Some notes on tensor triangular geometry
Greg Stevenson
These are notes from the lectures I gave at the Oberwolfach seminar `Tensor Triangular Geometry and Interactions' which was held in October 2025. The aim of these notes is to give an introduction to tensor triangular geometry, for both small and large categories, through the lens of lattice theory. We do not try to be exhaustive and this is reflected in both the content and the bibliography. For instance we are quite light on triangulated preliminaries, especially for compactly generated categories. The first three sections treat the essentially small case and conclude with a tensor triangular proof of Thomason's theorem computing the spectrum of the perfect complexes on a quasi-compact and quasi-separated scheme. The last section treats the compactly generated case. This final section is somewhat experimental and contains some new thoughts.
EXFOR utility codes (ForEXy) and their application to neutron fission cross section evaluation
Naohiko Otuka, Vidya Devi, Osamu Iwamoto
We developed a set of EXFOR utility codes (ForEXy) to process the information of the experimental nuclear reaction data stored in the EXFOR library. We designed a new JSON format (J4) for the EXFOR library, and developed a code converting the information in an EXFOR file to a J4 file (X4TOJ4) and another code converting it to an EXFOR file (J4TOX4) as a core part of this new code package. We also developed some other codes for managements of the EXFOR storage, bibliography and dictionary. As an application of the new code package, we constructed covariance matrices for the fast neutron induced fission cross sections of neptunium-237 in the EXFOR library by using the new codes, and applied them to evaluation of the cross section between 100 keV and 200 MeV.

Making reproducibility a reality by 2035?
Rebecca Taylor-Grant, Matthew Cannon, Allyson Lister
et al.
This paper describes a project which identified practical and pragmatic ways to increase the FAIRness and reproducibility of published research. Academic journals have supported Open Science through the implementation of data sharing policies for over ten years; some evidence has since emerged on the additional time, resources and expertise that policy enforcement requires as part of an editorial workflow. A series of publisher workshops facilitated by the EC-funded TIER2 project aimed to identify the key checks needed to enforce strengthened journal data sharing policies and to understand which editorial roles have the capacity to undertake such enforcement. The intended outcome of this work was to establish the workflows and resourcing which can support academic journals to enforce stronger data sharing policies in future.

On pseudospectrum of inhomogeneous non-Hermitian random matrices
Konstantin Tikhomirov
Let $A$ be an $n\times n$ matrix with mutually independent centered Gaussian entries. Define \begin{align*} σ^*:=\max\limits_{i,j\leq n}\sqrt{{\mathbb E}\,|A_{i,j}|^2}, \quad σ:=\max\bigg(\max\limits_{j\leq n}\sqrt{{\mathbb E}\,\|{\rm col}_j(A)\|_2^2}, \max\limits_{i\leq n}\sqrt{{\mathbb E}\,\|{\rm row}_i(A)\|_2^2}\bigg). \end{align*} Assume that $σ\geq n^\varepsilon\,σ^*$ for a constant $\varepsilon>0$, and that a complex number $z$ satisfies $|z|=Ω(σ)$. We prove that $$ s_{\min}(A-z\,{\rm Id}) \geq |z|\,\exp\bigg(-n^{o(1)}\,\Big(\frac{\sqrt{n}\,σ^*}σ\Big)^2\bigg) $$ with probability $1-o(1)$. Without extra assumptions on $A$, the bound is optimal up to the $n^{o(1)}$ multiple in the power of exponent. We discuss applications of this estimate in context of empirical spectral distributions of inhomogeneous non-Hermitian random matrices.

