Spinal cord injury (SCI) is a pathological neurological condition that leads to significant motor dysfunction. It is a condition that occurs as a result of tragic accidents, violent acts, or as a consequence of chronic diseases or degenerative changes. The current treatments for patients with SCI have moderate efficacy. They improve the quality of life of patients, but they are still doomed to long-term disability. In response to the modern directions of research on possible therapeutic methods that allow for the recovery of patients with SCI, a scientific review publication is needed to summarize the recent developments in this topic. The following review is focused on the available pharmacological treatments for SCIs and the problems that patients face depending on the location of the injury. In the following review, the research team describes problems related to spasticity and neuropathic pain; possible therapeutic pathways are also described for neuroprotection and the improvement of neurotransmission within the injured spinal cord, and the review focuses on issues related to oxidative stress.
AbstractIn this paper, we study rare semileptonic decays of the $B_c$ meson in the context of type-I, II, and III two Higgs doublet models. We follow the relativistic quark model for parameterizing the form factors used in matrix elements of weak transitions between the corresponding meson states. We investigate observables such as branching ratio, lepton polarization asymmetry, forward–backward asymmetry, etc. and analyze the dependence of these quantities on the model parameters. We have found that there is noticeable sensitivity to these observables for the charged Higgs boson, which may provide a powerful probe to the standard model and new physics beyond it.
A university registration system needs transparency, high security, and high integrity of the data to prevent fraudulent actions on registration. Blockchain technology is a technology focused on the secure, transparent, and integrity of the data. This technology is suitable for the requirements of a registration system. This study proposes a method for integrating the blockchain into the registration system by using the smart contract to design the storage of data on the blockchain, and the functions with the logic process for the actions related to registration. This paper will discuss the architecture design, implementation, and testing to show the potential of applied blockchain in the registration system.
Data Science and Artificial Intelligence are popular fields of research. A significant contribution was made to Artificial Intelligence in the recent past by defining branches like “Artificial Intelligence Plus Plus (AI++)”, “The Interesting and Complete Artificial Intelligence (ICAI)”, “Out of the Box Artificial Intelligence (OBAI)”, “Twenty Second Century Artificial Intelligence (TSCAI)”. A similar significant contribution can be made to Data Science by defining branches like “Data Science Plus Plus (DS++)”, “The Interesting and Complete Data Science (ICDS)”, “Out of the Box Data Science (OBDS)”, “Twenty Second Century Data Science (TSCDS)”. This article is based on these research gaps. The primary focus of this work is to coin, define and invent a new Data Science field titled “Data Science Plus Plus (DS++)”.
The purpose of this Coastal and Hydraulics Engineering technical note (CHETN) is to specify the software requirements, architecture, and detailed design for the DataSwitch Data Sweeper (DS)² application. This document is designed for the software developers maintaining (DS)2 and is intended to aid these developers in understanding its architecture and underlying functionality.
