Tracking matricellular protein SPARC in extracellular vesicles as a non-destructive method to evaluate lipid-based antifibrotic treatments

Abstrak

A method is developed to isolate and characterize extracellular vesicles (EVs) from human hepatic stellate cells and proteomics reveals that the matricellular protein SPARC may be used as an EV marker after lipid-based antifibrotic treatment.
