Deriving exact wave solutions in fractional nonlinear equations of mathematical physics

Abstrak

In this mini-review, we summarize one of the most widely used methodologies for obtaining exact wave solutions of nonlinear partial differential equations (NLPDEs), with a particular focus on traveling-wave solutions, which are of significant interest in physical systems. We then survey some fractional extensions of this approach, illustrating how the same methodology has been adapted to derive exact wave solutions within the framework of fractional NLPDEs.
