In this paper, we prove the existence of periodic solutions for McKean-Vlasov SDEs under periodic distribution-dependent Lyapunov conditions, which is obtained by periodic Markov processes with state space $\mathbb R^d\times \mathcal P(\mathbb R^d)$. Here $\mathcal P(\mathbb R^d)$ denotes the space of probability measures on $\mathbb R^d$. In addition, we show the convergence to the periodic solution and the continuous dependence on parameters of periodic solutions for McKean-Vlasov SDEs. Finally, we provide several examples to illustrate our theoretical results.

Is Hunting allowed on Sundays? Rules for the Seventh Day. The present study is part of a longer research project which aims at presenting the international movement for the sanctification of Sunday between 1875 and 1878 in the light of the periodical Evangyéliomi Protestáns Lap (EPL), founded and edited between 1875 and 1878 by Ferenc Balogh (1836–1913), a Reformed church and dogmatic historian and professor of church history in Debrecen, supplemented by domestic news from the periodicals Protestáns Egyházi és Iskolai Lap (PEIL) and Erdélyi Protestáns Közlöny (EPL). Church associations, tenders, religious and secular newsletters, publications and conferences played a major role in the international struggle for a Sunday off. This is how the International Sunday Movement came into being. The professor from Debrecen also supported it and kept the issue of Sunday celebration on the agenda with his Evangyéliomi Protestáns Lap. The issue was not only examined from an ecclesiastical point of view at the time, but its social and health implications were also pointed out. The issue of Sunday rest was of great interest. The problem is not a recent one, but the transformation of economic life has brought the issue to the fore more strongly. Most of the problematic Sunday working has come from the railways, industry, and commerce, with little mention of agriculture. In this paper, we examine what church life was like on Sundays, what kinds of work and activities were banned by church and piety movements at home and abroad, and what role was played by the example and personal responsibility of the leading classes. Attention is drawn to specific phenomena that seem contradictory to people today such as the fact that hunting was forbidden on Sundays, but not horse riding and exhibitions. We will show how the time of worship was protected, how Sunday trips, excursions, visits to museums, galleries, and public gardens were judged, and what the movement expected of the state. What were the practical consequences of Sunday drinking and what were the counter-effects of Sunday bans.

We say a finite word $x$ is a palindromic periodicity if there exist two palindromes $p$ and $s$ such that $|x| \geq |ps|$ and $x$ is a prefix of the word $(ps)^ω= pspsps\cdots$. In this paper we examine the palindromic periodicities occurring in some classical infinite words, such as Sturmian words, episturmian words, the Thue-Morse word, the period-doubling word, the Rudin-Shapiro word, the paperfolding word, and the Tribonacci word, and prove a number of results about them. We also prove results about words with the smallest number of palindromic periodicities.

Introduction Hemiparetic gait is one of the most common sequelae of a stroke. Acupuncture has shown potential in correcting hemiplegic gait patterns and improving motor function recovery after stroke. However, controversial findings and a lack of supportive evidence on the effectiveness of acupuncture for post-stroke hemiplegia. The intelligent gait analysis system provides a new perspective for the study of hemiparetic gait. This systematic review aims to collect relevant studies and critically evaluate the efficacy and safety of acupuncture in alleviating gait disturbance of post-stroke hemiplegia based on quantified gait parameters. Methods and analysis A comprehensive search of PubMed, Embase, Cochrane stroke group trials register, Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, CINAHL, AMED, three Chinese databases (Chinese Biomedical Literatures database (CBM), National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), and Wan fang Digital Periodicals), four trails registries (The WHO International Clinical Trials Registry Platform, The Chinese Clinical Trial Registry, The US National Institutes of Health Ongoing Trials Register, and The Australian New Zealand Clinical Trials Registry) will be conducted to identify randomised controlled trials of acupuncture for gait disturbance in post-stroke patients. No restrictions on language or publication status. The primary outcomes are gait temporospatial parameters (eg, step length, stride length, step width, step frequency (cadence), walking speed, etc), and gait kinematic parameters (eg, hip peak flex/extend angle, knee peak flex/extend angle, ankle peak dorsi/plantar-flexion angle, etc). We will assess bias using the approach recommended by the Cochrane Handbook for Systematic Reviews of Interventions. A meta-analysis will be conducted to synthesise the evidence for each outcome measure. The χ2 test and I2 statistic will be used for assessing heterogeneity between studies.Ethics and dissemination No ethical approval is needed because no primary data is collected. Scientific conferences or peer-reviewed journals will publish the findings.PROSPERO registration number CRD42022384348.

