Abstrak

Chinese traditional architectural culture boasts a long history and profound deposits, which carries important research significance. In recent years, with the deepening trend of globalization and increasingly frequent exchanges among countries, a valuable opportunity has emerged for Chinese traditional architectural culture to go global. Based on the theory of Eco-Translatology, this paper takes Huizhou-style architecture, a representative genre of Chinese traditional architecture, as a case study to investigate the translation of its terms. It discusses the importance for translators to integrate translation with language, culture and communication in the translation of Huizhou architectural terms. It is hoped that this study can provide some reference for the translation of Chinese traditional architectural terms.
