We give our comments on Ref. [1](arXiv:2507.07180) which critiques our idea of exploring quantum statistics to distinguish between Dirac and Majorana neutrinos proposed in some of our earlier works. We show that the ad-hoc symmetrization of the Dirac case amplitude square advocated in Eqs. (16) and (35) of [1], have no physical basis and it leads to violation of lepton number in the the standard model. Therefore, we consider this symmetrization by hand as incorrect and misleading. Moreover, we show that it is even unnecessary for the proof of pDMCT in context of final states containing a neutrino and antineutrino pair.

Recently interactions between putative axions and magnetic monopoles have been revisited by two of us [arXiv:2205.02605 [hep-ph]]. It has been shown that significant modifications to conventional axion electrodynamics arise due to these interactions, so that the axion-photon coupling parameter space is expanded from one parameter $g_{aγγ}$ to three $(g_{aγγ},g_{aAB},g_{aBB})$. We implement Poynting theorem to determine how to exhibit sensitivity to $g_{aAB}$ and $g_{aBB}$ using resonant haloscopes, allowing new techniques to search for axions and a possible indirect way to determine if magnetically charged matter exists.

Abstract In general, paramagnetic ions serve as fluorescence quencher. Very few fluorogens are known who could enhance emission on binding with paramagnetic transition metal ions. In this work, a novel (3-methoxy-7-pyridin-2-yl-5, 6, 8, 13-tetrahydro-7H-8, 13a-diaza-benzo [f]naphtho [2,1-a]azulen-14-yl)-acetic acid methyl ester (HPBD) is characterized by spectroscopic techniques who selectively senses Cu2+ ions with the ‘turn-on’ fluorescence enhancement at 463 nm over 25 metal ions. Limit of detection is as low as 35.58 nM (EPA recommended tolerance limit, 20 μM) in buffered (HEPES, pH, 7.4) acetonitrile (MeCN)/H2O (v/v, 19:1) medium. The 1:1 composition of [Cu-PBD]+ complex is supported by fluorometric Job's plot, mass spectra and Bensei-Hildebrand plot (association constant Ka = 5.2 × 10 4 M − 1 ). It is further studied to monitor Cu2+ ions in Hep G2 cells by fluorescence microscope.

In 2012, we investigated the possible molecular states composed of two charmed mesons [Phys.Rev. D 88, 114008 (2013), arXiv:1211.5007 [hep-ph](2012)]. The $D^*D$ system with the quantum numbers of $I(J^P)=0(1^+)$ was found to be a good candidate of the loosely bound molecular state. This state is very close to the $D^*D$ threshold with a binding energy around 0.47 MeV. This prediction was confirmed by the new LHCb observation of $T_{cc}^+$ [see Franz Muheim's talk at the European Physical Society conference on high energy physics 2021].

Electrospun polyacrylonitrile fiber membranes (EPFMs) were coated with multilayer films, assembled using the layer-by-layer (LbL) technique through the alternate deposition of poly(allylamine hydrochloride) (PAH) and poly(acrylic acid) (PAA), to develop an antithrombogenic drug release membrane for hemodialysis. Methylene blue (MB) and heparin (HEP) were attached to the PAH and PAA multilayers, respectively, as model drug and antithrombogenic agent to investigate the dual functionality of the membranes. The positively (PAH, MB) and negatively (PAA, HEP) charged groups generated a supermolecular polyelectrolyte multilayer film (SPF) capable of loading high amounts of MB and HEP on the EPFMs at appropriate composition. The pH was fixed at 5.5 during assembly to stabilize the SPF. Heavy assembly of the PAH/PAA multilayer occurred at 10 wt% of both MB and HEP with 25 cycles of LbL deposition, and it exhibited long-term release of MB and low release of HEP at pH 7.4 in a circulatory system. The SPF-coated EPFMs also achieved low platelet attachment after 4 h of platelet rich plasma circulation and showed prolonged clotting times including thromboplastin, thrombin, and prothrombin times. Collectively, these observations suggest that SPF-coated EPFMs have great potential for use as hemodialysis membranes with positively charged drug loading.
