Investigative Study about the Stoning In the Islamic Law
Abstrak
Orientlists and some westerners of our era argued that the punishment of stoning is not mentioned in the Qur’┐ n and frequent Sunnah. They objected to ’Ijm┐ ‘ in this case. Maul┐ na Mu╒ ammad Am┘ n I╖ l┐ ╒ ┘ has underestimated the companions who stoned in the era of prophecy and some people of our time fallow the westerner that the Sunnah is not authentic in the field of legislation. They say that only skin punishment is mentioned in the Qur’┐ n and it will not be changed with the Sunnah and Akhb┐ r ’└ ╒ ┐ d. This article is consisted on the following points: (1) Stoning in the light of Qur’┐ n, (2) Stoning in the light of Frequent Sunnah, (3) Stoning in the light of History, (4) Stoning and ’Ijm┐ ‘.
