Purpose: This study aimed to investigate gender and discrimination among Iranian female athletes. Method: This research was conducted using grounded theory with a structuralist approach of Charmaz (2006). The theoretical and purposive sampling methods were used to conduct in-depth interviews. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews until theoretical saturation was reached with 15 women and girls aged 19 to 55 who exercised professionally or recreationally. In this way, coding was used in three stages, including primary coding, theoretical coding, and centralized coding. Results: Finally, 91 primary codes were extracted, of which 15 codes were centralized and, finally two theoretical codes of gender discrimination, and stereotypes were obtained. The results showed that the existence of issues such as gender patterns in the segregation of sports disciplines, patriarchal culture in sports, media avoidance of women's sports, and inequality in women's sports investment have led to gender discrimination in women's sports. Conclusion: The findings showed that gender discrimination and stereotypes affect the development of women's sports. By examining social norms and attitudes, it is possible to understand how these biases limit women's progress in sports. Considering the need to improve the status of women's sports and increase their participation, research in this field can identify the existing barriers and provide solutions to improve the conditions.

In the study, the evaluation by the top management and the supervisory board of medium-sized agricultural enterprises in the Republic of Serbia is presented, as a basis for making correct business decisions in business in the following period of time. The goal of the work was to reveal the existence of differences in the evaluation of the analyzed factors: satisfaction with the company's operations, the level of information about the operations of all parts of the agricultural company, cooperation with other legal entities from the environment of the agricultural company, online sales as a modern form of business and tax policy that affects business. The obtained results indicate that there are significant differences in the evaluation of all factors, as well as their overall score, as well as that the supervisory board, as the highest management body in the company, has more confidence in the decisions made by the top management. In the end, it should be pointed out that the coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.527 is obtained by applying the regression analysis, that is, the prediction model obtained is 52.7% of the total variance. Therefore, such a model is significant (p<0.0005, F=27.487), i.e. the total operating costs of medium-sized agricultural enterprises can be predicted based on the analyzed factors, which is a key contribution of the author of this study. In addition, reporting according to the requirements of external users implies in special cases the preparation of business reports in English and their delivery within the prescribed period.
This thesis focuses on the typical case of Special Treatment Zhongcheng (formerly Qingdao Zhongcheng), comprehensively using empirical research methods to conduct a systematic and in-depth analysis of the company’s specific means of information disclosure violations and financial fraud. In the research process, it innovatively adopts the event study method to meticulously analyze the abnormal stock price fluctuations before and after the exposure of fraud, striving to accurately reveal the impact of fraudulent acts on the capital market. Meanwhile, the paper also deeply explores the penalty measures taken by regulatory authorities for such violations and the company’s response strategies in the face of crises. The research results show that ST Zhongcheng manipulated financial statements through a series of complex and hidden fraudulent means, including fabricating revenue, inflating assets, and concealing major litigations, eventually triggering a cliff-like decline in stock prices and causing severe damage to the vital interests of investors. This study expects to provide useful references for regulatory authorities to optimize regulatory policies, investors to enhance risk identification capabilities, and listed companies to strengthen compliance management, so as to help improve the capital market regulatory system and enhance enterprises’ awareness of compliant operations.
Purpose: is to study of the processes of digitalization and digital transformation of the real sector of the economy of the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District. Methods: the methodological basis of the study was the concept of the digital economy, the theoretical principles of supply-side economics, the systems approach, trend analysis and predictive analytics. The study is based on the use of the methods of economic and statistical analysis, scientifi c abstraction, analogies and scientifi c generalizations. The methods used are characterized by validity and show a high degree of eff ectiveness. Results: digitalization and digital transformation processes are underway in the North Caucasus Federal District, but the pace remains low. To accelerate these processes, it is necessary to solve two interrelated problems: fi rstly, to materialize the processes of digitalization and digital transformation in the real sector of the economy of the regions of the federal district, and secondly, to train personnel in certain specialties who can eff ectively operate digital technologies. In the fi rst case, it is possible to use the model of catch-up development at the regional level, which will make it possible to implement the principle of “advantage of backwardness” and use the accumulated global and regional experience in the transition to the modern trends in the operation of digital technologies. In the second case, it is proposed to organize special centers in the subjects of the district for retraining digital technologies specialists with the necessary competencies and/or advanced training with the issuance of the confi rming certifi cates. Such centers could train exclusive specialists at the request of enterprises or engage in refresher training and retraining of the necessary specialists. The creation of the centers is possible on the basis of public-private partnership. Conclusions and Relevance: the main task of the digital transformation of industry is considered to be the modernization of production process management, which will lead to the signifi cant increase in labor productivity. To implement such a scenario, the economic entities in the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District need to move away from the traditionalist approaches that take place in the organization and management of enterprises, and switch to the processes of digitalization and digital transformation of the real sector of the economy of the district.
This study aims to analyze the activities of forestry companies in both the European Union countries and Ukraine through an examination of their non-financial reports. By scrutinizing these reports, the study seeks to unveil aspects of social responsibility and assess the degree of implementation and achievement of Sustainable Development Goals. Special attention is given to the disclosure of ecological information by forestry enterprises, aimed at identifying potential risks and enhancing investor and consumer trust. The article underscores the significance of ecological responsibility within the strategies and operations of these companies. It highlights the sustainability report as a pivotal tool for modern forestry firms, fostering improved management practices, collaboration, and development based on sustainability principles. The authors conduct an in-depth analysis of transparency levels, ecological responsibility, and the extent to which ecological aspects are integrated into the operations of forestry enterprises. Companies that effectively implement and expand non-financial reporting in the forestry and wood processing sectors are better positioned to attract investments from funds and consumers prioritizing sustainability and ethics. Consequently, this fosters a positive public perception and enhances competitiveness. The relevance of this research lies in its contribution to environmental preservation and the establishment of a sustainable economy. The findings are expected to provide valuable insights into environmental management practices and guide efforts towards enhancing ecological sustainability in forestry.

