Abstrak

The text describes the farewell ceremony of the French garrison in Wrocław on 20th November 1808, during which the old city banner from 1650 was used, as well as the process of granting the Wrocław Citizens’ Guard (29th January 1809) a new banner with the image of the city coat of arms on one side and the letter W on the other, funded by the merchant Georg Stark (Starck).
