Experience report on a design approach in an institutional shelter: participatory actions to prepare the project brief

Abstrak

This research presents the theoretical foundation on the history of institutional shelters in the Brazilian scenario and the tools for the conduction of participative actions in design. We also present experience reports about the participatory actions carried out during the data collection. After analyzing the results, it was possible to define the brief for the environment design project, which includes guidelines for continuous actions to revitalize the environments of the shelter.