Small-scale industries play a crucial role in industrialisation of India. These industries face numerous problems, some of which are peculiar to them, while others are common to both small-scale and large-scale industries. The COVID-19 pandemic has unleashed unprecedented threats as well as opportunities on this sector. This article tries to analyse the problems affecting the entrepreneurs associated with 141 micro-manufacturing enterprises in the Dibrugarh district of Assam and puts forward some policy suggestions. In order to identify the most pressing problem faced by the entrepreneurs, the Garrett ranking method is employed in the study. It is found that dearth of skilled labour is the most acute problem encountered by the sector. Lack of proper marketing arrangements, shortage of quality and cheap raw materials, obsolete technology and lack of timely finance are other important hindrances. The significance of skilled labour points to the intense need for continuous skill development of the local workforce by establishing more technical institutes, training programmes, etc. Furthermore, the government should provide special assistance for technological upgradation, develop institutional marketing facilities, and supply cheap and quality raw materials. Further, simplification of procedures in banks’ lending policies, relaxation of requirements like collateral security and margin money may go a long way in enhancing both confidence and performance of small entrepreneurs.
In the conditions of market instability, both in the practice of economic activity and in the scientific literature, the effective use of labor resources is increasingly recognized as the main prerequisite for the creation of qualitatively new ideas and the introduction of know-how into the production environment of economic agents. In this regard, the development and use of methods of personnel management, based on the need to address the development of the innovative potential of the commercial organization, acquire a special significance and relevance, which determined the setting of the purpose of this article. The authors substantiate the necessity of using the developed toolkit, which makes it possible to identify the willingness of the employees of the economic entity to implement innovative transformations. The research carried out on the basis of the analysis of changes in the structure of the labor resources of innovation-oriented enterprises of the North Caucasus Federal District indicates that an increase in the share of researchers in the total number of employees and an increase in their level of development contribute to the approval of a larger number of patent applications filed according to the results of R&D. The labor resources of the economic entity, being a key element of its innovative potential, require the implementation of a systematic approach to their formation and use, which lies at the intersection of economic, humanistic and competence approaches to the organization of basic managerial processes.

Among many different definitions of competitiveness it is difficult to pinpoint the most appropriate one. In the paper it was defined as the ability to be profitable by effective use of available resources. The profitability ratios (ROS, ROA, ROE and value index) were proposed as measures of competitiveness and resources were indicated as one of the group of factors that has an impact on it. Precisely, the purpose of the paper was to examine the relationship between selected resourced based factors and competitiveness of agricultural enterprises. The study was done with the use of correlation analysis on the basis of statistical data on selected Polish companies operating in agriculture. The main finding was that the analyzed resources (the level of labour, size and quality of agricultural land and size of assets) were weakly correlated with competitiveness. This observation means that other factors have stronger impact on agricultural company’s competitiveness. They can refer to intangible resources (such as relational capital, know-how, managerial competencies, technological resources etc.) and external conditions (such as climate, legal issues) of agricultural enterprises.
