Antropologia i literatura – „dziwny romans”. Zwroty i przemiany

Anna Łebkowska

Abstrak

The article focuses on transformations in the anthropology of literature that have occurred over the past decades and on the connections between anthropology and literature. These are examined in terms of turns – with particular emphasis on Polish gender studies – as well as transformations: from constructivist assumptions through new ontology and epistemology to the redefinition of the subject and the links between anthropology and post-anthropocentric tendencies. The article highlights how the shared problematization of the foundations of anthropology (panfictionality) and literature (metafiction) – important a few decades ago and often called the literaturization of anthropology or anthropologization of literature – is becoming obsolete in favor of parallel activities: indicating the agency, symbiosis, and non-obvious character of the subject and the beings that coexist with it, which is noticed by both cultural anthropology and literature.
