explicitly representation groups $R(G)$ for finite groups $G$, and apply it to certain typical finite groups $G$ with Schur multiplier $M(G)$ containing prime number 3. In this paper, we construct a complete list of irreducible projective (or spin) representations of $G$ and compute their characters (called spin characters). It is a continuation of our study of spin representations in the cases where $M(G)$ contains prime number 2 to the cases where other prime $p$ appears, firstly $p=3$. We classify irreducible spin representations and calculate spin characters according to their spin types.
L'ingegneria drammatica di Mattia Pirandello
Alessio Arena

The Polish demoscene – between the past and the future. Conversation with Łukasz Szałankiewicz
Marcin Pigulak
In 2021, the National Institute of Cultural Heritage approved the application to include the demoscene in the UNESCO National List of Intangible Cultural Heritage. The Social Committee of the Polish Demoscene Chronicles was responsible for coordinating these activities. The organization aims to document and analyse traditions related to the domestic demoscene. The conversation between Marcin Pigulak (historian of digital games) and Łukasz Szałankiewicz (lecturer, multimedia artist and representative of the Polish Demoscene Chronicles) focuses on the history of the Polish demoscene, its specific nature compared to other digital cultures and contemporary strategies to preserve its heritage.

Solid locally analytic representations
Joaquín Rodrigues Jacinto, Juan Esteban Rodríguez Camargo
We develop the $p$-adic representation theory of $p$-adic Lie groups on solid vector spaces over a complete non-archimedean extension of $\mathbb{Q}_p$. More precisely, we define and study categories of solid, solid locally analytic and solid smooth representations. We show that the category of solid locally analytic representations of a compact $p$-adic Lie group is equivalent to that of quasi-coherent modules over its algebra of locally analytic distributions, generalizing a classical result of Schneider and Teitelbaum. For arbitrary $G$, we prove an equivalence between solid locally analytic representations and quasi-coherent sheaves over certain locally analytic classifying stack over $G$. We also extend our previous cohomological comparison results from the case of a compact group defined over $\mathbb{Q}_p$ to the case of an arbitrary group, generalizing results of Lazard and Casselman-Wigner. Finally, we study an application to the locally analytic $p$-adic Langlands correspondence for $\mathrm{GL}_1$.
Baby bead representations
Geoffrey Powell
This paper is motivated by the study of Turchin and Willwacher's bead representations. The problem is reformulated here in terms of the Lie algebra homology of a free Lie algebra with coefficients in tensor products of the adjoint representation. The main idea is to exploit the truncation of the coefficients given by killing Lie brackets of length greater than two. Although this truncation is brutal, it retains significant and highly non-trivial information, as exhibited by explicit results. A dévissage is used that splits the problem into two steps, separating out a `homology' calculation from `antisymmetrization'. This involves some auxiliary categories, including a generalization of the upper walled Brauer category. This approach passes through the `baby bead representations' of the title, for which complete results are obtained. As an application, the composition factors of Turchin and Willwacher's bead representations are calculated for a new infinite family.
Quasi-polynomial representations of double affine Hecke algebras
Siddhartha Sahi, Jasper Stokman, Vidya Venkateswaran
We introduce an explicit family of representations of the double affine Hecke algebra $\mathbb{H}$ acting on spaces of quasi-polynomials, defined in terms of truncated Demazure-Lusztig type operators. We show that these quasi-polynomial representations provide concrete realizations of a natural family of cyclic $Y$-parabolically induced $\mathbb{H}$-representations. We recover Cherednik's well-known polynomial representation as a special case. The quasi-polynomial representation gives rise to a family of commuting operators acting on spaces of quasi-polynomials. These generalize the Cherednik operators, which are fundamental in the study of Macdonald polynomials. We provide a detailed study of their joint eigenfunctions, which may be regarded as quasi-polynomial, multi-parametric generalizations of nonsymmetric Macdonald polynomials. We also introduce generalizations of symmetric Macdonald polynomials, which are invariant under a multi-parametric generalization of the standard Weyl group action. We connect our results to the representation theory of metaplectic covers of reductive groups over non-archimedean local fields. We introduce root system generalizations of the metaplectic polynomials from our previous work by taking a suitable restriction and reparametrization of the quasi-polynomial generalizations of Macdonald polynomials. We show that metaplectic Iwahori-Whittaker functions can be recovered by taking the Whittaker limit of these metaplectic polynomials.
Representation of Plesken Lie algebras
P. G. Romeo, S. N. Arjun
Cohen and Taylor introduced Plesken Lie algebras of finite groups and studied their structural properties. As a further step, we will introduce Plesken Lie algebra representations, Plesken Lie algebra modules and discuss the irreducibility property.
A note on étale representations from nilpotent orbits
Heiko Dietrich, Wolfgang Globke, Marcos Origlia
A linear étale representation of a complex algebraic group $G$ is given by a complex algebraic $G$-module $V$ such that $G$ has a Zariski-open orbit on $V$ and $\dim G=\dim V$. A current line of research investigates which étale representations can occur for reductive algebraic groups. Since a complete classification seems out of reach, it is of interest to find new examples of étale representations for such groups. The aim of this note is to describe two classical constructions of Vinberg and of Bala & Carter for nilpotent orbit classifications in semisimple Lie algebras, and to determine which reductive groups and étale representations arise in these constructions. We also explain in detail the relation between these two~constructions.
On The Faithfulness of the extension of Lawrence-Krammer representation of the group of conjugating automorphisms C_3
Mohamad N. Nasser, Mohammad N. Abdulrahim
Let $C_n$ be the group of conjugating automorphisms. We study the representation $ρ$ of $C_n$, an extension of Lawrence-Krammer representation of the braid group $B_n$, defined by Valerij G. Bardakov. As Bardakov proved that the representation $ρ$ is unfaithful for $n \geq 5$, the cases $n=3,4$ remain open. In our work, we make attempts towards the faithfulness of $ρ$ in the case $n=3$.

