In the diamesic continuum from spontaneous speech to written language, many speech forms lack the unwilling responses and the reflex actions of face-to-face interaction. For instance, beyond reading aloud speech, the peculiarity typically regards formal public speech and acted speech. In fact, while in the spontaneous language performance, the ideational process is synchronous to the locutionary process, and speech goes on together with the flow of thought, in the reading, instead, the content is figured out completely only afterward, and also, for this reason, the performance frequently lacks communicative efficiency.
The paper offers an overview of an innovative reading-aloud teaching practice based on an empiric multimodal approach in which visuospatial sensorimotor dynamic instructions exploit the capability of gestures and body movements to trigger a meaningful, effective text interpretation.

The \textit{set-coloring Ramsey number} $\mathrm{R}_{r, s}(G_1,G_2,...,G_r)$ is the least $n \in \mathbb{N}$ such that every coloring $χ: E\left(K_n\right) \rightarrow\binom{[r]}{s}$ contains a monochromatic copy of $G_i$, that is, a color $i \in[r]$ such that $i \in χ(e)$ for every $e \in E(G_i)$. If $G_1=G_2=\cdots=G_r=G$, then we write $\mathrm{R}_{r,s}(G)$ for short. In 2022, Le asked to find lower and upper bounds for $\mathrm{R}_{s, t}(G)$ with various kinds of graphs $G$ such as stars, paths, cycles, etc. In this paper, we obtain exact values or bounds for the set-coloring Ramsey numbers of stars, paths, matchings, etc. By Lovász Local Lemma, we give a lower bound for the set-coloring Ramsey number for general graphs.

The PIETOOLS 2025 User Manual describes all the features of version 2025 of the MATLAB toolbox PIETOOLS for the analysis and control of Partial Integral Equations (PIEs). The manual is aimed to guide, with examples, first-time users to four fundamental features of PIETOOLS: converting coupled ODE-PDEs, DDEs, DDFs, etc., to PIE representation; analysis of stability and input-output properties of PIEs; design of optimal observers and controllers for PIEs; simulation of open- and closed-loop PIE systems. The use of PIETOOLS is not limited to the features described above. However, the manual focuses on these features to provide a holistic understanding of the workflow of PIETOOLS, which will serve as a foundation to develop more complicated programs, for example, the design of boundary feedback controllers, robust observers, robust controllers, etc..
Italo Calvino’s The Cosmicomics, despite its pluralistic openness to multiple critical interpretations by various theoretical and conceptual frameworks including post-humanism, science-fiction studies, postmodernism and many more, deals with the fundamental issue of the human’s physical and conceptual inseparability from Nature or the cosmos. The human’s inseparability from the non-humans (including animals, vegetation and inanimate matters) has profound ecological implications. What Calvino establishes in the mentioned text is the human’s inevitable and unconditional inclusion in Nature rather than his self-proclaimed, physical/conceptual exclusion from the same. This is vindicated by the fictional illustrations in the text in which the ‘human’ is posited as a mere member of the ecosystem, and not as its master. In this context, this article endeavours to explore and analyze the said ecological implications of the mentioned work in the light of some the established ecological theories and postulations.

Random graph (RG) models play a central role in the complex networks analysis. They help to understand, control, and predict phenomena occurring, for instance, in social networks, biological networks, the Internet, etc. Despite a large number of RG models presented in the literature, there are few concepts underlying them. Instead of trying to classify a wide variety of very dispersed models, we capture and describe concepts they exploit considering preferential attachment, copying principle, hyperbolic geometry, recursively defined structure, edge switching, Monte Carlo sampling, etc. We analyze RG models, extract their basic principles, and build a taxonomy of concepts they are based on. We also discuss how these concepts are combined in RG models and how they work in typical applications like benchmarks, null models, and data anonymization.
We study Kleene iteration in the categorical context. A celebrated completeness result by Kozen introduced Kleene algebra (with tests) as a ubiquitous tool for lightweight reasoning about program equivalence, and yet, numerous variants of it came along afterwards to answer the demand for more refined flavors of semantics, such as stateful, concurrent, exceptional, hybrid, branching time, etc. We detach Kleene iteration from Kleene algebra and analyze it from the categorical perspective. The notion, we arrive at is that of Kleene-iteration category (with coproducts and tests), which we show to be general and robust in the sense of compatibility with programming language features, such as exceptions, store, concurrent behavior, etc. We attest the proposed notion w.r.t. various yardsticks, most importantly, by characterizing the free model as a certain category of (nondeterministic) rational trees.