The article analyzes the process of the formation of the image of Stalingrad in 1942-1943. The purpose of the study is to examine, based on American cartoons, documentary films, and periodicals, the main points in the evolution of the attitude of American society towards Stalingrad, as well as to demonstrate the complexities and contradictions in understanding the features of the USSR. The study of cartoons will help determine the nature of the interaction between textual and visual images in the US media during the discussion of the outcomes of Stalingrad. The analysis results in highlighting a typology of visual images of Stalingrad.

We study a system of intervals $I_1,\ldots,I_k$ on the real line and a continuous map $f$ with $f(I_1 \cup I_2 \cup \ldots \cup I_k)\supseteq I_1 \cup I_2 \cup \ldots \cup I_k$. It's conjectured that there exists a periodic point of period $\le k$ in $I_1\cup \ldots \cup I_k$. In this paper, we prove the conjecture by a discretization method and reduce the initial problem to an interesting combinatorial lemma concerning cyclic permutations. We also obtain a non-concentration property of periodic points of small periods in intervals.

Evolutionary sequences of AGB stars with initial masses on the main sequence $M_\mathrm{ZAMS}=1.5M_\odot$, $2M_\odot$ and $3M_\odot$ were computed for the initial metallicity $Z=0.014$. Selected models of evolutionary sequences with envelopes under thermal equilibrium were used as initial conditions for calculation of nonlinear stellar pulsations. The hydrodynamic models of each evolutionary sequence are shown to concentrate along the continuous line in the period-radius and period-luminosity diagrams. The theoretical period-radius and period-luminosity relations differ from one another for different main-sequence star masses because the stellar luminosity of AGB stars depends on the degenerate carbon core mass which increases with increasing $M_\mathrm{ZAMS}$. In hydrodynamic models of evolutionary sequences $M_\mathrm{ZAMS}=2M_\odot$ and $M_\mathrm{ZAMS}=3M_\odot$ the periods of the first overtone pulsators are $86~\textrm{d}\leΠ\le 123~\textrm{d}$ and $174~\textrm{d}\leΠ\le 204~\textrm{d}$, whereas all models of the evolutionary sequence $M_\mathrm{ZAMS}=1.5M_\odot$ oscillate in the fundamental mode. Fairly regular radial oscillations exist in stars with pulsation periods $Π\lesssim 500$ d. In models with longer periods the amplitude rapidly increases with increasing $Π$ and oscillations become irregular.

The ordered weighted averaging (OWA) operator was introduced by Yager 1 to provide a method for aggregating several inputs that lie between the max and min operators. In this article, we investigate the uncertain OWA operator in which the associated weighting parameters cannot be specified, but value ranges can be obtained and each input argument is given in the form of an interval of numerical values. The problem of ranking a set of interval numbers and obtaining the weights associated with the uncertain OWA operator is studied. © 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.

The article examines the public life of Ukrainians in Zagreb (Croatia) using the example of the activities of the Zagreb cultural-educational Society “Kobzar”, which for 50 years has been the main center for organizing diaspora events in the capital of Croatia and beyond. Over the years of its existence, it has conducted and continues to perform different kind of activities, to carry out their mission better – unification and preservation of ukrainian community in the Balkans. The society was created in 1972 and was named Zagreb cultural and educational Society of ruthenians and ukrainians, and in 2012 it changed its name to the Ukrainian cultural and educational Society “Kobzar” of Zagreb. The analysis includes a number of materials from Slavko Burda's own archive, the current chairman of the Society, and an interview with him. The research also used reports and informational materials from diasporic periodicals, in particular from the magazines “Visnyk”, ”Nasha Gazeta”, “Nova Dumka” and others. Active public figures of the Ukrainian diaspora in Zagreb were published in the columns of this periodical: Slavko Burda, Serhiy Bura, K. Tlustenko, O. Filima, O. Maritynyuk and others. 50 years for a public organization is quite an important date to evaluate its activities. Over the years of its existence, UCES “Kobzar” withstood many difficult challenges, starting from organizational changes and ending with the military conditions in which it had to work in. Despite all the difficulties, the Society managed to regularly hold already traditional and start new cultural events. The Society often held such events together with other national (Ukrainian and not only) minorities of the Republic of Croatia. A large share of the Society’s success depended on the activities of its president/chairman. For the last 30 years, UCES “Kobzar”" was headed by Mr. Slavko Burda. Thanks to his energetic nature, and most importantly, his desire to popularize the Ukrainian language, culture, and spirituality, the Society implemented dozens of new projects. Thanks to people like Slavko Burda, Ukrainians abroad remain Ukrainians, and the Ukrainian State has reliable defenders of its interests in the world in them.

