Migración y ciudad. Lo otro dentro de lo nuestro

Nicolás Amoroso Boelcke

Abstrak

Received with an idea, to colonize the country, promoted by their own leaders. The premise was to change the balance, suppress or replace the original peoples. Those leaders did everything possible to exterminate them, without success so far. The newcomers were Europeans, meaning white people. That dogma is present in all current right-wing movements, they feel the same terror that, at that time, the children of Spaniards felt. They ended up breaking up with their parents or the “mother country”, Spain. They had grown up for generations on Argentine soil, they felt different from their ancestors. They wanted to make their own country, in their own way Something did not work out for them with the population project, they expected Central Europeans, they dreamed dreamt with Germans, French and, if possible, some English people. The migratory flood brought the poor from Europe. They came mainly from Italy and Spain. If any came from the dream nations, they were peasants without the culture that the ruling class dreamt. They were almost illiterate. They were admitted after quarantine in the immigrant new home. They were to spread throughout the country to purify the blood. They disobeyed, they settled in the area of Buenos Aires. This is how that admired city developed.
