Etnography in Sever Do Vouga: Reality<>Change First Step to Engage a Creative and Rural Community

Abstrak

This article reflects the ethnographic work carried out in Sever do Vouga, during the year 2022, within the scope of ongoing doctoral research. This step is the first phase of a set of six that make up the “Reality <> Change” methodology - an adaptation of the “Double Diamond” model developed by the Design Council (2019) made by researchers from ID+ and DESIS - which aims to to study the impact of Creative Industries in combating population decline in rural environments. Sever do Vouga is the place chosen to develop this investigation, as a result of the author’s contact with this territory since 2013. It is also the objective of this investigation to prove and verify this methodology.