Authentication and authorization of a user's identity are generally done by the service providers or identity providers. However, these centralized systems limit the user's control of their own identity and are prone to massive data leaks due to their centralized nature. We propose a blockchain-based identity management system to authenticate and authorize users using attribute-based access control policies and privacy-preserving algorithms and finally returning the control of a user's identity to the user. Our proposed system would use a private blockchain, which would store the re-certification events and data access and authorization requests for users' identities in a secure, verifiable manner, thus ensuring the integrity of the data. This paper suggests a mechanism to digitize documents such as passports, driving licenses, electricity bills, etc., issued by any government authority or other authority in an immutable and secure manner. The data owners are responsible for authenticating and propagating the users' identities as and when needed using the OpenID Connect protocol to enable single sign-on. We use advanced cryptographic algorithms to provide pseudonyms to the users, thus ensuring their privacy. These algorithms also ensure the auditability of transactions as and when required. Our proposed system helps in mitigating some of the issues in the recent privacy debates. The project finds its applications in citizen transfers, inter-country service providence, banks, ownership transfer, etc. The generic framework can also be extended to a consortium of banks, hospitals, etc.
We introduce tf_geometric, an efficient and friendly library for graph deep learning, which is compatible with both TensorFlow 1.x and 2.x. tf_geometric provides kernel libraries for building Graph Neural Networks (GNNs) as well as implementations of popular GNNs. The kernel libraries consist of infrastructures for building efficient GNNs, including graph data structures, graph map-reduce framework, graph mini-batch strategy, etc. These infrastructures enable tf_geometric to support single-graph computation, multi-graph computation, graph mini-batch, distributed training, etc.; therefore, tf_geometric can be used for a variety of graph deep learning tasks, such as transductive node classification, inductive node classification, link prediction, and graph classification. Based on the kernel libraries, tf_geometric implements a variety of popular GNN models for different tasks. To facilitate the implementation of GNNs, tf_geometric also provides some other libraries for dataset management, graph sampling, etc. Different from existing popular GNN libraries, tf_geometric provides not only Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) APIs, but also Functional APIs, which enable tf_geometric to handle advanced graph deep learning tasks such as graph meta-learning. The APIs of tf_geometric are friendly, and they are suitable for both beginners and experts. In this paper, we first present an overview of tf_geometric's framework. Then, we conduct experiments on some benchmark datasets and report the performance of several popular GNN models implemented by tf_geometric.
Herein, we report a brief introduction of metal oxide nanoparticles and their diverse applications in different scientific and medical fields. This report will be updated frequently to give a complete review in similar fields of nanotechnology. In the present version of the report, an introduction to nanotechnology and nanomaterials with some synthesis routes (such as Hydrothermal synthesis and Sol-Gel synthesis etc.) to prepare the metal oxide nanoparticles is given. In this version we have primarily included the basic introduction of application of metal oxide nanoparticles in the fields of biomedical, resistive switching and photovoltaic etc.

We provide a gentle introduction, aimed at non-experts, to Borel combinatorics that studies definable graphs on topological spaces. This is an emerging field on the borderline between combinatorics and descriptive set theory with deep connections to many other areas. After giving some background material, we present in careful detail some basic tools and results on the existence of Borel satisfying assignments: Borel versions of greedy algorithms and augmenting procedures, local rules, Borel transversals, etc. Also, we present the construction of Andrew Marks of acyclic Borel graphs for which the greedy bound $Δ+1$ on the Borel chromatic number is best possible. In the remainder of the paper we briefly discuss various topics such as relations to LOCAL algorithms, measurable versions of Hall's marriage theorem and of Lovász Local Lemma, applications to equidecomposability, etc.

Hamlet’s desire must be examined in relation to the desire to be, that is the desire for identity: this is the claim upheld in this study. Consequently, the article begins by making a distinction between the desire to be and the desire to have: this distinction was expressed in a new way by Freud, but was never adequately developed either by Freud himself or by Lacan. Therefore, the desire to be has remained prisoner of the Oedipus complex, even in Lacan’s reformulation in which it basically proves to be the desire to be the Phallus.
Yet the desire to be must be understood starting from the “modal revolution” introduced by Heidegger, and this allows us to appreciate the more innovative thesis in Freud’s essay, “Group Psychology and the Analysis of the Ego” (1921). Identity is a relationship that may be considered to be a coincidence or a non-coincidence with oneself: in the latter case, we will refer to an “overcoming identity.” As a result, philosophy, the theory of the subject and the theory of literature are called upon to investigate the modes of identity.
From the perspective of the modes of being, Hamlet is analyzed here starting from his refusal to subordinate his own identity to the role of avenger. His desire oversteps the borders of neurosis and melancholy, in which it had traditionally been imprisoned (also by Lacan). Hamlet is a hero of non-coincidence: he goes beyond the models that appear to him to be inadequate and attempts to construct a flexible identity. Adopting the mask of madness, he has the opportunity to display his linguistic creativity. This does not deny that Hamlet is a tormented hero: the shadow of his father and the lust of his mother are obstacles to the desire for identity.
This interpretation is only delineated in the last pages of the article. It is first necessary to show that the limitations of Lacan’s interpretation derive from a narrow conception of the Symbolic and the desire to be for which Lacan never acknowledges creative possibilities. The Lacanian notion of “lack” is a logical and epistemological obstacle that prevents the development of the logic of flexibility and the nonof “non-coincidence.”

In the last five years the attention of narratologists for complexity theory has been growing. The recent most comprehensive collection of narratology, Emerging vectors of Narratology(Hansen et al. 2017), includes two essays on the topic and two other collective books are forthcoming. This article explores the motivation of such interest in complexity and puts forth some reflections on systemic conceptions of narrative, from Russian Formalism, to a recent proposal by John Pier, ending with second generation cognitive narratology.

Most of the internet today is composed of digital media that includes videos and images. With pixels becoming the currency in which most transactions happen on the internet, it is becoming increasingly important to have a way of browsing through this ocean of information with relative ease. YouTube has 400 hours of video uploaded every minute and many million images are browsed on Instagram, Facebook, etc. Inspired by recent advances in the field of deep learning and success that it has gained on various problems like image captioning and, machine translation , word2vec , skip thoughts, etc, we present DeepSeek a natural language processing based deep learning model that allows users to enter a description of the kind of images that they want to search, and in response the system retrieves all the images that semantically and contextually relate to the query. Two approaches are described in the following sections.
