W Mt 5, 22 zostają skierowane niezwykle surowe słowa przeciwko gniewowi, w których zostały nałożone pewne sankcje za gniew, w zależności od jego trzech różnych przejawów. Autor artykułu stara się usystematyzować zebrane odniesienia ojców greckich i łacińskich do Mt 5, 22bc, w których gniew zostaje poddany moralnej kwalifikacji. Artykuł stanowi przegląd myśli patrystycznej na ten temat.

Dalla storia ci sono noti assai bene le prominenti figure della Galia tardoantica (IV-V secolo d.C.): Paolino di Nola, Sulplicio Severo, Eucherio di Lione, Salviano di Marsiglia, ecc. Tutti quanti appartenenti alla classe della nobiltà d’allora, ben educati, sposati, in un certo momento della loro vita hanno abbandonato vita monadana e si sono dedicati all’ascezi ed agli ideali monastici. Si parla della „seconda conversione” dopo il battesimo. Nell’articolo viene presentato il fenomeno e si domanda sulla sua natura. Un’analisi dei casi esaminati ci peremette a dare i conclusioni. Anzitutto posiamo dire di un crescente desiderio della vita più vicina a Dio nel mondo già cristianisato ma poco esigente.

This paper focuses on the social environment of the ancient Church of Ravenna, which developed its own local liturgy. The paper also characterizes the most impor- tant components of the liturgy up to mid 5th century. The Catholic see of Ravenna developed an original liturgy, which flourished during the incumbency of Bishop Peter Chrysologus (380-450). The ancient liturgy of the 5th century Ravenna church appears to have been a bridge, which United the Catholic liturgy of the Christian Orient with the West. The pregregorian Roman liturgy constituted its most prominent component. The pregregorian liturgical rite of Ravenna was conspicuous for its Roman Character, although it had always preserved its original local elements in the 5th as well as in the 6th-9th centuries. In the 9th century the liturgy of Ravenna was Romanized in accordance with the unifying tendencies of the Gregorian reform.

La bibliografía acerca de Wulfila es realmente inmensa No obstante, en este piélago de estudios se aprecia una continua tendencia a analizar la figura del Wulfila de manera unilateral, es decir exclusivamente en relación con ese mundo godo que le arroja de su seno en el transcurso de la década de 340 a 350. Pero si se acepta la hipótesis defendida por E.A. Thompson de que el llamado Apóstol de los Godos no convirtió al cristianismo a los miembros del plueblo godo, estimo que ha llegado la hora de ocuparse de Wulfila desde un nuevo punto de vista, que radicaría en ver su actuación a lo largo de la controversia arriana del siglo IV mas dentro de la parte oriental del Imperio Romano. Con la discesa di Cristo agli inferi si intende indicare soprattutto l’idea che la sakezza viene estesa anche sui morti prima delle venuta di Cristo, sui "giusti". Una tale convinzione risale alla tradizione apostolica, peró la sua formulazione essa trovera nei circoli giudeo-cristiani, ricorrendo al linguaggio teologico di allora, senza rifiutame le categorie cosmologiche, con ben chiara finalita pastorale. Gradualmente si arriva alFidea che il mistero della liberazione dei "giusti" agli inferi viene reso presente al mistero del battesimo, al punto tale che i "tre giomi" di Cristo nella tomba vanno espresse con il rito della triplice immersione battesimale.

In diesem Beitrag wurde die Rolle des Bischofs in der spatantiken Stadt besprochen. Die Aufmerksamkeit des Verfassers wurde vor allem auf eine Frage gelenkt: kann man die offentliche Tatigkeit des spatantiken Bischofs ais eine Fortsetzung der antiken Euergesia betrachten? Der Autor dieses Aufsatzes ist der Meinung, daB ja. Die Beantwortung dieser Frage stellen sich jedoch viele Schwierigkeiten entgegen, vor allem durch die Lakonitat der Ouellen, die die Tatigkeit der einzelnen Bischoffe betrifft.
