At the same time, there is a contradiction between a rigid and regulated military system, manifested in universities of the Ministry of Defense by excessive formalization of classes, the use of mainly traditional methods and techniques of training, on the one hand, and the need to train a graduate - a successful specialist, with a rich palette of soft skills that can quickly adapt to changing conditions and make decisions quickly, related to the life of subordinates, memorize and operate with a large amount of information - on the other. Accordingly, the methodology of teaching Russian as a foreign language for cadets of the preparatory department and the following courses should be distinguished by flexibility, adaptability, ethnospecific and professionally oriented orientation. Starting from the preparatory course, it is advisable to place methodological and methodological principles that imply the study of the language in all its wealth through its integration into the professional sphere as the basis of the linguistic paradigm for teaching the Russian language as a foreign military term system in specialized universities.</p>
