Method for Intelligent Construction Component Information Indexing Based on Image Recognition in BIM Environment

Abstrak

In the context of intelligent construction, smart design and construction have become one of the core themes in the architecture industry. To realize this theme of intelligence, it is necessary not only to achieve informatization throughout the entire process but also to enhance the level of automation of intelligent construction equipment. This paper investigates how intelligent construction equipment can perceive the construction site by proposing a BIM information indexing method that integrates image recognition technology. Through image recognition, the equipment gains a fundamental classification understanding of prefabricated components present on-site. It then combines this perception with structured BIM data to perform further information inference. Ultimately, this enables intelligent equipment to index various essential information required for automated construction through visual content.
