Abstrak

Managing clinical risk is integral to safe delivery of medical care. This is especially true in general practice where a significant amount of clinical management is based purely on history and examination findings. Invariably, AiTs in general practice are likely to find this aspect of patient care quite daunting in contrast to their peers in secondary care who have much easier access to investigations. In this article, GP trainer, Dr Kunal Chawathey provides useful tips for AiTs to safely manage clinical risk in a primary care setting.