The article is devoted to a new information resource of the State Public Historical Library of Russia (SHPL) – the Biography database, which takes into account publications of a biographical and iconographic nature in pre-revolutionary periodicals. The database is part of the reference apparatus of the biography cabinet – a new structural unit as part of the reference and bibliographic department of the SHPL. A distinctive feature of the resource is the combination of biographical information about a person, bibliographic descriptions of information sources and direct links to their digital copies in the “Open Electronic Library” of the SHPL. The practical experience of the SHPL bibliographers in the formation of the database and the creation of normative records is presented, the range of sources used in its formation and the creation of normative records is characterized. Examples of normative records of geographic objects are given. The main search capabilities of the database, available to readers of the SHPL and for remote users are described. The possibilities of further development of the information resource, including information from registers of births, creation of a corporate project with interested libraries and archives of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation are considered. This will provide additional opportunities to recreate the biographies of Russians of the late 19th – early 20th centuries, and can become a serious help both for professional historians and for a wide range of amateur genealogists studying the history of their famil.

Aim. To systematize data on the prevalence of the combination of functional dyspepsia (FD) and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) using the Rome IIIIV Criteria. Materials and methods. A search in electronic databases MEDLINE/PubMed, EMBASE, and Cochrane was conducted. The depth of search was 17 years (from January 2006 to May 2022). Original publications from peer-reviewed periodicals that applied the Rome IIIIV Criteria for diagnosis of FD and IBS in an adult patient population with detailed descriptive statistics to allow the resulting data to be included in the meta-analysis were selected for final analysis. Results. The final analysis included 38 studies involving 17,993 patients with FD and 15,883 patients with IBS. In the overall pool of studies using the Rome IIIIV Criteria, the pooled prevalence of FD in patients with IBS was 34.625% (95% confidence interval [CI] 28.15941.390), and the pooled prevalence of IBS in patients with FD was 37.549% (95% [CI] 31.51143.787). A random-effects model was used in the analyses since significant heterogeneity between results was found (p0.0001; I298%). Using the Rome III Criteria, the pooled prevalence of FD in patients with IBS was 31.993% (95% CI 26.13538.150; I2=98.17%), while the prevalence of IBS in patients with FD was 34.694% (95% [CI] 29.31940.273; I2=97,89%). An analysis of papers using the Rome IV Criteria demonstrated that the pooled prevalence of FD in patients with IBS was 42.614% (95% CI 18.58868.675; I2=98.97%), and the prevalence of IBS in patients with FD was 50.444% (95% CI 37.95662.904; I2=94,39%). Conclusion. This meta-analysis demonstrated that the prevalence of the combination of FD and IBS identified using the Rome IIIIV Criteria is high and is reported in approximately 1 in 3 patients with the functional gastrointestinal disorders concerned. The prevalence of a combination of FD and IBS identified using the Rome IV Criteria is at least 10% higher than that using the Rome III Criteria.

Non-cardia gastric cancer was significantly associated with Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection. Reducing H. pylori prevalence was an important prevention strategy for non-cardia gastric cancer. However, national-level data on the H. pylori prevalence in non-cardia gastric cancer were limited in China. Therefore, we conducted this study to estimate the pooled prevalence of H. pylori in non-cardia gastric cancer in China. We searched PubMed, Embase, the Cochrane Library, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), Wan Fang, and VIP Database for Chinese Technical Periodicals for studies reporting H. pylori prevalence in non-cardia gastric cancer in China which were published before September 1, 2021. Pooled prevalence was calculated using a random-effect model. Subgroup analysis and meta-regression were used to explore the potential sources of heterogeneity. Egger’s test and funnel plot were used to assess publication bias. A total number of 55 studies with 5324 cases of non-cardia gastric cancer were included in this study. The pooled prevalence of H. pylori in non-cardia gastric cancer in China was 66.5% (95%CI: 62%-71%, I2=93.8%, P<0.0001). In subgroup analysis, a significant difference in the prevalence of H. pylori in non-cardia gastric cancer was noted when stratified by geographic region of China (P=0.0112). The highest H. pylori prevalence (78.9%, 95%CI: 69.9%-87.8%) was noted in Northwest China and the lowest (53.1%, 95%CI: 38.9%-67.3%) was in North China. In meta-regression, a significant association between H. pylori prevalence and geographic region was found, while type of sample, H. pylori testing method, diagnosis period, detection timing, type of study design, quality grade, publication year, and sample size were not associated with the prevalence of H. pylori in non-cardia gastric cancer (P>0.05). A large proportion of non-cardia gastric cancers were associated with H. pylori infection in China, emphasizing the possible benefits of H. pylori eradication for the prevention and control of non-cardia gastric cancer.