O DESENHO DA PERFORMANCE NO CONTEXTO DA 14ª EDIÇÃO DA QUADRIENAL DE PRAGA: TEATRALIDADE TESTEMUNHAL EM THIS BUILDING TALKS TRULY
Dalmir Rogério Pereira
This article approaches the performance design from
a case study of the exhibition project This Building
Talks Truly directed by the Republic of North Macedonia and awarded with a Golden Trout of the best
project at the Exhibition of Countries and Regions
of the 14th edition of the Quadrennial of Prague of
Performance Design and Space. The study proposes the problematization of the “public quality of the
work” (CORNAGO, 2019) conceived in the form of
a situation and / or device in which the strategies
for activating space through performance will be analyzed. Specifically in the condition of activity and
symbolic gesture inserted in the community social
sphere and its displacement to the exhibition space.
For the analysis, the concept of theatricality will be
used as a reading operator based on the notion of
“testimonial theatricality” (CABALLERO, 2016) defined by the author as a strategy capable of making
visible and warning processes of deterioration and
annihilation of communities in the relationship between subject and space. In this sense, theatricality
acts as an expanded device capable of influencing
the disposition of behaviors and events located in the
context of scenic practices such as social discourse
and cultural intervention. Condition that authorizes
the theoretical and practical displacement of the
perspective of the scene design while aimed at the
productions of supposed daily aesthetics, beyond
the theater and the arts. The Expository Project acts
as a mosaic of overlaps, displacements of languages and situations with the gravitational center as the
synthesis event - a long-term community relational
program - developed in the occupied Railway Building.
In this sense, it is assumed that regardless of cultural,
economic and geographical reality, testimonial theatricality as a device, acts as a mechanism that generates liminal spaces capable of suspending, transiting
and reorganizing languages and realities in experimental models of “anti-structure” (TURNER, 2013).

Kieślowski in Spain: History, Reception and Inspiration
Joanna Bardzińska
The films of Krzysztof Kieślowski arrived in Spain comparatively late, and when they did so this was mainly due to the Film Festivals at San Sebastián and Valladolid, as well the efforts of independent producers like the brothers José María and Miguel Morales of Wanda Films. In 1988, A Short Film About Love was presented at the San Sebastián Festival, where it won the Special Prize and the FIPRESCI Prize, and caught the attention of Spanish critics. To this day, Kieślowski remains the Polish director best-known to the Spanish – as was made clear in 2016, by the numerous events and screenings marking the 20th anniversary of his death. There can be no doubt that, in the homeland of Buñuel, no other Polish director evokes as much enthusiasm. Considering the Spanish reaction to the maker of the Three Colours, this article focuses on the distribution of Kieślowski’s works in Spain, as well as the director’s presence at the Spanish Festivals. Further subjects of analysis are reviews by Spanish critics and the state of research into Kieslowski’s creative output in the Spanish language, as well as the release of his films on DVD and Blu-Ray. The above focus on festivals, the attitudes of critics, and the popularity among the Spanish viewing public is supplemented by a study of the impact of Kieślowski’s output on the work of Spanish directors, as well as efforts to discern the direct influence of the former’s films in offering the latter inspiration.
