INTERNALIZATION OF RELIGIOUS VALUES IN THE PROGRESSIVE EDUCATION PRACTICE AT PONDOK PESANTREN AL-AMANAH MODERN JUNWANGI SIDOARJO

This study aims to analyze the process of internalizing religious values within the practice of progressive education at Pondok Pesantren Al-Amanah Modern Junwangi Sidoarjo, “especially through the Sanggar Tahfidz Entrepreneur program. The selection of this topic is based on the need to develop an Islamic education model that not only emphasizes spiritual dimensions but is also relevant to the demands of the 21st century. This research employs a qualitative field research approach using in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation involving teachers, administrators, and students. The findings show that religious values such as sincerity, discipline, trustworthiness, responsibility, and patience are internalized through habituation, role modeling, and various tahfidz activities, including recitation submission, muroja’ah, mentoring, and strengthening Qur’anic etiquette. Meanwhile, progressivism principles are manifested through experiential learning (learning by doing), democratic participation, and reflective evaluation, as reflected in entrepreneurial activities ranging from production and digital marketing to business management. The integration of both aspects produces a holistic educational model in which religious values are not merely understood cognitively but are lived through real-life experiences that shape spiritual character, independence, creativity, and critical thinking skills. These findings affirm that pesantren education can adapt progressively without losing its religious identity.

Marketing Strategy for the Image of Private Educational Institutions in Increasing Student Interest

This research aims to analyze the image marketing strategy of private educational institutions in increasing student interest at SD Labschool Unesa. In the era of globalization and intense competition, educational institutions are required to implement effective marketing strategies to attract the interest of prospective students and maintain a positive image in the eyes of the public. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data was obtained through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. The research results show that SD Labschool Unesa uses various marketing strategies, including the use of social media, community-based promotional activities, and improving the quality of educational services. The implementation of these strategies has succeeded in increasing the interest of new students, as well as strengthening the positive image of the institution among parents and the community. This research provides recommendations for other private educational institutions to optimize their marketing strategies in order to increase attractiveness and public trust.

K-Pop Fandom Activism on Social Media: Refuting Accusations of Slacktivism in Internet Activism

The phenomenon of K-Pop fandom activism, which has been considered as a mere fanaticism movement, has experienced a developmental orientation towards the fulfillment of common interests. K-Pop fandom activism is able to become a movement in social media that has an impact and brings public attention in voicing social changes. This paper focuses on analyzing the trends, forms, and real implications of social movements initiated by K-Pop fandoms with a high number of masses and militants. Using qualitative research utilizing online sources, this study found that K-Pop fandom activism has enlivened issues that are not only related to their community but have referred to global issues such as social, cultural, environmental and political. This activism is able to become a catalyst on social media in the form of real action rather than slacktivism. Real action is carried out by giving donations, filling out petitions to make demonstration efforts. This activism phenomenon has implications for changes not only in the issues raised but also has implications for changes in the stigma of society towards K-Pop fandom which tends to be more positive as a driver of social change. However, this paper is limited to the use of text data as the main source which cannot provide empirical conclusions. Therefore, future research should integrate the views and experiences of those directly involved in K-Pop fandom activism so that it is possible to formulate more comprehensive conclusions. Fenomena aktivisme fandom K-Pop yang selama ini dianggap sebagai gerakan fanatisme belaka ternyata telah mengalami perkembangan orientasi atas pemenuhan kepentingan bersama. Aktivisme fandom K-Pop mampu menjadi gerakan dalam media sosial yang berdampak dan membawa atensi publik dalam menyuarakan perubahan-perubahan sosial. Tulisan ini fokus menganalisis tren, bentuk, dan implikasi nyata dari gerakan sosial yang diinisiasi oleh fandom K-Pop dengan jumlah massa yang cukup tinggi dan militan. Menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan memanfaatkan sumber-sumber online, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa aktivisme fandom K-Pop sudah meramaikan isu-isu yang bukan hanya terkait komunitas mereka saja melainkan sudah merujuk pada isu-isu global seperti sosial, kultural, lingkungan hingga politik. Aktivisme ini mampu menjadi katalis di media sosial berupa aksi nyata bukan sebagai slacktivisme. Aksi nyata yang dilakukan dengan pemberian donasi, mengisi petisi hingga melakukan upaya demonstrasi. Fenomena aktivisme ini berimplikasi pada perubahan tidak hanya pada isu yang diangkat melainkan juga berimplikasi pada perubahan stigma masyarakat terhadap fandom K-Pop yang cendrung lebih positif sebagai penggerak perubahan sosial. Akan tetapi, tulisan ini terbatas pada penggunaan data teks yang menjadi sumber utama yang tidak dapat memberikan kesimpulan empiris. Oleh karena itu, penelitian masa depan harus mengintegrasikan pandangan dan pengalaman pihak yang terlibat langsung dalam aktivisme fandom K-Pop sehingga memungkinkan untuk merumuskan kesimpulan yang lebih komprehensif.