Improper legitimization of hijacked journals through citations
Anna Abalkina, Guillaume Cabanac, Cyril Labbé
et al.
The goal is to study the prevalence of citajacked papers: papers in authentic scientific journals citing hijacked journals, in academic literature. A Citejacked detector was designed as a part of the Problematic Paper Screener (https://www.irit.fr/~Guillaume.Cabanac/problematic-paper-screener/citejacked) to trace if the references to articles originating from hijacked journals infiltrate scientific communication. A full-text search was performed between November 2021 and January 2022 in the Dimensions database using the name of 1 of the 12 hijacked journals. The analysis of the bibliography in these articles revealed that 828 of them cite unreliable articles from hijacked journals. During 01.Jan.2021-31.Jan.2022, an average of 2 citejacked articles has been published daily in established journals. Given the limited number of titles included in this study, the phenomenon might be wider and is not yet systematically studied.
Research on the "involution" mechanism of college students' group competition based on multi-agent simulation
He Chaocheng, Wu Jiang, Huang Qian
et al.
[Purpose/significance] At present, the popularity of "involution" has become a cultural phenomenon, and the social reality it reflects deserves attention. Clarify the concept and characteristics of "involution" and measure it from a quantitative perspective, which helps to quickly seek the formation mechanism of "involution" and the path to solve it. [Method/process] At first, the study explained the evolution of the concept of "involution". Secondly, the evaluation index of "involution" is constructed in relation to the competition scenario of university students. Finally, we analyzed the experimental results, and gave corresponding suggestions from the three dimensions of individual and group. [Result/conclusion] As the randomness in the network topology decreases, the degree of competition for the "involution" of the system increases. The cooperative strategy can improve the total output of the system, while the total system input of the competitive strategy is high, but the total output of the system is low. On the whole, the value evaluation under the global mode is outstanding in the characteristics of high investment, low return and diminishing marginal utility, and the "involution" is serious.

„Ten Knobloch, ten czosnek, czujemy go w nosie”. Bernardyni polscy a reformacja w XVI wieku
Aleksander Sitnik OFM
Bernardyni polscy w XVI wieku byli postrzegani, także przez protestantów, jako zdecydowani obrońcy wiary i Kościoła katolickiego. Działalność tę podjęli bardzo wcześnie, bo już w latach 20. XVI wieku. Wykorzystywali w niej tradycyjne metody: kaznodziejstwo, spowiedź, liturgię, pieśń religijną, piastowane funkcje kwestarzy i kapelanów dworskich, organizowanie przyklasztornych bractw religijnych. Jana Chrzciciela. W znacznej mierze jest to zasługa prowincjałów, którzy potrafili uchronić klasztory bernardyńskie przed reformacją.

A theoretical framework and the experimental dataset for benchmarking numerical models of dilute pyroclastic density currents
Matteo Cerminara, Ermanno Brosch, Gert Lube
The aim of this document is to define a Pyroclastic Density Currents (PDCs) benchmark based on a large-scale experiment to be used with numerical models at different levels of complexity. The document is organized as follows. Section 2 concisely describes the large-scale laboratory experiment setup and geometry, and the relevant specific bibliography. Section 3 introduces the theoretical framework to adapt the experimental dataset to numerical models at different levels of complexity. Section 4 details the initial and boundary conditions. In particular, Section 4.1 describes the inlet velocity that best reproduces the experimental boundary conditions. Section 4.3 describes in detail the inlet concentration and temperature profiles, respectively. Section 4.4 describes the input grain size distribution. Section 5 gives the guidelines for consistently presenting the numerical outputs in a model inter-comparison study. Section 6 is a summary to guide the reader through the data sets.

Activity cycles in RS CVn type stars
C. I. Martínez, P. J. D. Mauas, A. P. Buccino
We compile a list of 121 RS CVn type stars from the bibliography in southern hemisphere, to search for activity cycles, covering a large range of luminosities and rotation periods. For each system of the list, we obtain photometric data from the All Sky Automated Survey (ASAS), and we complement it with our own photometry, obtained with the Optical Robotic Observatory (ORO). We analyze this data with the Generalized Lomb-Scargle periodogram to determine the rotation period and possible activity cycles for each system. We found rotation periods for 102 systems and activity cycles for 91 systems. From the statistical analysis of the results, we found that giant stars behave differently than subgiants and main-sequence stars, and that there is a good correlation between rotation periods and luminosities.
Electrostatic description of 3d $\mathcal{N}=4$ linear quivers
Mohammad Akhond, Andrea Legramandi, Carlos Nunez
We present the holographic dual for the strongly coupled, low energy dynamics of balanced ${\cal N}=4$ field theories in $(2+1)$ dimensions. The infinite family of Type IIB backgrounds with AdS$_4\times S^2\times S^2$ factors is described in terms of a Laplace problem with suitable boundary conditions. The system describes an array of D3, NS5 and D5 branes. We study various aspects of these Hanany--Witten set-ups (number of branes, linking numbers, dimension of the Higgs and Coulomb branches) and encode them in holographic calculations. A generic expression for the Free Energy/Holographic Central Charge is derived. These quantities are then calculated explicitly in various general examples. We also discuss how Mirror Symmetry is encoded in our Type IIB backgrounds. The connection with previous results in the bibliography is made.
A Comparative Study of Multilateration Methods for Single-Source Localization in Distributed Audio
Srđan Kitić, Clément Gaultier, Grégory Pallone
In this article we analyze the state-of-the-art in multilateration - the family of localization methods enabled by the range difference observations. These methods are computationally efficient, signal-independent, and flexible with regards to the number of sensing nodes and their spatial arrangement. However, the multilateration problem does not admit a closed-form solution in the general case, and the localization performance is conditioned on the accuracy of range difference estimates. For that reason, we consider a simplified use case where multiple distributed microphones capture the signal coming from a near field sound source, and discuss their robustness to the estimation errors. In addition to surveying the relevant bibliography, we present the results of a small-scale benchmark of few "mainstream" multilateration algorithms, based on an in-house Room Impulse Response dataset.

