Advanced scalar control based on Fuzzy logic in motor speed control
Abstrak
This study presents an improved approach to closed-loop scalar control for three-phase induction motor, aiming to enhance the stability and adaptability of the speed control system. The proposed method employs a parallel-structure PI controller, in which the coefficients Kp and Ki are not fixed but are automatically adjusted in real time through a fuzzy logic controller. Simulation results on the MATLAB/Simulink software show that the system achieves higher stability, faster response, and better tracking of the reference speed compared to the conventional PI controller with fixed parameters. This approach enhances the practical applicability of scalar control in induction motor drives, particularly under load and speed variations.