The Effectiveness of mobile learning media using Smart Apps Creator on Economic subjects

This study aims to produce mobile learning media using the Smart Apps Creator and to determine the effectiveness of these media in increasing student interest in learning. The 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate) is used in the research and development process for this project. This research is limited to the development phase. The participants in this research were XI IPS SMA PGRI Pekanbaru students. Data was obtained based on interviews and questionnaires. Based on the substantiation of media and content specialists, the research findings indicate that the use of mobile learning media created by smart apps creator is feasible, with 87% of the categories being very appropriate according to media experts and 83% of the categories being very appropriate based on subject matter experts. Paired sample t-test obtained differences and positive increases in student learning interest before and after using smart apps creator-based mobile learning media, so the media is said to be effective. The use of media received a good response from students; 64.5% consider mobile learning media using smart app creators to be very practical and helpful in learning, while the remaining 35.5% consider it practical. This research is limited to APBN and APBD material and is only carried out until the development stage.

The Calligraphic Arrangement of the Laleli Complex (Evaluation of Inscriptions and Writings)

The Laleli Complex was built by Mustafa III 1760-1764 and its architectural features are representative of the intermediate period of the transition from classical Ottoman to Westernization. This feature of the complex also allows one to follow the social and mental breakdowns experienced in the 18th century through architecture. The complex was completed by the architect Mehmed Tahir Ağa and was repaired many times. During the reign of Mustafa III, the complex was affected by disasters such as earthquakes and fires that destroyed many parts of Istanbul. Mustafa III is considered among the important patron sultans due to having rebuilt and revived many of Istanbul’s structures. This article attempts to reveal how the entirety of this historical process and the related phenomena affected the inscriptions as an architecture-related element. This article generally addresses the formal and functional changes that occurred in architecture while being able to ignore the direction of other architecture-related elements. The placement and content of the inscriptions and epigraphs in particular should be evaluated from this perspective, as they are an integral part of architecture due to their ability to convey political content and messages in addition to religious content in the face of a changing sociology. This article attempts to evaluate all aspects of the inscriptions and writings in the Laleli Complex.

The effect of social media marketing and religiosity on perceived value and student’s decision in choosing non-religious program at Islamic higher education

Purpose: This study aims to examine the effect of social media marketing and religiosity on perceived value and student’s decision in choosing non-religious programs at Islamic Higher Education. Methodology: This study conducted an online survey on 158 respondents who are studying non-religious programs in three Islamic Higher Education institutions in Indonesia, namely Universitas Islam Indonesia, Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, and Universitas Islam Negeri Sunan Kalijaga. The data was analysed using Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Findings: The results show that social media marketing and religiosity have a positive and significant impact on perceived value. Social media marketing has a positive but insignificant impact on student’s decision and religiosity has a negative but insignificant impact on student’s decision. Lastly, perceived value have a positive and significant impact on student’s decision. Originality: The need for higher education is increasing along with the demands of the working world which requires skills and professional abilities in accordance with the needs of the organization. This causes the interest of people to continue their studies to the higher education level is also increasing. Even so, the fierce competition between higher education institutions to get potential candidates in student enrollment forces them to struggle to survive, especially for Islamic Higher Education. Thus, it is important for hihger education institutions to implement effective marketing strategies.

Pengaruh Kepribadian dan Attachment Terhadap Emotional Eating Pada Remaja di Tangerang Selatan

Penelitian sebelumnya menemukan bahwa ada kecenderungan remaja untuk makan berlebihan dalam rangka mengatasi emosi negatif. Fenomena ini disebut emotional eating, di mana individu makan untuk mengisi kebutuhan emosional. Jika itu menjadi berlebihan, makan akan menjadi masalah bagi individu itu sendiri. Penelitian ini meneliti munculnya emotional eating pada remaja karena mereka rentan terhadap pengalaman emosional. Kepribadian dan keterikatan dianggap sebagai prediktor untuk emotional eating pada remaja. Data dari 328 remaja diambil untuk membuktikan pengaruh tersebut. Penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil yang sangat berbeda dari temuan sebelumnya.

Islamic religious education teachers are people who provide knowledge with the aim of educating and fostering the morality of students as good people. In the process of moral development of students, an Islamic education teacher in delivering material must have the right method. Moral material is one of the most dominating material in the formation of personality of students. If the provision of this material is maximally endeavored by the religious teacher, the morality of the participants should be ascertained to be better. In this case the Islamic religious education teacher plays the first and foremost role in the process of moral development of his students. For the success of the moral development process, an Islamic religious education teacher must be able to use several methods in building it to improve the worship experience. Departing from that background, the author wants to discuss it in a thesis and takes the title "Moral Development Method in Increasing Worship Practice Students in Middle School 4 in East Lampung Sekampung" The purpose of this study was to determine the level of moral deviation of students, to know the method of religious education teachers Islam, both in terms of supporting and inhibiting factors in the moral development of students and how much the practice of worship of the students increases. The research that the author is doing is included in descriptive qualitative research, and in the course of collecting data, the author uses observation, documentation, and interview methods. While for the analysis, the author uses qualitative descriptive analysis techniques, namely: in the form of written or oral data from people and behavior that is observed so that in this case the author seeks to conduct research that is describing thoroughly about the actual situation. The results of the research conducted by the author can be conveyed here, that the coaching method that the author offers in the discussion of this thesis is one way that can be done to find the best solution to the problem of moral development methods used by PAI teachers in increasing the practice of worship of students. And the efforts made by the teachers of Islamic religious education are one of the ways to foster the morale of those who have been deceived. Even if there are still other alternatives that might be better than what have been submitted or written in this thesis, then this can be used as input or additional so that this thesis continues to grow and does not stop here

