The Encyclopaedia of World Biography on CD‐ROM, from Gale provides electronic access to biographies on living and deceased individuals whose achievements are important to understanding social and cultural history. Included are biographical entries on 7200 people from many subject areas and all time periods as well as nearly 6500 portraits, and a world events timeline.