Plant Trait Dataset for Tree-Like Growth Forms Species of the Subtropical Atlantic Rain Forest in Brazil
Arthur Vinicius Rodrigues, Fábio Leal Viana Bones, Alisson Schneiders
et al.
Plant functional traits have been incorporated in studies of vegetation ecology to better understand the mechanisms of ecological processes. For this reason, a global effort has been made to collect functional traits data for as many species as possible. In light of this, we identified the most common species of an area of 15,335 km2 inserted in the subtropical Atlantic Rain Forest in Southern Brazil. Then, we compiled functional trait information mostly from field samples, but also from herbarium and literature. The dataset presents traits of leaf, branch, maximum potential height, seed mass, and dispersion syndrome of 117 species, including trees, tree ferns, and palms. We also share images of anatomical features of branches used to measure wood traits. Data tables present mean trait values at individual and species level. Images of wood and stomatal features may be useful to assess other anatomical traits that were not covered in the data tables for the anatomical determination of species and/or for educational purposes.

Mathematics of Isogeny Based Cryptography
Luca De Feo
These lectures notes were written for a summer school on Mathematics for post-quantum cryptography in Thiès, Senegal. They try to provide a guide for Masters' students to get through the vast literature on elliptic curves, without getting lost on their way to learning isogeny based cryptography. They are by no means a reference text on the theory of elliptic curves, nor on cryptography; students are encouraged to complement these notes with some of the books recommended in the bibliography. The presentation is divided in three parts, roughly corresponding to the three lectures given. In an effort to keep the reader interested, each part alternates between the fundamental theory of elliptic curves, and applications in cryptography. We often prefer to have the main ideas flow smoothly, rather than having a rigorous presentation as one would have in a more classical book. The reader will excuse us for the inaccuracies and the omissions.

Gabriel morphisms and the computability of Serre quotients with applications to coherent sheaves
Mohamed Barakat, Markus Lange-Hegermann
The purpose of this paper is to develop an efficient computational model for Abelian categories of coherent sheaves over certain classes of varieties. These categories are naturally described as Serre quotient categories. Hence, our approach relies on describing general Serre quotient categories in a constructive way which leads to an efficient computer implementation.

Recreation of the european higher education area within the horizon of a wisdom society: Towards a new educational scenari
Gonzalo JOVER, José Luis GONZÁLEZ GERALDO
<p>The European Higher Education Area (EHEA) derived from the well-known</p><p>Bologna process, has come to an end. Nevertheless, its implementation has brought a</p><p>sound introduction of the equally famous Knowledge Society and the democratization</p><p>of the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in education. All these</p><p>changes have been critical to consummate the step from the mere knowledge to the more</p><p>desirable know how and, in this sense, improve the quality of higher education. In these</p><p>lines, we would like to sum up the characteristics of the aforementioned change and</p><p>try to understand what could, or should, be the next aim to be achieved. Therefore, we</p><p>advocate moving towards a “Wisdom Society” that could allow to enhance knowledge</p><p>on ethical and moral principles and help us to achieve competence-based professionals,</p><p>no doubt about it, but also critical and committed people who would value, above all,</p><p>knowing how to be.</p>
