Selling through livestreaming has become a popular sales method and increasingly a preferred choice for retailers alongside traditional sales channels. Products that are intuitive and evoke purchasing emotions at first sight such as clothes, beauty products and household appliances are recorded with high revenue through livestream selling. This study aimed to evaluate the impact of various livestream sales elements including engaging sales content and sellers on customer attitude, trust and purchase intention for fashion products; investigate the factor of promotions moderating the relationship between the three factors above in the live shopping process. A linear structural model was used to analyze data from 324 customers shopping by livestream on TikTok. The results show that (1) Attractive content and streamers make significant contributions to the effectiveness of livestream sales. (2) engaging sales content, directly and indirectly, impacts purchasing intention through customer attitude and trust. (3) The influence of streamers does not have a direct impact but an indirect impact on purchase intention through customer attitude and trust. (4) Promotional programs influence purchase intention but do not moderate the relationship between trust and purchase intention and negatively moderate the relationship between attitude and purchase intention.

Purpose: Virtual fitting rooms allow online sportswear consumers to try on clothes before shopping. This technology has recently received much attention due to its many benefits to sports consumers and commercial potential. Still, it has not yet entered Iran, and there is no information regarding its adoption by Iranian consumers. This research investigates the adoption of this technology by Iranian online sportswear consumers.Methodology: This research is applied and developmental in terms of purpose and exploratory in terms of implementation method. In this research, a mixed method (quantitative, qualitative) has been used, in which the Delphi qualitative method precedes the quantitative method. In the qualitative phase, 20 experts in the sportswear industry were selected through snowball sampling. In the quantitative phase, a survey of 394 online shoppers of sportswear products was conducted on social networks. Structural equation modelling was used to test the hypotheses. SMART PLS and SPSS 23 software were used for data analysis.Findings: The results supported the positive effect of the factors perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, perceived enjoyment, and fashion leadership, as well as the negative impact of technology anxiety on adopting this technology. The results have practical implications for sports managers, retailers, and sportswear industries regarding adopting the best management and marketing strategies for virtual fitting rooms.Originality: This study examines the innovation of virtual fitting room technology among Iranian sportswear consumers for the first time. Virtual fitting rooms play a significant role in saving time, energy, and money for sports consumers and protecting their privacy. Also, this technology is a fantastic promotional device for sports industries and retailers if Iranian sportswear consumers accept it.

In the near future, space-borne gravitational wave (GW) detector LISA can open the window of low-frequency band of GW and provide new tools to test gravity theories. In this work, we consider multi-parameter tests of GW generation and propagation where the deformation coefficients are varied simultaneously in parameter estimation and the principal component analysis (PCA) method are used to transform posterior samples into new bases for extracting the most informative components. The dominant components can be more sensitive to potential departures from general relativity (GR). We extend previous works by employing Bayesian parameter estimation and performing both tests with injections of GR and injections of subtle GR-violated signals. We also apply multi-parameter tests with PCA in the phenomenological test of GW propagation. This work complements previous works and further demonstrates the enhancement provided by the PCA method. Considering a supermassive black hole binary system as the GW source, we show that subtle departures will be more obvious in posteriors of PCA parameters. The departures less than $1σ$ in original parameters can yield significant departures in first 5 dominant PCA parameters.
We consider quantum algebras of observables associated with subregions in theories of Einstein gravity coupled to matter in the $G_N\rightarrow 0$ limit. When the subregion is spatially compact or encompasses an asymptotic boundary, we argue that the algebra is a type II von Neumann factor. To do so in the former case we introduce a model of an observer living in the region; in the latter, the ADM Hamiltonian effectively serves as an observer. In both cases the entropy of states on which this algebra acts is UV finite, and we find that it agrees, up to a state-independent constant, with the generalized entropy. For spatially compact regions the algebra is type II$_1$, implying the existence of an entropy maximizing state, which realizes a version of Jacobson's entanglement equilibrium hypothesis. The construction relies on the existence of well-motivated but conjectural states whose modular flow is geometric at an instant in time. Our results generalize the recent work of Chandrasekaran, Longo, Penington, and Witten on an algebra of operators for the static patch of de Sitter space.

