Traditional experimental verification and manual analysis and design methods have also become difficult to meet the needs of modern engineering. With the advancement of computer technology and its development in the field of architectural structural design, people are paying more and more attention to computer-aided development technology (CAD). CAD can improve the work efficiency of the designer, reduce the work of the designer, and is very helpful to improve the quality of the design. The purpose of this article is to study the application of computer CAD drawing software in civil engineering architectural design and structural design. Based on the application basis of computer-aided architectural design, this article first analyzes the advantages of computer design technology as the basic system structure of the building design graphics platform, and then takes the important position of architectural digital technology in the field of contemporary architecture, and finally realizes the CAD drawing software in civil engineering application of architectural design and structural design.
