The increase in research related to intercollegiate athletic coaching, athletes, and leadership continues to be of note within the sport management field. However, less is known about the position of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Faculty Athletic Representative (FAR) despite their important role to serve as a liaison between the academic and athletic units on their campuses. Thus, the purpose of this study was to examine NCAA FARs perceived mattering, role satisfaction, relationship between the two variables, and the experiences and interactions that affected their perceptions of mattering. Three hundred and two NCAA FARs participated in the survey and results demonstrated that overall FARs perceived they mattered and had high satisfaction in their role. Open-ended responses expanded this sense of mattering by situating it within recognition for service, contributions to decision-making and communication with leadership, and aiding student-athlete success. However, when mattering was not felt, it was due to exclusion from leadership, lack of power, and a lack of compensation. Thus, practical and managerial implications are provided to ensure the role of the FAR is furthering the goals of both academic and athletic communities alike on their campuses.

Purpose: to give a comparative description of the peculiarities of motor activity of boxers-veterans of different styles of fighting based on the analysis of psychophysiological and biomechanical parameters.
Material and Methods: The study involved 42 qualified veteran boxers (age 45-50 years, body length - 178.67±8.26 cm, body weight - 70.96±9.38 kg). The biomechanical indicators of a direct blow in boxing were recorded using the Kinovea program, version 0.8.15, and psychophysiological indicators using the Psychodiagnostics program. As biomechanical indicators, the speed of movement of various points of the limbs and the angles in the joints were determined. As psychophysiological indicators, the speed of a simple visual-motor reaction, a reaction of choice in various testing modes was recorded. Based on these indicators, the mobility and endurance of the nervous system were determined. The reliability of differences between groups of different fighting styles was determined.
Results. Tempo-style boxers differ from representatives of other fighting styles in their lower mobility of the nervous system and greater endurance for speedy and precise actions. Tempo-style boxers have the lowest values of the angle in the knee joint throughout the movement (p<0.05, p<0.01) and the highest speed of movement. Play style boxers are characterized by the greatest angle in the shoulder joint at the very beginning of the movement (p<0.05, p<0.001), the highest speed of fist and shoulder movement at the very beginning of the movement (p<0.001). Power style boxers develop maximum movement speed at the end of a straight punch compared to the beginning. Power style boxers are distinguished by the smallest values of the angle in the elbow joint, which is especially noticeable at the end of the movement (p<0.001).
Conclusions. Psychophysiological features of boxers of different styles of fighting are reflected in the features of the technique of a direct blow. The lack of speed when tempo-style boxers are engaged in movement is supplemented and compensated by the high speed of movement. Play style boxers are characterized by high speed of movement at the very beginning of punching. Power style boxers are distinguished by the gradual development of movement speed.

The tourism industry has been seriously affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, both from a social and from an
economic perspective. Despite showing signs of resilience, the negative repercussions on tourism-related activities
have been serious, the hospitality industry proving to be the most sensitive in the face of the sanitary and economic
crises which started more than a year ago. Even though the full (and cumulative) impact of the events which
shaped the current global situation cannot be quantified without a high degree of uncertainty, the negative effects
are visible in the economies of many countries, around the world, at microeconomic, macroeconomic and
behavioural levels (for businesses and individuals). Usually, such economic, social, sanitary crises or other
extreme circumstances (terrorism, natural disasters) trigger a change in the behaviour of tourists, the differences
being dependent on region, country, etc. Thus, given the current economic and social context, this paper focuses
on the behavioural change of the Romanian tourists. The practical purpose of this research is to show the agents
working in the tourism industry on which aspects to focus more and how to diversify their offer based on the
change in demand specific to the "new normal". The most recent research conducted by experts has shown that
the pandemic has negative effects on travel intention for multiple reasons, among them being the selectivity in
choosing the destination based on criteria such as the increased need for hygiene and healthcare conditions, for
travel insurance, etc.

The present study aims at identifying the interest of inhabitants of Bucharest in being tourists in their own city. For this purpose, an online research was carried out between 12 and 24 November 2020. The data was collected from 123 participants through a self-administered online questionnaire. The main idea that the study brings to the fore is the concept of staycation, a form of vacation near the area of residence. Such a holiday proves useful and popular in times of crisis for tourism. The research showed that there are some differences between inhabitants born in Bucharest and those from other places, as well as between women and men, in terms of tourist interest in the city of residence. The main limitation of this study is that the sample was too small and not representative, but nevertheless, some interesting results were obtained. These results could be used, for example, to promote domestic tourism.

This study’s primary objective was to analyse the factors influencing
overall customer satisfaction with tourism resources by applying two
similar techniques with different approaches. A survey was
conducted between June and December 2017, producing a total of
171 valid forms. Importance performance analysis (IPA) and
asymmetric impact-performance analysis (AIPA) were used to process
the data. The results suggest that El Caminito managers give low
priority to generating tourist information about and satisfaction with
this resource’s features. In addition, managers need to concentrate
on improving signposting. IPA highlighted that the environment’s
assessment is an overexploited factor, but AIPA suggested that this
factor can still contribute to shaping customer satisfaction. The AIPA’s
results also show that environmental cleanliness and El Caminito’s
regular cleaning are fundamental factors in visitors’ high general
satisfaction. This study’s systematic use of these analytical tools
facilitated the identification of factors that add to or reduce the value
of tourism resources, thereby helping to improve these resources’
quality and sustainability. The findings’ application could ultimately
enhance this destination’s competitiveness and its overall success

This paper examines how consumers develop their attitude toward a
destination website and are influenced by its usability, perceived risk
and perceived usefulness – all of which can enhance their purchase
intention. To create an authentic browsing scenario for the study, a
website was specially designed for a fictitious tourist destination.
Participants were invited to browse the site freely while carrying out
the task assigned to them. This approach contributed added value to
the research by simulating the real behavior of consumers who are
faced with a range of options when selecting their purchase. The
findings confirm that perceived usability and usefulness exert a
positive influence on attitude toward the website, while the effect of
the perceived risk is negative. The key implication is that if tourism
business managers can better understand how attitude toward a
website is developed this will enable them to market their products
and services more effectively.

rentabilidad, endeudamiento, equilibrio económico-financiero,

Students who highly identify with a team are likely to share a personal self-concept with larger groups in higher education. The improved self-worth is positively associated with the adjustment to college life, and is considered one of the significant predictors to achieve students’ educational goals. However, little research has been conducted to scrutinize the effects of team identification on school adjustment. The purpose of this study, therefore, was to examine direct and indirect relationships among team identification, personal self-esteem, and school adjustment. A total of 254 undergraduate students at a FBS institution in the southeastern region of the United States participated in the study. The results revealed that the higher team identification students possess, the higher personal worth they feel. In addition, team identification and personal self-esteem led to social adjustment while personal self-esteem and social adjustment had a positive impact on emotional adjustment. By understanding team identification as an important academic facilitator, administrators in both the academic and athletic fields can develop the most appropriate environment for students to enhance their adjustment to college life.