In addition, the main principle is integrating the design and construction phases in a parallel way, where the basic elements of the project time, cost and quality will not be influenced by each other. some of the projects are established by some construction companies in developing countries in the world have been failed to manage and solve the weaknesses points in these projects and sometimes failures due to the increase in cost or the low level of quality, as found by the field survey. Therefore, the research aim is to develop and apply the general planning mechanisms of the project to get the development of projects detailed plans to control the factors time, cost and quality of the executed works. The main results of the study were, depending on the choice of the target function, can give early or late start times by linear programming solutions for all nodes or events in the project domain; so the early start times of the project should be determined first. The supposed project domain includes a number of nodes ranging from (1-m), as node (1) led to represent the opening of the project activity work and node (m) represent the end of the project and that will be found the balance between the (PMT) elements.
This paper critically reviews and observes the nature of contemporary careers and the orientation in which careers research has advanced over the past decade. The contemporary concept of career refers to an individual’s pursuit of career advancement without being restricted to a single job in a single company. Specifically, career concepts that appeared in the 1990s, including the protean and boundaryless career frameworks, and the next generation of career concept, including integrative frameworks, hybrid careers, and the kaleidoscope career model, are discussed. These models and theories all focus on the change in the concept of career management for individuals. This change occurred because of the developments taking place in this era, including economic aspects, globalization, and technology. This review aims to improve our understanding of careers in today’s dynamic work environment, especially after the COVID-19 pandemic and the rapid changes that Saudi Arabia is witnessing at all levels. The challenges facing individuals in career advancement during this period are different from previous ones, so researchers should study the effects of the pandemic on changing the behavior of individuals towards the concept of career management. This review provides a comprehensive discussion of current theories and offers major questions for future research.

This paper shows that the Poisson multi-Bernoulli mixture (PMBM) density is a multi-target conjugate prior for general target-generated measurement distributions and arbitrary clutter distributions. That is, for this multi-target measurement model and the standard multi-target dynamic model with Poisson birth model, the predicted and filtering densities are PMBMs. We derive the corresponding PMBM filtering recursion. Based on this result, we implement a PMBM filter for point-target measurement models and negative binomial clutter density in which data association hypotheses with high weights are chosen via Gibbs sampling. We also implement an extended target PMBM filter with clutter that is the union of Poisson-distributed clutter and a finite number of independent clutter sources. Simulation results show the benefits of the proposed filters to deal with non-standard clutter.
The article shows what problems interested humanities scholars and publicists in the prewar period of the Soviet history and how these problems were covered from new methodological positions. The works created at that time by historians of the old school are examined, it is emphasized that even in articles written by authors who have not mastered Marxist theory, much attention is paid to the problems of the life of the masses, the manifestations of the class struggle, and public relations in Stavropol villages. The activity of local history societies and organizations is highlighted. Researchers paid much attention to the problems of the agrarian history of Stavropol, works of this time, as a rule, affect both the pre-Soviet and Soviet periods, since most of them give comparative material. In the 1920s, when the ways of agricultural development were not yet determined, the practical needs of the agricultural sector caused increased attention to the issues of developing cooperation, forms of land ownership and land use in the past. The restructuring of the economy in a socialist manner in the late 1920s and early 1930s is reflected in the journalistic articles of party and Soviet leaders. In the period under review, the history of the revolutionary movement and the struggle for power of the Soviets became the most relevant topics for research. The article discusses the activities of Eastparts - commissions on the history of the revolutionary movement and civil war. It is shown that these organizations, including the Stavropol Istpart, have done a lot to collect and publish materials on this topic. The analysis of journal publications is given, the errors made by the authors are revealed. The widespread publication of the memoirs of participants in revolutionary events, characteristic of the 1920s, was not accompanied by a critical check, therefore, over articles containing incorrect information or a controversial assessment of events, discussions arose in which both historians and participants in the events took part. The characteristic is given to generalizing works on the history of the October Revolution and the Civil war in the Stavropol Territory.

