Analysis of technological resources in Brazilian male underwear

Abstrak

This paper presents a comparative analysis between pieces of men’s underwear - slip, trunks, boxer, and shorts - with the objective of understanding the different technological resources in the national industrial production process. In order to do so, we present historical changes and the market potential through a bibliographical and field research, in which the variety of fabrics, seams and finishes applied to the pieces were verified and documented.
