Abstrak
Ethnic journalism and the ethnic press have a long history globally as venues for information and self‐representation for immigrants and ethnoracial minorities. Despite its long history and significance as part of the public sphere, as well as the news industry, this news media sector has been less known and draws less attention than other sectors. The exploration of the ethnic news sector in the three dimensions of journalism studies—news content, consumption, and production—provides a guide that helps navigate ethnic journalism and the ethnic press.