This article examines a rare phenomenon in nineteenth-century British print culture, a periodical jointly edited by a husband and wife team. Howitt’s Journal, a weekly miscellany with a progressive political agenda, ran for only eighteen months from January 1847 to June 1848, edited by William and Mary Howitt. The history of Howitt’s Journal is particularly relevant to the question of women’s agency in the world of periodicals, the ways in which women editors could have a public voice and engage in debate on political and social issues. One methodological issue the article raises is how we assess an editor’s contribution to any publication, the nature of their input, and the extent to which they drive the agenda. In the case of a joint editorship, how do we identify the contributions and responsibilities of each editor? The paper is based on an examination of Mary Howitt’s unpublished letters in the Houghton Library, Harvard, which provide new evidence of the extent of her involvement in the Journal. It tests the Howitts’ editorial style, and Mary’s in particular, against theories of editorship put forward by Patten and Finkelstein (2006) and Matthew Philpotts (2012) and suggests that these models of editorship are essentially masculine.
This work proposes an overview of the recent semi-supervised learning approaches and related works. Despite the remarkable success of neural networks in various applications, there exist a few formidable constraints, including the need for a large amount of labeled data. Therefore, semi-supervised learning, which is a learning scheme in which scarce labels and a larger amount of unlabeled data are utilized to train models (e.g., deep neural networks), is getting more important. Based on the key assumptions of semi-supervised learning, which are the manifold assumption, cluster assumption, and continuity assumption, the work reviews the recent semi-supervised learning approaches. In particular, the methods in regard to using deep neural networks in a semi-supervised learning setting are primarily discussed. In addition, the existing works are first classified based on the underlying idea and explained, then the holistic approaches that unify the aforementioned ideas are detailed.
Este artigo teve como objetivo analisar a resposta do músculo espástico do membro superior de indivíduos hemiparéticos, frente ao desempenho muscular e amplitude de movimento, após tratamento com terapia robótica. Como metodologia, a pesquisa serviu-se de uma amostra que consistiu em 12 voluntários sadios (Grupo Controle) e 15 voluntários pós-AVE (Grupo de Intervenção). Ambos grupos passaram por um protocolo de avaliação que consistiu em coleta de dados baseada na avaliação de fadiga e força muscular periférica: coleta de sangue para mensuração basal do lactato sanguíneo; avaliação de torque (Dinamômetro Isocinético); coleta de sangue para mensuração final do lactato sanguíneo; e avaliação funcional dos movimentos de flexão e extensão de cotovelo com auxílio da câmera Cinemática. O Grupo de Intervenção realizou 10 sessões de terapia robótica no exoesqueleto ArmeoSpring®, após o tratamento foi realizada a reavaliação. Após o tratamento, o Grupo de Intervenção apresentou aumento da amplitude de movimento, aumento do torque muscular e diminuição da concentração de lactato após uma contração voluntária máxima. Concluiu-se assim que a terapia robótica foi um recurso seguro e eficaz para melhora do desempenho do membro parético dos indivíduos que participaram deste estudo.
The article documents the mediasphere in the state of Jammu & Kashmir (J&K). The analysis reveals a tremendous increase in the number of publications in the state of J&K over the period of time. On the basis of the data retrieved from the official website of the Registrar of Newspapers for India (RNI), periodicals were also identified district-wise and region-wise. Furthermore, language-wise analysis was also done to gauge the difference in the growth of press in various languages in the state. Besides, the study also maps radio, TV, internet and mobile phones, media schools, and so on in the state.

In the year 2020, the world suffered the effects of a global pandemic. COVID-19 is a disease that mainly affects the respiratory system of patients, even causing a disproportionate response of the immune system and further spreading the damage to other vital organs. The main means by which health care services detected this viral disease was through the use of Polymerase Chain Reactions (PCRs). These PCRs allow the detection of known chains of the genetic code of the virus in samples of sputum. In this work, we study PCR signal features that allow to automatize the analysis of hundreds of PCRs. The findings obtained from the study have shown these features to be capable of obtaining successful results in the detection of COVID-19 in PCR samples, with only a small fraction of the information extracted by the clinicians for that purpose.
In natural language processing, a recently popular line of work explores how to best report the experimental results of neural networks. One exemplar publication, titled "Show Your Work: Improved Reporting of Experimental Results," advocates for reporting the expected validation effectiveness of the best-tuned model, with respect to the computational budget. In the present work, we critically examine this paper. As far as statistical generalizability is concerned, we find unspoken pitfalls and caveats with this approach. We analytically show that their estimator is biased and uses error-prone assumptions. We find that the estimator favors negative errors and yields poor bootstrapped confidence intervals. We derive an unbiased alternative and bolster our claims with empirical evidence from statistical simulation. Our codebase is at http://github.com/castorini/meanmax.

In literature, it has been reported that a current intensity lower than 120 A leads to a microstructure without grain growth inthe heat affected zone (HAZ) of ferritic stainless steel welds. Nevertheless, in technical literature there is little informationabout the reduction in mechanical properties of ferritic stainless steel welds without filler metal due to grain growth in the HAZ. In this work, thin plates of ferritic stainless 439 steel were welded using pulse current gas tungsten arc welding (P-GTAW) without filler metal. The microstructures in the HAZ were analyzed and the mechanical properties on the welded joint were found by tensile test. This was carried out by cutting samples for the tensile test from the weldments and then tested in a universal testing machine. The fracture surface were observed using scanning electron microscope.

Our aim was to determine (a) how parents deal with experiences like having a son missing in war, and (b) what expectations they have in terms of outcomes. This qualitative study included 29 parents of 21 sons gone missing in war. We used content analysis singling out narrative patterns and coded these. We assessed intercoder reliability using Krippendorff’s alpha coefficient. Items passing the Krippendorff’s alpha threshold of ≥.50 were verified using Cronbach’s alpha. Three of five coders showed acceptable intercoder agreement on 23 of the 173 identified topics (13.3%; Krippendorff’s alpha: .50-.82). Cronbach’s alpha coefficient confirmed intercoder reliability of .7903. Fathers’ narratives differ from mothers’. Statistics are a valuable tool for identifying specific motifs in grieving narratives of parents who have lost their child. Content analysis can provide insights without interfering with authentic personal experience sparing interviewees from reliving the traumatizing experience.

The article describes the basic laws of the penitentiary system’s formation in the Olonets province. The author identifies main problems that existed in the operation of prisons in the province as well as the ways of interaction of various departments in re-education and social adaptation of prisoners. The changes occurred in the prison system as results of the February Revolution of 1917 were studied.