GENDER DALAM PERSPEKTIF TEOLOGI: RELASI KUASA DALAM PEMIKRAN TEOLOGI ISLAM

Abstrak: Tulisan ini mengkaji tentang teologi, dalam konteks ini adalah teologi Islam. Teologi Islam dimaknai sebagai sebuah produk pemikiran seseorang dalam menfasirkan ajaran al Qur’an. Karena merupakan produk pemikiran, maka di dalam teologi memungkinkan terjadinya perbedaan. Dari beragam penafsiran yang ada, dalam konteks gender, sebuah teologi dapat bersifat bias ataupun adil gender. Kemunculan teologi sebagai sebuah produk pemikiran tidak bisa dilepaskan dari kekuasaan yang ada dalam diri manusia, yang menyebar, dan selalu berdialektika dengan bentuk kekuasaan lainnya. Kekuasaan tidak selalu bersifat negatif ataupun menekan,  tetapi kekuasaan bisa memunculkan satu pengetahuan yang dapat dikukuhkan melalui wacana. Tulisan ini mengkaji tentang teologi, dalam konteks ini adalah teologi Islam. Teologi Islam dimaknai sebagai sebuah produk pemikiran seseorang dalam menfasirkan ajaran al Qur’an. Karena merupakan produk pemikiran, maka di dalam teologi memungkinkan terjadinya perbedaan. Dari beragam penafsiran yang ada, dalam konteks gender, sebuah teologi dapat bersifat bias ataupun adil gender. Kemunculan teologi sebagai sebuah produk pemikiran tidak bisa dilepaskan dari kekuasaan yang ada dalam diri manusia, yang menyebar, dan selalu berdialektika dengan bentuk kekuasaan lainnya. Kekuasaan tidak selalu bersifat negatif ataupun menekan,  tetapi kekuasaan bisa memunculkan satu pengetahuan yang dapat dikukuhkan melalui wacana. This paper examines the theology; it is in the context is Islamic theology. Islamic theology is defined as a product of one's thought in interpreting the teachings of the Qur'an. Because it is a product of thought, then it allows that the different views may occur in theology. Of different existing interpretations, in the context of gender, a theology can be gender-biased or gender-equity. The emergence of theology as a product of thought cannot be separated from the existing and spreading of human power and it always dialectic with other forms of power. Power is not necessarily negative or pressing, but power can bring knowledge that can be confirmed through discourse.

Amuk: Sindrom Barat dan Pemberontakan Tak Sadar (Analisis Kritis Pergeseran Makna Amuk dalam Lintasan Sejarah)

This article begins with the writer's "disquiet" about the massively absorbed word amuk in English (Europe in general). Whereas the original amuk is a word in Javanese Kawi, which can also be found in Malay, Indonesian, and Tagalok. Starting from this background the author further attempts to reveal the meaning and spirit of the times used by society until the adoption of amuk in the European language. In this brief study the author reveals that: first, the amuk that comes from the Javanese kuno language is not merely means to act brutally and wildly unconsciously the culprit, but amuk can also be interpreted with mengunyak or war. Secondly, amuk is adapted in European language because Europeans can not reason when witnessing amuk acts committed by Malays. In the Mindanao region of the Philippines, amok - by Americans - is used to identify juromendo and sabil actions perpetrated by Moros. Third, in the development of amuk serve as a language of psychopathology for those who carry out brutal acts because of mental health. Fourth, wisely European scientists defend the actions of amuk by the Malays because they are depressed and humiliated by the invaders.

Teachers play a leading role and occupy a very crucial position in the world of education, especially education organized formally in both schools and madrasah. Therefore, the constitutional existence of teachers has been regulated in Law no. 14 of 2005 on teachers and lecturers. The law requires a number of teacher competencies as professional educators. Although formally the teacher is regarded as a professional educator, but in practice in the field various types and behavioral models presented by the teacher in realizing the duties and responsibilities of his profession as a teacher is mainly reflected in the learning activities in the classroom. There are behavioral behavior of teachers who are stagnant even tend to decline and there is also the behavior of teachers who experience improvement and progress. The latter is what is referred to as progressive professional behavior.
